“Come on, Nathalie! Let’s dance!” Chandria urged me.
“No, Chan! I might—” I was not able to speak anymore when she dragged me on the dance floor.
I felt like my world was spinning around. I looked at Chandria and I gasped when her face suddenly doubled, like there were two Chandria in front of me, dancing like crazy women. I rubbed my eye and inhaled deeply. The loud music made my heart pound aggressively, urging me to dance. Chandria held my hands and urged me to dance and so I did. We jumped together and danced in the air.
“Chandria, I want to throw up!” I yelled in the middle of the loud music but she didn’t hear me.
I felt so ill when my stomach started to react in every move I make. I stopped for a moment and held my tummy while my other hand went to my mouth. Oh no! I felt something in my lungs that I immediately ran away from the crowd and tried to find a restroom.
I almost swallowed my vomit as I couldn’t find the restroom! I went back to the counter instead, still trying to prevent myself from throwing up in front of many people.
I was about to ask Sei where the restroom was but then I saw Evan and Irish walking towards the counter... My body froze up.
Fuck the world. I felt a sting inside my chest.
I felt like my vomit had a life of its own and went back to my stomach. I could not even make a single move while looking at them... at Evan and Irish. They weren’t holding each others’ hands but still, seeing them together made me feel frustrated and I didn’t know why. I can’t even control myself.
“Are you alright?” Sei asked me. The concern in his voice is evident. I glanced at him and his eyes looked very worried, then he looked at them. “Evan.”
Evan’s eyes immediately darted on me. I could really tell that he’s kind of pissed off with me. He’s eyeing me darkly, as if I did something wrong, something that he didn’t like.
My hand held on the side of the countertop. I felt the dizziness on my head but I still managed to stand properly.
I can’t be stupid in front of him, in front of her...
Irish smiled at Sei. She looked very elegant in her champagne colored long sleeve top partenered with brown khaki jeans. Her curly hair is perfectly loose on her back and even though she only wore a nude lipstick, her face is still glowing naturally.
She’s like a goddess...
Meanwhile, here’s Nathalie who looked very wasted at this time...

Evan walked towards me. Watching him closing the distance between us made me feel so weak. I felt dizzy but still, I managed to look at his eyes. I suddenly felt like I am in a big trouble.
“It’s been a long time, Sei. I heard that Nathan and his friend are here. Have you seen them” Irish’s voice was purely gorgeous too. Everything about her seems to be beautiful...
She sat on one of the high steeled chairs gracefully.
“They are in a private room on the second floor, Irish.” Sei answered.
“Risha,” Evan called my name in a dangerous tone. He’s already in front of me when I gazed back at him.
I bit my tongue, trying to suppress the urge to shout at him. Our eyes met. The coldness in his eyes sent shivers down my spine. Why does he look so mad, anyway? His lips formed a thin line and then his jaw clenched.
“W-why...” I glanced at Irish who are looking at us now. I tried to read the emotion in her eyes. It’s like she’s worried about what would happen between me and Evan. She’s gawking at us carefully, waiting patiently.
I cleared my throat. I am still thinking why they went here together.
“You’re already drunk, Rish.” Evan stated. He was about to hold my arm but I stepped back immediately.
“I... I can handle myself...” I looked away and prayed that Chandria would come and rescue me.
I heard him breathe heavily. It’s obvious that he’s only controlling his emotion and trying to be patient with me. Despite the loud music, I heard how Sei cleared his throat. I glanced at him and then he eyed me apologetically.
Yeah, right. It was him who sent my photo to Evan.
“I will drive you home. You’re already drunk, Risha.” said Evan in a serious tone.
He tried to hold me and this time, I let him touched me. I was electrified by his touch. I looked down on his hand that was holding my arm carefully. His touch made my knees go weak. I gasped and looked at Irish again.
She smiled carefully at me. My forehead suddenly creased which made her smile fade away.
“Risha...” Evan called my name once again.
I gathered all my strength and stared at him. I can’t help but stare at him angrily. Why are they together? Is he playing with my feelings? I know that I shouldn’t be bothered in everything he does because we don’t have intimate feelings for each other and the only thing that binds us together is that freaking arrangement. I know my place and where to stand but I am not going to let him use that opportunity to make me look so stupid in front of other people!
We’re not even married yet! How could he show up here with another woman? Damn it! This is why I hate infidelity so much!
I wanted so bad to throw up on his face just to make him feel that this situation made me feel angry. He hasn’t moved on yet! He just made me realize that he can’t move on from that woman!
Why the hell did he kiss me when we were in Batanes? What was the kiss for?
“I thought you were preparing for our engagement party,” I said bitterly.
“I am,” he replied coolly.
I laughed sarcastically. Look who’s fooling me here, huh? He’s busy flirting with his first love, not on our engagement preparation!
I eyed him accusingly. I tried to compose myself and looked at him angrily despite how dizzy I felt. He’s such a loser! He’s already tied up with me yet he can’t even stop flirting with Irish!
“Then why...” I glanced at Irish who are now watching us carefully. "Are you with her?"
"She's still a friend," Evan said firmly. He’s almost whispering like he doesn’t want Irish to hear everything.

The side of my lips rose. I held the sleeves of his polo and stepped closer to him. I tiptoed so that I could reach his ear.
"She looks good... You two look good together... Unfortunately, she doesn’t want to marry you...” I whispered the truth to his ear.
I felt his body froze up because of what I just said. He gripped on me firmly. I smiled devilishly and gave him a soft kiss on his cheek. I don’t know what’s going on with me but I can do anything to hurt him because I am damn mad at him.
“Poor Evan... You only have me...” I chuckled. I removed his hand from my arm and gazed it him angrily. "I can sue you for concubinage if you still do this game once we're married."
