Chapter 5
A loud noise from her alarm clock was enough to wake her up, Cathy opened her eyes instantly, groaning at the impact of the sun that was hazily burning in her eyes.
"I fucking hate the sun."
Cathy said, quickly taking her a pillow to protect her eyes from the sun's reflection.
"You keep groaning Cathy why you have lecture by 7:30 and this is just 7:12, now raise your ass from that bed and prepare for lectures."
Maggie said, holding a cup of hot chocolate coffee on her hands.
"Ooh mom, I never knew you were here and damn I'm late."
Cathy said, quickly grabbing the cup of coffee from her mother's hands, she gave a peck on her cheek.
"Thank you mum."
Cathy said, quickly drowning the hot coffee at once, quickly she walked to the bath and quickly threw some shower on her body.
When she left the bath, she saw her mum had already brought out a dress for her.
"Thanks mom, you are the best."
Cathy said, quickly wearing the dress, she threw on a pair of sandals to match with her purple gown, she never wore heels to school, stripping already took care of it.
"You look tired Cathy, work must have taken a toll on you."
Maggie said, walking towards her as she collected the brush from her hands, she combed her head softly, removing the tendrils that blocked her way.
"Mother, I keep telling you that I am so lucky to have you as my mom. Moreover, you never asked to be diagnosed with cancer. I am doing what you thought me to do, love and care and I am so glad you never found me to be disgusting because I strip."
Cathy said, hugging her mother tenderly.
"I love you too daughter. I kept some bacon for you on the table, just take at least a pieces."
Maggie said, watching as Cathy rushed to pick her bags and phone up.
"Sure mom I will, I won't miss your bacon for anything in the world."
Cathy said and quickly she left her room, she ran down the stairs in a hurry and as she promised her mom, she took piece of bacon before quickly diving to her car.
Cathy plunged her hands into the steering and she drove off.
She was five minutes late, Professor Ronald was not the type to accept such tardiness.
As she stepped into the lecture room, she was faced with Professor Ronald angry glare.
"Miss Clifford, you are five minutes late to my class, what excuse must have warrants such tardiness. Do you understand that this Is a very serious course for you to grasp so fully as a student who is trying to get a law degree."
Professor Ronald said, his big burglaries of an eyeglass which helped in making his demeanor more scary and professional almost made Cathy glare back at him.
She hated professors, more likely professors who think they are the best and without them they cannot graduate from law school but that was the awful truth.
"No one can graduate without them attending a lecture from a professor of the law."
"I am sorry Professor Ronald."
Cathy said, hoping he would gladly aak her to take a sit but she knew that was never going to happen unless she gave him a promise.
"Sorry is a statement which can come from the lips of a verified criminal..."
Cathy internally rolled her eyes at his choice of words.
"....so I want you to make a remorse declaration, that you will never be late for Constitutional Law and Civil Procedure course, ever again until you graduate from law school."
Professor Ronald said, watching as the Cathy twisted her fingers a little. Cathy stared at the professor, there was no way she can guarantee missing one minutes of her time over sleep.
"What's the catch Professor Ronald?"
Cathy asked, she needed to know what she was stepping into.
"The catch is you will have to repeat another year again, you will have a carry over and you will come back to meet your annoying Professor Ronald again."
Professor Ronald said, watching as Cathy gave him all his attention at his last words.
"OK then, I promise never to be late to class, especially your class."
Cathy said in a rush, the thought of repeating same class again and meeting same professor like professor Ronald scared her to death, she would not wish for an enemy to repeat a class with Professor Ronald, not even Abigail.
"Good then, now go take your chair. You do not plan standing there all day while I teach about humans rights and constitutional law."
Professor Ronald said, at his words, the entire class riffed off into laughter.
Cathy quickly walked to her sit, sitting down she brought out her notebook as she listened or maybe whiled away in thougts, every words Professor Ronald said seems to be sounding like a melody to her....
"....the systematic method of constitutional law in the early Philippines....."

Four hours later, Cathy walked towards her car, as she opened her car, ready to dump the heavy books on her hands, she heard a distant voice calling her name so loudly, it was Paige and Charlotte, her best friends, it was quite ironic to know that her two best loves law and they adore every inch of law but it is surprising to know that non of them respects the law.
Cathy waited for their presence till they are fully close to her.
"Professor Ronald was more like a dick today, creating his own terms."
Charlotte said, hugging her tightly. Caught smiled at her words, Charlotte was a stripper like her, they walked in the same club but something came up and she was not able to work last night.
"Hahahaha, mind your words, our best friend here is in love with him, we can't taint his image please."
Cathy said, watching as Paige gave them an ironic stare.
"He was quite a dick today though, he spoke to my best friend as if she was a child. He is a dick, no offense."
Paige said, raising her hands up to surrender.
"Non taken. So Charlotte, you working tonight in the club right?"
Cathy asked, watching as Charlotte beamed with excitement.
"Yes of cause, you haven't been informed yet..."
Charlotte asked, Cathy could figure out the glow that shone out Charlotte face, it was as if she had won a piece of cake.
"Nope..."
Cathy replied, just then, her phone vibrated and when she looked while was at the screen, it was her boss, it ws rare for the club boss to call by this time of the night.
"Hello Mr Damien."
Cathy said, watching as her friends stared at her with.....anticipation.
"There will be an important guest in the club, he is not a guest though because he owns most of the big clubs scattered around Los Angeles, including ours, the club you strip on. He loves the best and I expect all you girls to behave your best unless you do not want to see your jobs today, bye for now, prepare your very best and you will be given a different mask."
The voice from the other end of the phone said.
"Ok Mr Damien, I promise to give out my best."
Cathy said and when she hunged up the call, she stared at Charlotte and Paige.
"Is this what made you so excited?"
Cathy asked, watching as Charlotte beamed with a pain staking smile.
"Yep, it means this night is gonna be hot and I am not gonna loose my thousands of dollars this night. Who so ever is this mysterious client, he is heavily loaded with money and gold."
Charlotte said.
Paige smiled at her friend's excitement, she wasn't a stripper but she was not going to miss tonight's clubbing, Charlotte was making it sound so exciting already.
Cathy waved at Charlotte and quickly she gave her a hug, then doing the same for Paige.
She entered her car and drove off.
When she reached home, she hugged her mom quickly dashing to her room, she ripped off her drawers open, then slowly her hands landed on what she had been searching for, the most revealing lacy pants she had only seen a pornstar worn, just once and this type of panties was able to make any man go crazy with desires.
