I waited for zion to be back from a meeting he told me he had this evening. I suspect that it was more than a meeting he said he has. The reason is that he was dressed like someone who was about to fight. Although he wasn't all in a fighting attire but it still gave it away that he dressed just in case of anything dangerous.
I was worried for him and I wanted to go out and check on him but he made me promise not to go out. I feel like my legs were Pulling me to the door but at the same time, it brings me back inside. I chew on my nail worriedly. I don't know what to do. I feel so useless.
On second thought, I was the luna and there is nothing stopping me from checking on my people. Yes, I shouldn't back down, I tried to go with this other side of mine. I know Zion will be so furious when he sees me but I assure to make it up to him.
A blush crept up my face thinking about how I wanted him so badly in bed with me. I smirked a little.
I went to the doorknob and did what k wanted to do all along. I went out of the room and then I find myself outside the house. It was a little quiet than expected. Normally, pack members usually move around at this hour of the night but no one was outside. This was scaring me. I thought of going back inside but I kept feeling this pull somewhere. I wanted to know what was going on so badly. I kept on walking to the meeting room which was very far from the house in the pack.
I saw some worries far away from me. I thought of showing myself to them but then they will inform Zion that I was around and I didn't want him to know so I hide behind a tree.
I kept peeping just in case I might find somewhere better to hide. I walked further when I realized that I was out of sight.
I couldn't hear footsteps then it was silent again. I tried checking for Zion. He was nowhere in sight. I felt a little terror inside when I saw a bat with red eyes staring down at me.
I was about to scream bloody murder when I felt someone close their hand to my mouth. My scream came as a muffle. I tried to push them away but they were holding on to me so tight. The fact that I was so scared didn't make me listen to their heartbeat it scent not until I heard the voice.
" Calm down"
I felt some kind of relief when it turned out to be Zion. I knew I was found guilty with the look on his face at the moment. He left no room for any explanation.
"You don't listen Ella. I told you to stay inside while I get back but you never listen"

" Just shit up. Do you know what was going on out here? The pack is in danger and the only way out is to keep you all safe but here you are trying to put your nose where it's not needed " he snapped. He was really angry. His face held an expression I have never seen before.
I was mad. Yes, I didn't like the way he was talking to me but I knew he was right. I wouldn't give him the satisfaction. I don't care how he feels but I won't allow him to make me look stupid.
I pushed away from him. He saw it in my expression that I was mad.
" I'm the luna of this pack and you can't blame me for trying to help out. No matter how hard I try to stop the feeling of knowing everything, it's just so hard " I said in anger.
He didn't say anything. He only watches me then rubs his face out of frustration " I'm sorry okay"
" I don't need your sorry. I don't care what you say or do. All I know is I want to help my people. I want to know all that has been going on too"
" It's nothing," he said
I folded my arms " That bat I saw the other time was weird. I'm sure it's not a normal bad and let's not forget the fact that the pack members seem to be inside so early. This is 8 pm for crying out loud and they use to be some pack members outside by this time of the day"
He frowned " You don't need to know everything. At least not this one "
I scoffed " Oh, I need to know everything. I'm outside already so you should start talking or you keep wasting your time here with me "
He knew I was right. He found it hard to say something.
" Ok fine "
I hide a smile. I didn't know I can get on his nerve this way. He always looks so tough but it seems he has this soft side that only I could see. I was glad.
" There has been news that some rogues have been parading this pack for a while now and what we know is that they come to give a message to someone in this pack," he said
I furrowed my brows confused " Are you sure about that?" I find this all the way odd
He nodded " I know it sounds so unbelievable but that is the truth. These rogues come into the pack pretending to be some members of this pack. They put on contact just so we can't identify them "
" But I thought the guards do a lot of checking on visitors?"

I gasped so loudly " How is that even possible. This is bad. This is so bad "
