They had seen firsthand how protective Queen Medusa was toward Chen Mo. Now, even Her Highness was siding with him. If they agreed to hand him over, wouldn't that be going against both the Queen and the Princess?

At that moment, Chen Mo, Yue Mei, and the others also sensed the approaching presences just outside the city walls. They looked up, their expressions turning grim.
Far outside the city walls, several hundred meters above ground, Han Feng and his group stopped mid-air.
"Queen Medusa, it's been a long time. How have you been?" Han Feng called out toward the "Queen Medusa" on the city wall. His voice dripped with mockery and venom.
Die blinked for a moment before realizing—he'd mistaken her for her sister.
So, imitating her sister's tone, she sneered coldly, "So it's just the defeated Alchemy Emperor Han Feng. I was wondering who was making all that noise."
"Heh heh," Yue Mei, Yin Shi, and the others chuckled mockingly. To be honest, at this moment, Her Highness truly resembled Queen Medusa.

He immediately noticed that Chen Mo was the only human among the snake-people.
"A human in white robes among snake-people... must be you, Chen Mo," Gold Elder said with a grin.
"Didn't know I was so famous," Chen Mo replied casually.
"A curious little fellow," Silver Elder laughed as well. "Shame you won't live long."
The similarity in their voices startled everyone.
Die instantly stepped in front of Chen Mo. "If you've got a problem, come at me!"
The Gold and Silver Elders merely smiled in response and looked toward their employer.
Han Feng had no patience for games. His tone turned cold and threatening:
"Queen Medusa, hand over the human behind you. Otherwise, your city will be drenched in blood tonight."
"You're welcome to try," Die's gaze turned icy. She would never allow anyone to harm Chen Mo.
"Then don't blame me for what happens next!" Han Feng roared, pointing at Chen Mo. "Take him!"
With the order given—
Tu Ye and Yuan Yi shot toward Chen Mo like lightning.
Die's expression turned cold. A pair of large, pale red wings burst forth from her back, and in an instant, she launched herself toward them like a streak of crimson light.
"Heh. Queen Medusa, your opponent is us," the Gold and Silver Elders grinned, intercepting Die mid-air.
"She's not Queen Medusa!"
Sensing the aura Die gave off, Han Feng's expression shifted. He finally realized something was wrong.
This wasn't the real Queen Medusa—she was far too weak.
Even her snake tail... was the wrong color.
So where was the real one?
Han Feng scanned the area sharply.
He wouldn't allow any unknown threats to slip by this time—not like last time, where he'd escaped in disgrace.
That's when his gaze caught sight of the radiant purple light flooding the skies deeper within the city.
"That is..." Han Feng's eyes narrowed. Then he suddenly burst out laughing.
"Heaven is on my side! Queen Medusa is evolving!"
He didn't know where the fake Medusa had come from, but if the real one was evolving...
Then taking out Chen Mo and seizing the Heavenly Flame would be a walk in the park.
"Gold and Silver Elders, she's not Queen Medusa. You don't need to fight her together."
Han Feng glanced toward Chen Mo, then ordered, "Gold Elder, Silver Elder, Sect Master Tu—leave the fake Medusa and the snake-people to you. Yuan Yi, come with me!"

Countless arrows and venomous spears tore through the skies.
A fierce battle broke out once again.
"You little brat—die already!" Han Feng's expression twisted. He blamed Chen Mo entirely for his previous failure.
Knowing how cunning this kid was, Han Feng didn't hold back. He attacked with full strength.
A torrent of azure Heavenly Flame burst forth from his body.
Wherever the flames passed—
They scorched the skies and condensed into a massive net of fire, engulfing everything as it descended upon Chen Mo.
