"Undress her." An unknown man said which sent chills down my spine.
"H-Help!" I screamed loudly in fear as my heart beats so fast in terror.
They all laughed at me and damn they have scary faces as if looking like drug addicts. "As you can see, no one's going to hear you here, miss."
Yeah I bet no one since this is an isolated area which added to my fear. I bit my lip and took a deep breath, then I rushed to kick the groin area of the man standing in front of me who was the one holding my arm firmly. He groaned in pain and so I took the chance to pull my arm and run away from them.
However, I was not even far when a werewolf blocked my way that made me wide agape. I was extremely shocked to see a werewolf in front of me, especially on school grounds. It reminded me of the day when two werewolves chased after me.
The unexpected appearance of a werewolf in front of me causes me terror. Soon enough, the group of men earlier laughed like they saw something amusing as they walked and stopped in front of me. There were only four men now. Does that mean that one of them is the werewolf in front of me? Are they a group of wolves?
Fuck! Why do I have to be surrounded by werewolves at all times?
"Aren't his hair beautiful?" One of them asked me, pertaining to the gray hair of the werewolf.
I gulped and composed myself, "It's the opposite, actually," I answered.
They did not like that remark. One of them rushed towards me and pulled my hair.
"You bitch!" He exclaimed as he slapped me hard causing me to look down.
"Trying to be brave, are you?" The man who ordered earlier to undress me stated as he laughed devilishly. "Which family do you belong to, huh? I bet you're no one."
I did not answer, completely aware that I really am no one. The sting from the slap started to emerge. How am I supposed to get away from this?
"Woah! Is that the director?!"
Suddenly, we heard a woman's voice that caused the group of men to panic upon hearing those words, others even shivered.
Without a word, they all rushed to leave with fear in their eyes. Even the werewolf who was in front of me ran in fear.
I sighed in relief when they were out of my sight. What a beautiful welcome for my first day at this university...
By the way, who was it?
I looked behind my back to see who helped me and I found two girls who were staring at me intently.
"Are you okay?" The girl with glasses asked and I could see the worry behind her glasses. She looks a bit shy but cute with her simple pink headband, pink rosy lips and brownish straight hair. Her skin color is porcelain that definitely suits her being cute.
I nodded and bowed my head a bit, "Thank you for helping me."
"You should not trust anyone in this university," The other girl said. She looks confident with a positive posture. I stared intently at her. She's beautiful with blonde hair, white skin, red lips and especially blue eyes that makes her like a goddess.
I bit my lip and nodded. I learned that lesson of trust the hard way.
"What's your name? I'm Gabriella," The blonde girl said.
I immediately extended my hand for a handshake, "I'm Maive..."
Gabriela accepted my hand as she smiled at me sweetly.
"Call me Anne," The one with eyeglasses extended her arm towards me shyly. She seemed to be nerdy and I do not hate nerds, on the contrary, I like them.
I accepted it and bowed my head a little. "I'm really grateful. Thank you for saving me," I stated.
They both smiled. They look like good individuals and someone you could trust.
"Do you mind if I could ask for directions to the Valerian Building?" I immediately asked knowing that I will be late in just a few minutes.
Gabriella clapped, "We're heading to that building too!"
I smiled out of joy. Finally, I found someone who could help me at this university. "Mind if I join you too?"
"Let's hurry... we're getting late," Anne stated.
I nodded as I joined them. While we were walking, we all found out that we are in the same class for literature. The other subjects were also the same for us... I was relieved that I now knew someone here other than Tobias.
As soon as we got into the Valerian building, we hurriedly ran towards the elevator to get to the fourth floor of the building. After reaching the fourth floor, the three of us ran until we reached our room. Luckily, there was still no professor when we arrived.
We were gasping for air when we took our seats. Some of our classmates were looking at us as we laughed at ourselves enthusiastically because of our hurried actions.
Minutes after sitting, that's the only time we have recovered from running around.
The professor arrived not long after. He introduced himself and started to discuss some history of the literature and the things that we should expect in his subject. My first class at this university did not take long enough. After all, it was just an introduction to the subject. It will probably only get busier in the next meetings.
The professor dismissed us after that short introduction. I, together with Anne and Gabriela, have the same schedule luckily. I am glad to have them with me.
They seemed to be really familiar with the university despite being a freshman like me. We headed into the library after that class... I joined them knowing that it is my first day here and I don't know anyone but Tobias.
We still have an hour and a half before our next class. Kind of a long time for me.
"So... what family do you belong to?" Asked by Gabriella while we are quietly sitting inside the library.
I actually don't know how to respond to that kind of question. "Uhm...Underwood?" I answered.
She pouted, "I have never heard of that family."
I smiled and nodded. "I came from a far place," I answered.
On the other hand, Anne opened a book. It was a fictional book based on its title.
Not knowing what to do or say, I opened a topic which has been confusing me. "How does a werewolf pass through the high security of Astrid University?" I asked, clueless about everything.
Anne's book slipped away from her hands, making a loud thud on the table. They both looked at each other after hearing my question. The disbelief in their faces was evident.
I crossed my brows, wondering what was wrong with my question. I knew that they also saw the werewolf earlier, I was not hallucinating and I'm sure of that. They were not even shocked by that werewolf as if they were aware of its existence.
"What do you mean to pass the security?" Gabriela asked, still in disbelief.
That made me wonder, they are not questioning about the werewolf but instead about the security.
"I mean... Uh... How could a werewolf enter the campus?" I asked once again, unsure on how to properly put that into a sentence.
"What do you mean, Maive? This is a school of werewolves." She said as if everyone knew that except me.
But her words just screw my senses up.
"W-what!?" I stuttered in disbelief.
