JENNY'S POV
"What the hell do you think you're doing?" The kitchen door barged open as I saw the least person I was expecting. It was Josh and he seemed to have overheard my conversation with Clara as there was obvious anger in his eyes.
I understand he loves the prince and is only being loyal to him but I feared he might rat me out since he loves the prince almost more than he loves his life.
"Nothing, just taking the food to Lenora " I casually replied in an attempt to play it off in case he didn't hear anything.
"Stop with your pretense, I know you've put something in her food, I saw you and you're working with her mother?" He spat in disgust and I knew I was done for.
He was going to report me to the prince and the prince won't definitely take it lightly with me, only the moon goddess knows what might become of me afterwards.
"I'm so ashamed of you right now!" Josh sneered as he turned his back to leave the kitchen but I couldn't let him leave, not like this if he leaves my presence then not only would my plan be ruined but the prince would do some horrible things to me.
"Josh, wait!" I called out his name and he surprisingly waited but I could feel his muscles being tensed. I had no explanation to give and nothing to say to him.
I couldn't try to fight him as I knew he would easily knock me to the ground and that would only make everything worse so I needed to think smart. He's a man afterwards and I've seen the way he looks at me most of the time.
"You can't tell the prince or anyone else about this Josh '' I pleaded as I walked towards him with my hands slowly snaking itself around his waist from behind. He seemed to have reacted to my touch and I knew I was doing the right job.

Luckily, she was still asleep so I had left the food beside her bed as I watched her sleep peacefully without knowing the amount of poison that was in her and that she was slowly dying.

"Jenny!" A gruff voice called outside my room and I recognised it as being Josh's voice so I instantly opened the door for him to come In.

"I didn't tell the Prince " He said with his eyes still locked on mine.
