"Don't go please" He held my wrist and I turned to him
"Christian Hastington begged, isn't it amazing?" I said sarcastically
"You're going to be sick, at least take a shower here and change your clothes. I'll drop you home after that" He said in a really soft tone
"Alfonso was right, you're a big trouble for me. I went instantly for you when he was chasing me for years" His eyes darkens
"Look, I was wrong. I'm sorry"
"Sorry won't change anything, we broke up and that's it. What exactly do you want? We get back together? Friends with benefits? Use me and throw me again? What do you want this time?"
"You broke up with me because of your selfishness Christian, I don't want to repeat the pain that I got 4 months ago" I added and he pulled me closer to him. He wrapped his arms around my body hugging me
"I'm sorry, I regretted it," He said and I pushed him away. i looked straight to his eyes and sighed
"Just find someone else" I turned my body to the door but he back hugged me
"Can you please stay here for tonight? One last time.. I'll let you go after that" He said and my heart beat so fast
"One last time? You won't disturb me again?" I asked, I wanted him to try again but he wanted this for one last time. I wanted to cry so bad
"Yeah. One last time, stay with me here tonight" He said and I turned my body to him. We both looked at each other and it was so visible that we missed each other but hurt each other at the same time.
"You don't know how much I miss you.." He caressed my cheek with his thumb and I just stayed silent. He suddenly crashed his lips to mine and it immediately went intense.
He cupped my face and kissed me deeper. He picked me up and I clinged my legs to his waist. This will lead like 2 years ago. I can't believe this.
He brought me to his room and laid me on his bed. He suddenly stopped and his eyes stuck on me.
"Take a shower, I'll give you my clothes" He said and he got off me. I got up and it was suddenly awkward. He gave me a towel and his shirt. I walked into the bathroom and looked at myself at the mirror.
What am I thinking until I agree with this? I know it's not over between us and I'm tired of having these feelings alone.
One last time? How can he ask that?
I got into the shower and took a warm shower. It's making me really calm and feel better. I quickly took a shower so he could take a shower too since he was drenched too.
I looked at myself at the mirror and sighed. I dried my hair with a towel first and then a hairdryer. I walked out of the bathroom and found Christian already changed into comfortable clothes. I assumed that he'd already taken a shower.
I walked to the bed and sat beside him. He linked his hands with me and he looked at it. It's better that we just stay silent. We missed each other and this is the only way to solve it for the last time.
I slipped my arm to his hip and leaned my head to his shoulder. None of us talked and it was comfortable. The fact that I can hear his heartbeat and his breathing give me a really comforting feeling. He kissed the top of my head
"Your body temperature is hot, you have fever" He suddenly said and I just closed my eyes
"Taylor.."
"Let it be" I answered
"Let me get you a warm towel and a medicine" He wanted to get up but I held him
"Just stay here" I said
"Before coming to New York, I got a customer who asked me to make her a dress for her engagement. At first, I didn't feel confident in making it since I never made a dress for that kind of occasion before but I did. I made it and it was beautiful" I started and I caressed his hand
"When we dated, we never shared anything about our lives a lot. We only asked about what did we do, what did we eat, who did we meet.. but we never share things like this. I always wondered why you wanted to date me? Because you pity me or because you really like me?" I asked and held his hand tightly
"I think it's better that you have your freedom now but I beg you to stop hurting other girls' hearts. Imagine one day your daughter will be treated by someone like that. You won't want that right?" I said and Christian didn't say anything. He just stayed silent
"Let me get you warm tea" He got up from the bed and he walked out from the room. I sighed and felt tears come out from my eyes. I decided to pull the blanket to my body and wrapped it around me tightly.
Tonight will be the last night that I will spend with Christian. I'll miss him for sure. I wished I could tell him that I would never regret whatever happened to us. It was beautiful and it was a really memorable one but we can't continue this.
I wiped my tears and laid down on his bed. I inhaled his scent trying to remember everything about him in one night so that I can cherish it later on when I miss him.
I wanted to cry so bad but I needed to hold it.
My eyes were heavy, It slowly closed and I slowly drifted to sleep
