According to Black Mechanic, every Machina Unit under the three absolute factions was actually Red Rank Spirit Mechanics (Born with Three Connate Aspects), which ranked below Black Mechanic’s previous Blue Rank (Born with Five Connate Aspects) before it turned black after Jacob used a wish to tame it.
