"She what?!" I bursted at my secretary disbelief
"She canceled it" She repeated and I looked at the clothes in front of me
"Block her and never take her order again. She already canceled 5 times and made me re-do it again. I had enough" I said leaving my work and walked into my office. I took a deep breath and drank my coffee in one shot
"I had enough of her. I had enough" I said to myself and tried to calm myself up. I took my bag and walked out from my office
"Let's rest and wrap everything up for today!" I said to my employees. I got into the lift and leaned back. I have a lot of stress these days because of work. I have no rest and these days a lot of people are getting married and it pisses me off.
Couples were walking around, couples were getting married and here I am. Damn single!
Just my luck maybe
I got out from the lift and took my car key from the valet chauffeur. I needed a drive so bad, my work was piling and there's no end soon. So no vacation these days
I put a Despacito song on the speaker and jam in. I love this song and it makes my mood rise up immediately. I went for a drive and it's been awhile since I do this. There's nothing better than taking healing time alone. Just you..
I stopped as the red light lit up. I leaned back to my seat when suddenly the car behind me crash my car. My head hit the steering wheel because the crash was quite hard.
I took off my seatbelt and opened the car door. I walked out from the car and my head was so dizzy. I hit my steering wheel so hard.
I turned to see a bulky guy who crashed my car out from his car. His face was so intimidating and he looked at me like he's going to kill me or something. I walked to the back of my car and can't believe it's damage big time
Today is just my luck
"What are you going to do with this?" I asked and he looked at me glaring
"You're the one press the brake suddenly" He said and I raised my eyebrows
"I stopped my car 5 minutes ago and you blamed me?" I asked and started to get pissed. I put my hands on my waist glaring at him hard
"So you think I was making this up?" He bursted
"Let's check the CCTV you bulky ugly man" I hissed and he looked at me angrily
"It's completely your fault, you're still doubting it?" He bursted crazily and the police came in time. They cleared the street and I turned to the policeman.
"He crashed me, you can check the CCTV"
"Okay miss, calm down. What's your name miss?"
"Taylor Portwalt" I said still glaring at the man
"How about you sir?"
"Paul Sed" He answered
"So please tell us the complete story" I began telling him the story and the old bulky man told his. He's completely making up the story. I'm tired and can kill people this instant
"Check the CCTV sir" I said to the policeman and he nodded
"We'll check that" I smirked and the bulky man's face paled. The policeman left and suddenly the bulky man sighed
"Why do you lie?" I asked bravely
"Because I don't have money and my wife's in the hospital now" My eyes widen as he bursted out
"How can I trust you with that?" I asked and he pulled out his phone giving me his message with his son. I gasped seeing the text. His wife will have her ring replacement in her heart. She was waiting for him to arrive first. I sighed
"I don't have time" He begged at me and his face became more and more. He was flustered earlier and he was mad because he was thinking about his wife
"Taylor, What happened here?" I turned to the side and my eyes widen to see Christian standing there. What the heck is he doing here?
"Who are you?"
"Her fiance, I was eating inside that restaurant when I saw my fiance's car" Chris said to the bulky man. I looked at him disbelief
"I'm sorry" The bulky man said
"I will repay and do as the law said but please let me send my wife to have her surgery first" The bulky man said to me begging and I looked at him nodding
"Keep the car here and you can go" I said
"Taylor.. what?" Christian held the bulky man
"Let him go Christian, I'll explain you later" I pulled his hand from gripping the oldman
"I'm sorry and thank you!" He said to me and ranaway. The policeman ran to him and I held them. I told them the real story and one team of policeman decided to follow him
"How can you let him go?" Chris asked and I turned to him
"What are you doing here? Pretending to be my fiance? What the hell!" I asked and he raised his eyebrows
"I saw you from that restaurant. So I knew what happen when I saw your car"
"This is my business, so don't butt into my business" I said and I planned to talk to the police but Christian held my wrist
"Who are you?" The policeman asked
"Oh he's my fr-"
"Fiance" Christian cut and I turned to him in horror. The policeman nodded and he asked for my data to proceed with the case. After that I need to wait for the oldman to come back. I stood on the side and Christian stood beside me. I felt so uncomfortable about his presence
Especially after that night.. that we shared 2 years ago
"It's been 2 years, how are you?" Christian asked starting the conversation but I really don't want to have a conversation with him
"Just go, will you? This is my business" I said coldly to him but he didn't answered me nor walked away
"Still feisty and hate me huh? Even after that night?" He asked, smirking but he's face was not facing me. He looked straight as I looked at him disbelief
"What night? You're talking nonsense" I laughed it off
"Thought so.. You will pretend not to remember it" Damn it!
