Jacob really wanted to cut his connection with her, but Nyx said nothing wrong, and in the end, he gave in, "Alright, but stay silent unless it’s not something important!"

However, he had no idea that the human was actually a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and Jacob was also thinking about how to achieve his goal for which he had come to the Gemini Continent.
So, when Dark Star made a move against Jacob and told his men to capture him to bring him back for his entertainment, Jacob didn’t need to be polite either.
Jacob instantly revealed his true form for only ten seconds. He used soul search on everyone to find Dark Star’s identity, and without hesitation, he changed his disguise while the real Dark Star died in misery and utter confusion as he became part of the Gluttony Mask.
Meeting a Dark Duke right after he arrived in the Gemini Continent could be considered quite lucky for Jacob, as he required someone like this for this endeavor.
As for using his own personal Dark Earl’s status, Jacob didn’t even consider it because he no longer required to use his own Star ID or his real body as a matter of fact.
Jacob also found his way towards Noxvalis City because of Dark Star’s memories and gained a deep understanding of the Gemini Continent and its overlords.
However, Jacob wasn’t in a hurry to start ’working’ again because the Nightmare Plan was still at its initial stage, so he decided to wander one of the biggest cities of the Gemini Continent, and found himself sitting in Prince’s Chalice.
At this moment, Jacob suddenly heard a few burly Ogres in mercenary attire sitting not far away from his seat whispering among themselves. However, he could still listen to their conversations clearly.
