Two years later...
Louise's POV
"Mom...she loves you, you're going to be great and dad will be home in a couple of hours. I need to do this for Allen, it's his birthday and I wanted to tell him about the other news." I winked at her, making her face brighten up knowingly.
"Just call Cherise if you're having any issues. She loves Hannah, and that kid would stop crying every time she sings to her. She's like the Hannah whisperer. Not like she would give you any trouble, but just in case." I hugged my mom goodbye, then kissed my little sleeping beauty.
Hannah was still napping in her crib, she has her own room with both of her grandparents. She was a spoiled little princess and a darling to everyone except Winston. Her attitude towards Winston always makes me laugh.
Minutes later I was in the car, heading to his beachside workshop. A year after his surfing accident, he talked to me about opening up a surfing apparel brand under his name. He said that he was approached, and they would like to team up with him because of his popularity and his seniority in the surfing industry. He asked me to take a look at their proposal and see if the deal was good, and I did just that. Diligently crossing facts, and checking their background with Cherise's assistance.
Then one thing leads to the next, he was signed and now busy with his new work slash hobby. He got the sparks back in his eyes, and I was truly happy for him.
Since his fatal injury, he would surf small one or two meters waves, as he was advised not to take any more big waves and I was silently glad for it.
"Thank you, Sam, we need to take a quick stop at Alice's cake shop. It should be ready for pick up."
Two hours later we were at his beach workshop, it was fifteen minutes away from our beach house. And he was busy working on a new board design with a couple of his designer crews when I arrived with the cake.
"Hey baby, thank you for the surprise. Is this for me?" he asked looking at the cake box.
"Yeah, with an additional surprise inside, wait...don't open it yet." I kissed his cheek, telling him to follow me to his back office.
He was grinning like a kid, and telling his guys not to disturb the boss.
"Allen! seriously...now they know what we've been doing in your back office all this time!"
"Lou baby, they're guys...it's all they think about." He whispered as he closed, and locked the door behind us.
"Now, what's in the cake box. Did you get that from Alice? How is she? I need to see Archie tomorrow. Wait...is that another kinky cake?"He pulled my waist to him and start kissing the back of the neck, as I put the cake onto the coffee table.
"Why would you think I'll get a kinky one just because it's your birthday?" I said giggling and turning myself to face him and lowering him down for a kiss.
"I've missed you...for the last couple of hours you're away from me. I love you Allen, happy birthday."
I pushed him to his office couch, and start zipping down my dress and throw it to his other couch. His hands went straight to my ass cheeks and squeeze them, making me bite my lip feeling the heat already.
"Sexy, I could never get enough of you..." he was whispering his words, and planting his small kisses on my body. His hands trail up to my back and unclasped my bra. Then I moaned his name when he licked and sucked my nipples.
"Allen, so good..." he knows me too well, and he was taking me places I know he would, but I could never get enough of. I've always wanted him. I thought we have oversexed ourselves in our first month of marriage, but now we were taking all the free time we got to fuck like rabbits.
"Tell me what's in the box?"
His hands were back to my ass, and pulling me closer to his hardness. Then he was taking me to grind him, making both of us groan as we were wanting more of each other. I was quick in shedding off his T-shirt and taking another bite of my lip, looking at his hard pecs and chiseled abs.
"Birthday cake and more..." I moaned my answer.
He smirked and slipped his hand, and took a peek at the cake.
I had Alice did the cake, also as an announcement for me getting pregnant. Again.
The cake was a simple dark chocolate frosting with an additional muffin and cupcake on top of it. With the wording "Stud Muffin or Cupcake" in blue and pink just in case, he didn't get the message.
"Wait... seriously? damn Lou! Look I'll be good this time. I won't panic. I know what to expect now. Hell yeah...thank you, baby." He said taking his fingertip to the cake and licking off the frosting. Then put on his big boyish smile, and pulled me in for his kiss making me taste the chocolate.
That weekend we exhausted ourselves with our intimate time. We called and video chats with little Hannah, but she was still an age where she would miss us, but then gets distracted by her toys seconds later.
"Winston was there dropping off my mom's cookies for Hannah, and after that, she has been crying nonstop. So, Cherise is on her way there...I swear that little princess has something against her uncle."
"Just keep Winston away from her, I think she loves Cora too much that she hated him for not bringing her around anymore," I said snuggling back into his arms.
"Ah..those two kids. I swear, all the break-up and the getting back together is making me have a headache. I just don't get why they just get it together, I swear I'm going to slap his head if he breaks up with her one more time."
"Yeah, you can't put the pressure on him alone. Cora is also to blame. If she would just listen to us, this could all easily be avoided. I think that girl enjoys the drama a bit too much."
"Obviously I picked the right one of the pack." He said pulling me in closer, crossing his leg over mine.
"Yeah, me too..."
I was resting my cheek to his chest. Years that I've been in love with him, was overwhelming me to the point that I couldn't stop falling in love with him.
I was thankful that all of my failures had led me to him, the father of my children, my husband, my friend, my forever.
