I'm back in New York again at last, I just went to Paris for one week to refresh my head. I walked out from the airport and found Clara and Nial. I waved at them and ran to them. I hugged them both.
"What happened to your face?"
"Just fought with someone when I was drunk." Nial said and I raised my eyebrows.
"Did someone try to touch you?" I asked Clara.
"He's drunk and messing around with a big dude."
"Well you're a damn idiot."
"So.. welcome back to New York."
"Yeah.. as I arrive, I have to attend a freaking launching party." I hissed.
"Me too, not only you."
"Well.. I guess it will be fun." Clara said.
"No fun.. it's boring but we have to attend it." I sighed and Nial helped me with my luggage.
"So.. what do you want to eat? I'm damn hungry." Clara said.
"I want pizza."
"Pizza for lunch it is.. Let's go." We walked towards Nial's car.
"Late lunch.. it's 3."
"I don't want to go.." I said as I got into the car. I closed my eyes because I'm damn tired and need a lot lot lot of sleep. I slept along the way to the restaurant. Clara woke me up and I got out of the car. We walked into the restaurant and caught up by talking for 2 hours.
After that me and Nial have to go to a launching party. He and Clara dropped me home. I greeted my family first and then went straight to the shower. I took a quick shower and dried my hair. I put my make up as fast as I could and put on my black backless dress. I put on my high heels and walked downstairs.
"Looking good.." Marco said as he hugged me again.
"Thanks and what's with the hugging?"
"It's weird that you're not here for a week." He said as he ruffled my hair. Weird? I wonder if Dylan knows I left for France.
"Ready pumpkin?" My dad asked.
"Yes." I smiled.
"Where's mom?"
"She will come down soon." My dad said and I clinged to him.
"So how's France?"
"It was good.. the best healing time ever." I smiled at him and he nodded. We waited for mom to come down and after 10 minutes, she came down. We decided to go there together at once instead of going there in separate cars.
I guess.. I will see Dylan at this party. Diana will come too, I bet. God.. I will see them being lovey dovey. I kinda hate it.
As soon as I arrived there, I clinged to Marco right away. We walked into the ballroom and there's a lot of people. I texted Nial where he is but he hasn't replied.
"There's the others." We always gather together because we really don't mingle a lot with people. You know why? People love to use us or try to do something bad so we kinda have to be becareful.
"Hey!" Joan and Autumn hugged me right away.
"Hey you!" I said. Cailey and Crystal joined.
"How's France?" Crystal asked.
"Great. It was a really great healing time."
"We miss you, you know.." Archer said and I smiled.
"Miss you too A."
"We never been apart, so it's kinda weird.. you know being apart this long." Cailey's right. We never were apart from each other. We are always together and basically do everything together.
"Good to have you back, kiddo." Morris said and I nodded. We heard the announcement that the event has started. It's a robot launching party. It's kinda cool though..
"So.. France huh?" I don't need to turn my head to know who it is. It's Dylan.
"Yeah.. France."
"How was it?" He asked.
"Hey babe." Nial suddenly slipped his arm around my waist and kissed my cheek. I smiled at him.
"Hey Dylan." Nial smirked to him and I turned to Dylan to see him glaring at Nial hard.
"Sorry I'm late."
"Nah, it's okay."
"Glad that you're back, Lauren. I miss you." What's with him? He picked me up earlier and why is he acting like this? Nial hugged me and I just decided to play along.
"Miss you too babe." I said.
"We need to go on a date tomorrow."
"Deal." I smiled and then he walked away to mingle with other people. Dylan walked away too. I took a really deep breath. It feels so weird to stand between Nial and Dylan earlier. It's like they're going to kill each other.
I looked around and there's no Nial and Dylan. I started to walk around to find one of them.
"Do you see Nial?" I asked Aiden.
"No." He said and I walked again.
"Do you see Nial or Dylan?" I asked Morris and Daniel.
"No clue." They said and I sighed. I walked out from the ballroom and looked around. I heard a squeal from the side and I ran quickly to where the sound came from.
"Dylan stop!" I said before he can punch Nial. Clara tried to stop Dylan from punching Nial.
"Stop? He's cheating on you!" Dylan turned to me and bursted at me. He held Nial's collar completely ready to kill him and Clara tried to push Dylan away it was no use because Dylan is too strong.
"Dylan.. stop!" I said once again and he looked at Nial seriously.
"How can you ask me to stop when your boyfriend is clearly cheating on you with this girl?" Dylan bursted as he looked at Nial with a killing look.
"Why do you care?" I asked and he immediately turned to me. He released the grip.
"Right.. Why do I care?"
"You okay?" I asked Nial and he nodded.
"He has been cheating on you-" I walked past Dylan and checked on Nial. He's okay and I asked Clara to drag him away. I turned to Dylan.
"Cheating on me? That's his girlfriend." I said to him and Dylan looked at me disbelief.
"What? You and Nial.."
"Yeah.. We're not." I hissed coldly at him and planned to go back inside the ballroom but Dylan stopped me.
"I'm sorry."
"I don't want to talk to you right now." I said in a small tone and then I walked inside the ballroom again.
