/Amber's pov/
"Hello, Mike. Good morning. Breakfast?” My mother presented, a loaf of bread in her hand.
He nodded, an appreciative smile on his face. "Of course, Sarah, it would be fantastic." He came up behind me and threw his arms around me. "Hey there, Angel. "I was thinking about you last night," he said.
I couldn't help but giggle when I heard my mother 'awn' gently. "Oh, you were, weren't you?" My hand slapped his palm as he slid his hand from in front of me to behind me beneath the counter.
He chuckled and came to take up a position beside me. "Without a doubt, I was. The previous night, I enjoyed spending time with you in bed. Hopefully, your mother will agree to let me stay with you from now on," he continued, gazing at my mother with optimism.
"Don't push it, Mike," she said, a smirk appearing on her face.
He burst out laughing. "Hey, it was worth a try!" he said as he brushed my hair behind my ears and looked at her with a tinge of embarrassment in his eyes.
"You've always been a little cocky," my mother said, a smile on her face as she placed three pieces of bread in front of him.
"I was just questioning Jake about his infatuation with Kate," I said to Mike, hoping to divert the conversation away from my sex life and the fact that he was sleeping in my bed. On the subject of Jake and Kate, I'd talked with Mike the previous night. He said that he had not observed anything, but that he would keep an eye out for him today for me.
"You are not having feelings for a sixteen-year-old, are you Jake?" The question is, "What the heck type of eighteen-year-old would look at a sixteen-year-old in that way?" Jakes' statements from a few weeks ago were used to elicit a feigned astonishment from Mike.
Jake gave him a stern warning with his gaze. "Haha, that's funny. "You two are really funny," he murmured, shaking his head as he walked away to get dressed. "You two are absolutely hilarious."
When we pulled into the school parking lot, there was a large group of people gathered around Josh's car. It appeared as though he was standing awkwardly and looking extremely uncomfortable as a group of boys talked to him about his car and a group of girls flirted shamelessly with him in an apparent attempt to get him into the back of their vehicle. Jessica was at the front of the line, as she always was.
We have some great whores at this school, I've got to say!" I spoke in hushed tones to Mike.
He nodded, his expression displeased. “Yep.”
"Perhaps you should go over and assist him. "He seems to be in a lot of discomforts," I remarked, pleadingly looking Mike in the eyes.
He looked at me with a sigh and a smirk on his face. After softly kissing me on the lips, he walked away in the direction of Josh's vehicle. "Why do you have to be so damn sweet all the time?" he said. I stood there and watched as he waved his hand in a buzz-off motion, prompting half of the lads to leave the room. He wrapped his arm over Josh's shoulder, a smile on his face as he walked him away from the mob and towards the school, while Josh gazed gratefully in his direction. As I thought about how I really did have the most gorgeous guy on the planet, a grin appeared on my face.
Kate walked over to me without saying anything. "Can you tell me where your sexy ass of a brother is?" she demanded. Jake swallowed hard and cleared his throat behind her. She smiled at him as she turned around. When she realized she had misspoken, she winked at him and said, "Sorry, I should have said, hot ass of stepbrother."
His brows were drawn together, but he immediately recovered and smirked. "You've finally realized I'm not interested, but you're still trying to get in with the family, aren't you?" He was playing a joke on himself.
She burst out laughing. "Something along those lines. "Perhaps I've simply become tired of blondes, or maybe you've lost your mojo," she responded, a sneer on her face as she looked him in the eyes. I was laughing so hard that I nearly choked on it. I could see Jake enjoyed the thrill of the chase; he'd never desired someone he couldn't have before, and I honestly believe he wanted Kate now just because she wasn't interested in him before. Once inside, I saw Mike and Josh having a conversation against his locker, so I pulled her inside.
"Hey," I said as I threw my arm around Mike's waist, a friendly smile on my face.
"Hey, Amber. How are you doing?" "How are you feeling today?" Josh inquired in a kind manner.
"I'm doing well. You?” I questioned, trying not to chuckle as Mike's fingers crept down the back of my trousers, caressing his palm over the back of my ass in a gentle manner.
"I'm in excellent shape." He agreed with a nod of his head. Kate, who was sitting next to me, was smiling seductively at him.
When I began to speak, Mike interjected, gently squeezing my ass. "I was just telling Josh about ice hockey," Mike said. As I elbowed him in the ribs, I wore a sweet smile on my face. Pervert boy, you're the worst! I could hear him chuckling as he pulled his hand out of my jeans.
"Yeah, I'll be at the game on Friday, do you think I'd be able to sit with you?" Josh inquired, casting a hopeful glance my way.
"You're welcome to come to sit with me if you'd like," Kate said, licking her lips gently as she examined him from every angle.
'I'm blushing,' he said, smiling timidly at her. “Thanks. "That sounds good to me," he said gently.
When I said "come on then, let's go to class," I meant it with a sigh and a roll of eyes. The two of them were definitely going to have a good time because, judging by the expression on Kate's face, she wasn't going to stop until he was hers, and he seemed to enjoy her as well. It was then that I saw Jessica approaching with a defiant look on her face and I decided to turn around and walk away. I almost felt like she was throwing a brown package into my hands as she scowled at me.
"I still believe you cheated, but the majority of people believe it is only fair that you get the money, so there you have it, Emo bitch," she snarled viciously.
Wow, what a disaster! Do you mean to tell me she just gave me more than four thousand dollars? Did I win the money?
Kate took a step closer to me. Then she screamed violently, "You better back the hell off before I make you," Jessica said.
I couldn't help but grin. The situation is OK, Kate; there is no concern. "Thank you very much, Jessica," I exclaimed, proudly holding the envelope in front of me.
"Make sure you don't lose it," she said, a sneer on her face as she said this.
With no question in my mind, she had devised some type of scheme that most likely entailed my flushing this money down the toilet or burning the money on fire in some way. Instantaneously, I had a brilliant idea that I knew would make her really unhappy. As I turned to face Mike, I had a happy smile on my face. With my full hand pushed down the front of his pants, I came up close to him and put the money down the front of his jeans too. Mike groaned and stared at me as if I was crazy.
"Please take care of things for me, boyfriend." It will come out later," I whispered suggestively as I dragged him down to kiss me on the mouth and neck. I heard others applauding and clapping, as well as men saying things like 'oh yes' and 'great.' With my lips pressed against his, I grinned and drew back. I just made it there in time to see Jessica storming off in the other way. I was shocked.
I broke out laughing, and Mike grabbed me by the shoulders and kissed me again, lifting me off the ground. When the bell sounded, individuals began to make their way to their respective courses. I stayed behind with Mike since I didn't want to break up the kiss. That I earned four thousand bucks is unbelievable to me. What in the world am I supposed to do with that?
A huge smile appeared on his face as he gently placed me back onto my feet. "That was so funny, her face was like a picture," he exclaimed, bursting into laughter.
"Your face was a picture," I responded, lightly stroking the bridge of his nose.
