Bad Dream
Natasha.
I yawned as I stirred out of sleep, stretching on the bed. The sun was shining brightly so I must have slept for a long time.
It was Saturday so I didn't have to drag Dante to work. Just because he's CEO doesn't mean he shouldn't go to the office to attend to documents or manage how things are going.
I reached for my phone, charging on the table next to my bed, and unplugged it. I switched it on and dropped it again when there were no notifications.
I climbed down from the bed and I took off my dress quickly. I was already running late and I promised to go shopping with Kara.
I had my bath quickly and changed into a blue blouse and black pants.
I walked to the dressing mirror and packed my hair into a bun. I stared at myself in the mirror as I applied light lipstick.
I flinched as I saw my reflection in the mirror change for a split second. It was still me, but my lips were a darker shade of red, my hair was longer and the tips were dyed in a dark blue color.
I sighed and dropped the lipstick on the table.
I had a bad feeling about manifesting as The Tribrid, but I wanted to. I can't possibly wait to be scared before manifesting as the Tribrid.
I sighed loudly and closed my eyes.
I didn't know what I was doing, I just wanted to put my mind out there and find anything that can help me.
There was nothing but darkness and then the faces of my Vampire replica. Her face flashed in my head repeatedly, and at an unstable rate.
Her face stopped showing and the next instant, it was another face that popped up this time.
I gasped and my eyes shut open. Bastien.
I breathed heavily, resting my hands on the dressing table.
Bastien?
Why am I seeing Bastien's face?
I was so confused so I decided to go back in. I closed my eyes, breathing in deeply as I pushed my mind out into the darkness again.
The darkness continued for a while before I began to hear distant voices.
They all started as inaudible mumbles before gradually getting clearer.
"We are here."
I kept on listening, having a bad feeling about whatever this was.
"The bombs are set in place," the same voice said and I gasped.
Bombs?! Where?!
"Good. I want to hear the pack go boom," a different male voice said this time, and my eyes opened immediately.
I panted and moved away from the mirror.
I think my mind just found a conversation in the pack.
I have to stop this.
I ran out of the room quickly and closed the door. All of a sudden, I heard a loud deafening sound and I almost fell to the ground from the shock.
I covered my ears as I heard another loud blasting, followed by the cries of pain and agony, screams for help, and helpless struggles.
My mind was unstable and I could pick up every sound. I could feel the emotions behind every sound too.
Where was Dante? I couldn't sense his mind. I sensed Nathan and he was in pain too.
Pain, anger, desperation, agony.
Every single emotion of everyone out there filled my head and I held on to my head, groaning in pain.
Tears trickled down my face as my breathing tensed. I looked up as the entrance door flung open and I saw the bottom of a long purple robe.
I slowly raised my head so I could see the face of the man before........
I gasped as I jerked up from my bed, panting heavily.
I looked around and saw that I was in my room. It was a dream, I sighed in relief.
I wasn't fully relieved though, my dreams always have a way of manifesting so something bad might happen.
I unplugged my phone and I switched it on. I had a message from Kara.
No, several messages.
Kara; Natasha, I'm ready.
Kara: No, I've been reading since morning
Kara: Oh my god, I'm so nervous right now.
Kara: Natasha?
Kara: Are you there?
Kara: Your silence is making me feel so nervous right now.
So Kara is supposed to be having a date with a guy she met on Tinder. She said she's had a really bad dating history and I told her to quit hooking up with guys on Tinder.
They are mostly fake.
She doesn't have a dress she thinks is good enough so I'm supposed to go shopping with her.
I looked up at the time and sighed, I'm supposed to meet her in the next 30 minutes.
Natasha: I'll be there soon.
Natasha: Calm down.
Immediately after I sent the replies, my phone buzzed.
Kara: Oh. Okay.
Kara: I thought you wouldn't be able to make it.
Natasha; I'll be there.
I dropped my phone and climbed down from the bed.
I took my bath quickly and I walked to my closet to choose cloth.
I would have naturally picked this blue blouse and black pants, I planned to, but I remembered the dream I had and I avoided it.
I went for a white blouse and grey pants instead.
I walked to the mirror and instead of packing my hair into a bun, I packed it into a ponytail.
I looked at the lipstick and shook my head, refusing to use it. I used a lip gloss instead and spayed my perfume.
I picked up my handbag and gulped, moving away from the mirror.
As soon as I'm done with Kara, I have to do something about that dream.
I dropped my phone in my bag and walked out of the room, shutting the door. As I walked out, I saw Dante approach me from his room and I gulped nervously remembering how he kissed me yesterday.
I always imagined that moment, but it felt nothing like I wanted it to be. It felt desperate and empty of the right emotions.
I remembered the dream I had again and thought that I should let him know so he can start doing something about it before I go.
"Dante, I need to talk to you."
"Natasha. I need to talk to you."
