Chapter 4
Nathalie
When I am alone my past will always flashback on my mind. Although I wanted to forget it the moment I close my eyes. It will always appear in my mind and my memories.
Lance is my first kiss, the first of my all but he is not my boyfriend.
That is why I am not happy with what I did before.
Maybe it's because I am young and innocent during that time and think that what I did will be passed as the days go by.
But I'm wrong! The past always hunted me that I find it difficult to sleep at night.
And now that I am alone in this cold room of mine.
The memories from the past are still fresh and I always remember.
Flashback
"No way Dad! I only have one Mom. I don't like her! How could you do this to my Mom?" I ask him crying.
My Dad brought his girlfriend to our house and told me that they are getting married. And I have this gut feeling that he is cheating with my Mom and now that she is gone. He will bring that woman into our house. Never! I will never accept her no matter what.
"Nathalie, you're overreacting! I told you that she is not my Mistress. I am happily in love with your Mom before and now she's gone and I found Clara and fell in love with her. Could you just accept the fact and accept her too?" My Dad is full of emotions while explaining it to me.
But my heart is already close to that.
I only want my mom and nothing else.
"I'm sorry Dad, but I can't accept that marriage of yours." Then my tears fall as I run and walked away.
My Dad pushes his marriage to Clara and that day I stowaway. I don't want to witness my dad being happy with the other woman.
I don't know where to go. I left my car and just continue to walk. But I brought my wallet with me. Just in case I will be hungry then, I can eat.
While walking I saw a disco club. And there are so many people waiting in line.
Is there a concert?
Out of curiosity, I bought a ticket and decided to watch it.
This is the best way to ease my pain. And music can help heal my broken heart.
When ai finally went inside I was amazed to see the amazingly beautiful club.
Not bad.
My ticket is in the front row. I wanted to see the concert clearly and hopefully, I will enjoy it later.
There are many young girls like me holding a light stick.
Maybe the band is famous as the whole stage is full.
The lights went off then a fat man appeared in the middle.
"Are you ready Angels?" He shouted.
Then the girls wave their light sticks.
"Yes, we are ready! Go Omega Band. Omega Angels are here. Woohhhhh!"
The girls shouted that almost broke my eardrum. The girls are all excited.
Although it's noisy I am enjoying the hyper young audiences of this so-called Omega Band. And I am young too. So I will enjoy this night also.
The fat man climb down the stage and there they are the Omega Band! 5 young handsome boys went up the stage.
Their instrument is complete from piano to guitar. The other one is very good at violin too. But the singer caught my attention as I didn't expect him to wink at me.
Just WTF? And he is very handsome!
My heart skip a beat and I don't know why. His voice is so cool and had a good singing voice.
And now he is walking towards me?
I don't know what to do. Well, just let him be.
Let's wait for what he is planning to do.
Then he stops in my seat and offers me his hand.
The girls are shouting happily.
They are saying to me to accept his hand.
Go, Girl!!! They shouted in chorus.
Then let's go singer boy.
We climb on the stage while he continued singing with the tune of Nothing's gonna change my love for you.
Looks like he is serenading me while holding my hand.
And I started to feel attracted to him.
It's the first time you met him and you like him already? Don't be a flirt!
I looked into his beautiful eyes then he wink at me again.
And I almost drop my heart!
Sounds overreacting but that's how I felt as of that moment.
The concert has ended with excitement.
At least I forgot my Dad's wedding and I felt happy.
Now where to go next?
I'm hungry, so I look for the nearest restaurant.
And saw the chicken wingers and it looks clean and delicious.
But unfortunately, something happened. I can't buy the food.
My wallet is not in my pocket anymore!
It was gone. Somebody stole it!
What I'm gonna do now? I'm so hungry. My stomach started aching too.
I stow away and didn't eat anything until now.
Then my lucky charm arrives. It's the singer boy! I saw them at the end table.
I throw away my pride and walked towards their table.
The singer boy was surprised and thanked God that he remember me.
"It's you! At the concert right?"He asked happily.
"Yes, Can I talk to you for a moment?" I shamelessly asked.
I wanted to talk with him in private.
We went to the corner where there are no people.
"What's this? I'm curious Miss Beautiful." He said smiling.
His smile Is like a magnet that pulled me towards him that I cannot explain.
"Ah, I'm sorry for disturbing you but can I borrow some money? I ask feeling ashamed.
It's now or else I will die in hunger.
He chuckled."Okay, how much? He asked.
Wow, that fast?
"This is what happened. I lost my wallet and I'm hungry. Just a piece of chicken wings will do." I answer shyly.
He just laughed at me.
"I thought that this was something serious! Let's go to our table and you can eat whatever you like." He said smiling.
At this moment there's no time to be ashamed!
I joined their table and I eat five chicken wings hehe.
"Thank you very much. I'll better go." And I said goodbye to them.
I felt alright as my stomach is not aching anymore.
But where should I go?
I don't have money anymore huhu.
"You're welcome, but it's still early. Why don't you join us? You know singing while drinking hehe." Singer Boy trying to be cute.
I'll go with them. I'm willing and determined to run away and never look back.
And thanks to Singer Boy and his friends I forgot my problems.
We went to a Videoke House.
And I sing with all my heart until my voice became hoarse.
Singing, dancing, and drinking. I finally experienced the feeling of being free and away from my comfort zone.
And I'm enjoying this!
I am a quiet girl and obedient to my family.
Home and school is the only place I wanna be.
I'm 18 years old and didn't even hang out with my college friends.
And now it's a new world to me!
I can finally call that I'm young, wild, and free.
I got drunk and wasted on this day. As well as Singer Boy and his friends.
We are very happy.
Then it's time to go home.
How can I go home?
I decided to go away then I will not go back.
"Miss Beautiful, it's time to say goodbye. Where do you leave? And I will give you a ride" Singer Boy offered a ride.
He's very kind. I felt touched and he looks more handsome in my eyes during that time.
"Ah, Can I spend a night in your house?" I ask shyly.
It's all or nothing!
I need a temporary shelter to sleep on.
"What? Don't tell me, that you ran away?" He asked laughing.
"Oo," I answered shortly.
He stopped laughing the moment she saw that I'am serious.
"Oh, okay. Come on let's go to my Condo." He said then we both went to the parking lot where his car is parking.
I don't know what's waiting on me, tomorrow and in the future. But, as of now, I decided not to go back to our house. I'm still angry and frustrated with my Dad's marriage.
All I know is I'm happy when I'm with Singer Boy...
