**Zion's POV**
**A month ago**
I have known about her breast cancer, the day I have decide to come back to the country and asked for the details of all employees.
I came back because of her. I had been doing the cross check on her before I had thought of returning back here.
Then, I knew that she has breast cancer. The moment I knew about it, I flew here as soon as possible.
I don't want to waste anymore time. I don't want to stay away from her. She is sick and I don't want her to suffer alone.
The company she is working isn't such a great company. I had the money where I could invest on and the company was currently on loss. I hit the iron right at that moment. Just to be with her.
Just to be with her, I returned back here. Just to suffer along with her, I came back to her. I know I am one the major reasons of her suffering and I don't want her to suffer anymore.
Selena is my dad's best friend daughter. We were like couple even before we were born. Our parents made that for us. When they moved to London I had less access to her and I never liked her the way my parents wanted me.
For a while, I had thought that I would move on with my life. But her innocent face and her teary eyes always used to flash in front of me, making me not being able to move on with life.
I was set to get married with Selena but I just couldn't do it.
I have made her clear that nothing could happen between us. I might never love her the way she wanted me to and I might never be able to give her as her husband but Selena was so into me.
I didn't want to hurt anyone. Not her, not me and not even Nan!
I left Selena with a letter and to her parents too that I won't be able to do what they wanted me to do. I never imagined Selena would be back here.
"Sir, we need to give the reports to employees. Can we tell her about her conditions now?" the company's doctor asked me a month ago.
"How long has it been? Is it quite long that she is suffering from this?" I asked.
"Yes, sir. The symptoms are quite invisible in the early stage as a result she might not have noticed but it has been long. Her cancer cells have already started to be in the lymph cells. She should so radial mastectomy as soon as possible," the doctor has suggested and he had referred Dr. Rivera's name to me.
"No!Please, don't tell her now. Let her live her life peacefully for now. I will decide when to tell her, please," I said.
I had stopped him from telling her the truth. I had told him to give some general physical reports of her which sounded normal to her but I don't think I can hide this anymore.
**Present time**
"Yes, doctor it would be great help if you could refer him to me," I ask the doctor.
Be assures me that he would get to him as soon as possible.
I walk out of his cabin and walk to her cabin where she is sleeping like a child, carefree and no worries.
She looks so much beautiful even on her sleep. I wish I could see her like this everyday and every night.
"Boss, aren't you going to have lunch?" Michelangelo asks me and we both walk to the cafeteria to have something.
"So, have you decided to tell her now? She should know about it. You can't always hide from her Zion?" he says.
I tap the table with my index finger. I always do this when I am nervous.
"I should tell her. But I don't know how should I? I am afraid that she would be hurt. I can't help her seeing her hurt," I say as I fold my hands and hide my fingers to calm them down.
"But it's already time. The more it will get the more complicated it will be. So, please, we have to do it quick," he says and I surely agree to him.
"I want her to know tonight. So, that she could do the surgery and live together with me," I say and smile looking at him.
I have to go to her room but I'm hell nervous. I don't know how am I going to tell her all of this thing.
When I look her through the glass window, I see her already awake and talking with nurse. She smiles as she takes in the pills the nurse hands in her hands.
I love the way she is smiling and gulping the medicines. She makes an awkward face creasing her facial muscles when she has the medicine.
"You food will be arriving soon. Please, don't forget to take these medicines after that. I will be coming after you are done with food to give you medicine," she informs but seems like she doesn't want her to return back.
"You're awake," I enter as the nurse walks out. She grins with so much of affection in front of me.
"I need to be on my brother's birthday tonight. He must be waiting for me," she says.
I say beside her and pull her closer to my chest.
"We will be going to his birthday but you have to promise me that you will take these medicines with you and have them accordingly," I say and she nods.
She has her lunch and then after having lunch, she cleans herself up.
"Do I look much pale? I don't want to show them I'm sick. I can't ruin my brother's day. He is so excited about it," she says and I nod.
"Yeah, you won't ruin it. We will have something to not show you pale. Alright!" I say and she agrees.
On the way, we stop in parlor and we do her makeover. She looks astonishingly beautiful with makeovers over her skin and the beautiful dress fitted on her body.
I can't stop of look at her continuously. We stop by to buy some cake on the way and get it back to home.
She looks so much excited.
She quickly rings the bell of her house as we reach there and her dad comes to greet us.
The place has been decorated so beautifully. The lights, decorations everything.
"Happy Birthday Nathan!" she shouts when she sees her brother and runs to hug him like a child.
