That afternoon, I was already on my routine run along the coastline. I was back to conditioning my body to hit the waves. And I would be starting on my yoga routine again today to strengthen my breathing.
I should've started earlier but my mind was not in the game, and it took a long time for me to get my lazy ass off the bed.
But I was definitely not expecting to hear a cry for help on my way back home. It was coming from near the pier, just by the bed and breakfast where Randall works at. I could see a man in a suit, he was cornering a woman to the wall.
Damn city folks! I can't even have a decent run! It's not even dark yet, people are still walking by and he can't keep his dick in his pants.
I started to pick up my pace running to them and was very surprised to find that it was Louise who was being cornered.
What the fuck is going on?!
My blood boiled immediately, and I pulled him away from her and took a hard punch to his face instantly. She didn't even realize that the older man was down until she looked at me.
She was obviously surprised, but instead of giving me a thank you, she yelled at me for punching him unconscious. What the hell?!
"Fuck Allen...what did you do?"
She looked shocked, and I could see that her hands were trembling and her eyes were teary.
"What do you mean the fuck did I do? That guy almost rape you! You're seriously standing up for him?" I cursed, at her crazy outburst.
"He's the freaking boss, I'm handling it carefully!" she yelled at me, she was crying but angry at the same time. I was glad that she was angry, rather than just breakdown and crying as she was being victimized. But it came to her seconds later.
"I need to call Cherise, I need...I CAN'T...fuck!" his phone slipped and almost hit the ground but I catch it just before it did. And then within seconds, I pulled her into my arms. She didn't mind my sweaty shirt, as I could feel her relaxed in my embrace instantly.
Oh, Louise... what am I going to do with you?
"Hey...it's okay, let me call her for you? I'll get this sorted out with my friend Randall, he's the manager here. We will keep things quiet if that's what you want?"
But before she even replies, her friend was already there and then I was taking care of everything for her without even letting her go from my arms.
The feeling was too damn strong. The possessiveness that builds up inside me, was tearing my freaking wall apart. Fuck! Not good. But I kept on reminding myself that she was in trouble, that she was still in shock, that I was helping a dear friend with who I was intimate with. She was in trouble and I needed to help her.
So there I was half an hour later carrying her heels while wrapping her shoulder in my arm as we walk back to my place.
"Come on, let's get you inside. Do you want to shower first? I think you should change your clothes, you can wear my shirt and shorts."
"I'm okay, can you make me a coffee?" she asked while putting her phone, on the kitchen counter.
"How about I get you some wine? it'll relax you, then you can rest. Come let me show you the guest bedroom, you can take a shower while I get the clothes."
I didn't want her to feel pressured by showing her to my room. I was giving her some space, by letting her have her privacy.
She looked at me and finally nodded her head. I left her to shower while I changed out of my wet running clothes in my room. Then I opened a bottle of red and poured a glass for her. She was already under the cover with my shirt while typing on her phone, then she looked up at me and smile.
"Allen, thank you... I'm sorry for my outburst..."
"Lou, it's okay, you were in shock. Drink some wine and relax, you can go to sleep if you want. I'll prepare something for you to eat in the kitchen. Just make yourself at home... okay?"
She nodded and takes the wine from me. I couldn't resist and stroked her wet loose strands, and she rewarded me with another smile.
"So, I'll be outside if you needed me."
Hours later, I was on the back porch doing my yoga routine when she came and greeted me. This yoga training helps with my breathing, whenever I get sucked down by a big wave. Never knew the importance until Clara shoved me into one of the classes. And since then, I've been doing yoga religiously.
"For a model, you really do take care of yourself huh?" she asked as she takes a seat on the outside sofa. She was looking deliciously beautiful in my shirt and rolled-up running shorts.
"I do think us meeting unexpectedly every week should say something. Why don't you just text me back?" I answered her question with another question and ended my yoga session. I decided to take off my wet shirt in front of her.
I smirked seeing that she was scanning my body, seconds before she followed me back into the house.
"Why don't you make us coffee, while I take a quick shower then I'll prepare our dinner?" I cupped her face tilting her head up and kissed her temple.
She was looking fresh without her makeup on, and I would devour her if she didn't just get sexually attacked hours before.
An hour later we were seated by the dinner table, she was picking her food but none was reaching her mouth since we started our dinner.
"Stay the night? I really don't like imagining you alone in your apartment, at least for tonight."
"I guess I could, I'm not really in the mood to explain my situation by staying at my parents or one of the girls. I'll text Cherise to send my overnight stuff." She looked at me, then back to picking her food while I was finishing off mine.
"Do you want to eat something else? We could order in? Sorry, this is my diet for the shoot. But we can get one of that greasy pizza and I'll do a cheat day with you?" I said winking at her, which made her tug her lip up and smile at me.
"It's okay, I'm just not in the mood for food." She finally pushed her plate away. I guessed she was still caught up with what happened today, so I let her be.
"Mm...maybe I should get back home, I'm not feeling like a good house guest at the moment."
"Hey, you've been through a lot today..." I got up and put my plate on the sink and get hers and put it in the fridge. Just in case she decided she wants to reheat the chicken cuts and baby potatoes, later on, tonight.
"Come let's watch Netflix, you want to pick or go with my horror lists with half-naked ladies running around?" She finally laughed, and follow me to the couch.
"I'll watch that then, I need the laughs."
"That's the spirit, now rest on my manly chest while we watch those women making very bad choices in the movies."
She laughed again, but rest her body to my side and rest her head to my chest. I pulled her in closer when we finally picked a movie. She looked at me and smile, and that smile just cracks my wall, and that was when I wrapped her possessively in my arm while kissing the top of her hair.
