"What's with your power today?" Fred my trainer protested
"Again" I said and he stopped
"We did this 2 hours straight" He sighed
"Again Fred"
"Change with me" I turned to see Daniel waiting at the side
"Go train something else" I hissed
"Your mood dropped after seeing your ex, geez. Stupid relationship" He shook his head
"Shut up before I punch you" I said coldly
"Ex?" Fred asked and I punched him without him defending. Fred looked at me disbelief
"Idiot," Cailey said from the side and I walked out from the ring. I took my boxing gloves off and walked to the shooting section
"Stress out?" My dad asked and I didn't answer him
"What happened?" My dad asked him to take the gun from me. I looked at him coldly
"I don't want to talk about it dad"
"Well you took a week off so you need to tell me the reason why?" He asked
"I'll get back to work tomorrow"
"Go to LA tomorrow" He stated and I looked at him disbelief
"Funny" I hissed as I took my gun from him again
"Don't regret it later on, I was like you when I met your mom. Glad that I decided quickly or else I'll be regretting until now and you won't be born" He said and I ignored it
"Shut it dad, I don't need your lecture right now"
"Everytime I look at you, I look at myself in the mirror. You need a push just like me or else you will regret it" He patted my shoulder and left. I sighed. I put my gun down and decided to go home to rest. I'm done for today
"Where are you going?" Joan asked
"Home" I said and I walked out from the base, got into my car and drove home. I got home instantly and walked into the house. I heard my mom squealed and I automatically ran to the kitchen
"Again?" She cut her hand again for the thousand times
"Well don't tell your dad" She said and I pulled her hand to the sink and poured it with water. I told her to stay there and I pulled out a bandage from the drawer
"What are you making mom? This is a mess?" I asked as I looked through the kitchen
"Your dad and Lauren's favorite, beef steak" She said and I put the bandage to her
"You cut your finger for the thousand times and I agree with that to throw all the knifes here" I hissed and she smiled
"Can't believe my son has grown up, you and your dad are a complete clone"
"Let me help, what do you want me to cut?" I asked and she asked me to cut the potatoes. She sat in front of me as I cut the vegetables
"So what happened yesterday? You didn't come home and I was worried" She asked
"Nothing"
"You're with Taylor huh?" She asked
"Don't bring that up again mom, I'm not in the mood to talk about it" I said
"You're a really good boy and I'm proud of you but when you deal with love, you're the dumbest. Just like your dad"
"Thanks for the compliment mom" I said sarcastically and looked at her. She crossed her arms in front her of heat and glared at me
"So what happened yesterday? Tell me so I can help you"
"Don't be like dad, I don't want to talk about this mom" I hissed
"Don't give me that tone Christian Hastington" She said coldly
"I ruined the relationship mom"
"You regret it?" She asked
"Of course, what kind of question is that?"
"You want her back?"
"She didn't give me a chance"
"Then you should prove her that you want her back"
"Last night I told her hat it will be the last night for us to spend time together and I changed my mind that I want her back but she doesn't want it. I can't force her"
"She might say that but she still wants you Christian. All you need is a little push, come on don't give up just now" She said and I raised my eyebrows
"She doesn-"
"Then give up, don't be mad and jealous when she's in someone else's arms" She cut me and hissed coldly
"Why are you mad at me now?"
"I can't believe I have a son and a husband who acts the same" She sighed
"Well thanks for the compliment mom"
"Did you cut your hand again?" My dad entered suddenly
"No" She hid her hands behind her
"I'll make sure every knife in this room is gone by tomorrow. You already cut your hands a thousand times" He sighed
"What?!" I asked since my mom glared at me and my dad
"What did I do?" My dad asked too
"You both are idiots"
"Hailey.. What did I do this time?"
"You gave him your genes" She said and I sighed
"I mean he's my son" My dad looked at me and I facepalmed myself. I finished cutting the vegetable fast so I can get out from this parents lecture
"Unbelievable" My mom looked at him disbelief
"Go to LA and fix it"
"Mom, I'm not a 10 years old boy again, I made my own decision. Don't tell me what to do. It's my love life" I hissed
"Don't give your mom that tune Christian Hastington" My dad said coldly
"I'm outta here" I said and left the kitchen. I walked up to my room and threw myself to bed. I looked up at the ceiling and thought about Taylor again.
What am I supposed to do now? Should I go to LA and win her back? Will I regret everything if I don't get her now?
I realized how important she was for me last night and I don't want to let her go but she didn't want to give me a chance.
Oh fuck it!
I never listen to people and I won't listen to Taylor about her not wanting to give me a chance!
I need to be more selfish this time
"Prepare me a jet to LA tomorrow morning" I said to my secretary
