**Nancy's POV**
"Nancy!" My body feels a little hoped up when I hear Mia's voice. I quickly get up from my place and run to her to hug her firmly.
"What the hell happened Nancy?" she holds my face in her hands and engulfs me in her warm embrace.
"Zion...Kevin," I stutter with their names in my lips. I try to speak but the words are really hard to come out of my lips.
"It's fine. Let's get calmer first. Nothing is going to be alright with your tears. It's just your waste of energy," she pulls me in the bench there and I lean towards on her shoulders for a long time.
I don't know when I got asleep on her shoulders. When I wake up, she is still there patting my shoulders gently with her hands while her eyes are a resting.
I look at the operation theatre. It's been so long. It's been almost five hours they are there but still there is no news of then from doctors.
I had never thought, waiting for someone's life could be the most hardest thing to do ever.
The fear in each of your heartbeat is worst than the actual death itself when someone is inside that emergency operation theatre.
"Why are they taking too long?" I ask facing my face towards Mia.
"It's okay. They might be doing operations. Don't panic," she advises me.
My heart is beating so loudly and my whole body is so anxious. My fingers are shaking like hell along with my legs.
They are afraid than I could ever tell.
"Mia, it's been long," I say but she puts me in her shoulders and makes me to rest in her shoulder.
And nearly after six and half hours, they door. I quickly run towards first door that is opened in front of me.
"Doctor! Doctor!" I screamed on the door from where doctor is coming out. From the door of Kevin's emergency ward.
"Doctor, please, you need to tell me how he is? Is he okay? Is he alright?" I ask.
He stops on his way of walking and asks me.
"Are you his guardian?" he asks.
"I'm his girlfriend," I say.
This relationship is new. It was just started some hours ago. I became his girlfriend just some hours ago and this all happened like in some flash of time.
"Uhm... I'm afraid to say this miss but...," he said which made me sure of what I am thinking.
My tears bursts out of my eyes like fountain of water unlimitedly.
"Wait! You didn't even let me finish. He is in coma but yeah he is alive. We don't know how long his coma could last for. It might days, weeks or even months or even years. His injury is so severe that he might even never get up," he says.
My heart becomes joyous when I hear he is alive but it also contracts another minute when he tells me that he is in coma and for unlimited time.
How the hell could this happen?
"Mia, did you hear that? Did you hear Kevin is alive. He is alive but he is in coma," I laugh and cry at the same time.
"Can you please take care of her?" the doctor walks away from.
I stand there like a fool.
In some minutes, Kevin's parents come rushing in the hospital hallways.
They are anxious. They are worried.
"Uncle, Auntie!" I walk to them trying to hug them cause we both have lot his consciousness.
"How's he?" his mother asks.
I am speechless. What should I say to the mother of someone who has gone in coma?
"He is in coma auntie," Mia speaks.
His mother tears out severely with a loud sobs.
"I am sorry. I am really sorry auntie. This is all because of me. This is all because of me," I kneel down and beg for sorry.
She is so angry with me that her hands rests next moment on my cheeks with the loud sound in the whole hospital hallways.
"He loved you all his life. He protected you but you couldn't even look after my son for a single day. You're a complete bad luck. You're a misfortune to every people around you," she says in aggression.
"Eliza, stop," Kevin's dad tries to stop her but she doesn't.
"Excuse me? Guardian of patient of Mr. Kevin Smith," a nurse calls in.
" We're here," they rush to the ward leaving me alone out there.
They enter inside but I stay outside the door looking at Kevin, connected with so many pipes wired all over his body. His face is barely visible and his whole body is on cotton.
He looks so miserable that I cannot look at him.
The doctor in the next emergency ward comes out.
Mia walks to him.
"Are you his guardian?" he asks.
"No, she is," she points out to me.
I am not his fucking guardian.
"I need to talk to you," he says and calls me in his cabin.
I wonder why no one from Zion's side reach the hospital till now. Where's his dad and mom?
"I am his guardian doctor," a man of nearly same as of our age, in black suit and navy blue tie appears in front of us and walks towards the cabin.
They come out after some half an hour. He looks sad.
My heart wants to ask him loudly if he is alright but it's being reluctant and I don't know what is the reason.
"Miss Nancy Williams?" he asks me as he sees me.
"You know me?" I ask with my swollen eyes.
He nods.
"Can I please talk to you?" He asks.
We walk to the corner of the hospital room.
"Miss Nancy, I am afraid, Mr. Zion is on coma. I know he is a strong man and he will wake up one day. But till then, can you please take care of him?" he pleads.
I widen my swollen eyes.
"Why me? Also, I have someone to take care of. I don't have time to see him," I try to walk away from him.
"Because, you're the only one related to him, closely," he says.
I don't understand him.
"Yes, you are the only one who could take care of him. He is relativeless. He needs you right now," he says.
