"What are you my dad?" I hissed at him and he looked at me disbelief.
"I'm not your dad!"
"Well stop asking me to sleep.. I'm not sleepy!"
"You have to take a lot of rest, why are you so stubborn?" He hissed coldly and I groaned in pain when I hit my own arm to my IV's pole.
"See.. you're being clumsy again.."
"Mr. Lemiere, stop forcing me to sleep. I'm not a baby anymore!"
"The nurse said that you ne- hey! Stop calling me that!"
"You won't listen to me, then I won't listen to you.. MISTER LEMIERE.." I emphasized it and smirked at him. He looked at me disbelief and he walked towards the sofa. He plopped down and leaned his back to the sofa. He closed his eyes and I sat up straight looking at him with amusement in my eyes.
"Why? Tired?"
"Why?" He suddenly asked.
"I asked you first.. why are you asking me back?" I rolled my eyes and I took a glass of water from the side table. I sipped it with a straw.
"Why do I like a clumsy girl like you?" That made me choke. Matthew ran to me and patted my back to calm me down.
"I exist.. all right."
"I know you heard me, Scarlette. Don't pretend that you didn't." He said and I was going to smack my head but he held it again.
"Stop doing that!" He said and I looked up to him.
"Well.. Why do I like a man like you too? So controlling, annoying, demanding, like to order people around, cold, handsome, sexy and you know.. the list goes on.." I said blabbering and then turned to him again. He looked at me blankly.
"What? You asked me that question so I asked you back.." I gestured to him and him.
"I was your boss."
"Yeah and I did Bosszone you.."
"Unbelievable" He said and he leaned closer to me.
"Matthew Lemiere, don't even think about it." I said and he stopped. I smirked and gestured to him to go back to the sofa.
"I want to sleep."
"What? You said th-"
"I'm a patient here. Please understand me." I said gesturing to him to go. I pulled my blanket and hid my face under the blanket.
"I know you're laughing evilly down there.." He's 1000% right. I was laughing evilly.. secretly.. without any sound. I heard that he already sat on the sofa and I opened my blanket. I got up and turned to him.
"Stay there.." I gestured to him to stay.
"I'm not a dog."
"I know.. I'm not that dumb." I said and he rolled his eyes. I got up from my bed and walked towards him. I slipped a little bit but managed to walk straight again.
"I swear that.. you and your clumsy attitude made me worry about you all the time." He said and that made me smile.
"Well.. that's a good thing." I said and I sat beside him. I linked my arm to him and leaned my head to his shoulder.
"I want to sleep here.. don't you dare to walk away and leave me!" I hissed.
"Yes.. Clumsy girl." He said flatly and I chuckled. I felt that he kissed the top of my head and that made me smile. I like this guy a lot and I'm lucky to have this perfect guy to handle my clumsiness.
"Goodnight.. you clumsy girl." He ruffled my hair a little bit. I turned my head to him and he raised his eyebrows.
"Can I kiss you?" I asked and he looked at me like I was growing 5 heads.
"I guess no-" He crashed his lips to mine and he kissed me slowly like I'm a really fragile glass.
"What's with asking?" He asked and moved my body. I put my head on his lap and he patted my shoulder.
"Goodnight, Mr. Lemiere."
"I said stop calling that!"
"I will charge you 1000 dollars if you try to kiss me in my sleep."
"I have billions in case you forgot.."
"Right.. my bad." I closed my eyes and I felt his lips touch my cheek.
"1000 dollar, Mr. Lemiere."
"Just sleep, Scarlette." He said and I smiled. I slowly drifted to sleep. After sleeping for a few hours, I opened my eyes slowly and yes.. Matthew's still here. I got up slowly and changed my position. I linked my arm to him and leaned to his shoulder.
"You're awake?" He asked and I kissed his cheek. I felt weird when I kissed his cheek..
"Matthew.. what's.."
"Nothing." He prevented me from touching it but I slipped my hand and touch it again. I peeled the bandage off. I can't believe that I didn't realize that he was hurted.
"You go-"
"Scarlette.. jus-" I put my index finger on his mouth and looked at the burn.
"Where's the other one?" I asked and he shook his head.
"Can you not lie to me?" I looked straight to his eyes and he sighed. He took off his suit and rolled up his shirt sleeves.
"How?"
"It was a grenade." He answered.
"You should get it treated." I said as I got up. I was going to press the emergency button so that the nurse can come in and treat him as well but Matthew prevented me.
"Get off me!" I hissed.
"I'm fine, geez." I pushed him away and pressed the button. I smirked looking at him and he just looked at me in disbelief.
"You're unbelievable."
"Sit down.."
"Ms. Thompson.. is everything okay?" The nurse came into the room panting.
"Can you treat this?" I asked and she looked at the burn wounds on Matthew.
"I'll be right back." She said and I nodded.
"I'm fine."
"No.. you're not fine." I said as I looked at the burning wound on his cheek.
"Why would you.. go run to a grenade explosion?" I hissed.
"I need to know that you're alive or not and grenade cannot stop me from doing that." That made me smile..
"I'm alive, Mr. Lemiere."
"You were not alive at that time, Scarlette."
"Well.. I'm alive now." I said and the nurse bursted the door. She started to treat Matthew and I looked at her intensely because she kept glancing at Matthew.
"Can you hurry up? Stop glancing at my boss." I hissed and she turned to me in horror.
"Boss? I thought he's your fiance. Your boss?" She asked in a really happy tone.
"Get out!" I hissed coldly as soon as she finished treating Matthew.
"Fiance?"
"Boss?" Me and Matthew asked each other at the same time.
"Are you still Bosszoning me?" He asked.
"And you're Fiancezoning me?" I asked.
"You know that I like you!" He hissed and glared at me.
"You know that I like you too!"
"So what's with the word boss?"
"What's with the fiance word?"
"Scarlette!" That made me stop.. he looked away and sighed. What a cutie?
"So you're pissed?" I asked and he sighed.
"Mr. Lemiere slash Matthew slash my boyfriend, are you going to be mad at me now?" I asked and he turned to me after hearing that word.
"What?"
"Did you just claim yourself as my girlfriend?" He asked and I nodded innocently.
"What? I can't? I like you, you like me. So? Since you will never claim me.. I'll claim you."
"Remind me.. why do I like you again?"
"Because I'm fantabulous.."
"Is that even a word?"
"Can you just shut up and kiss me?"
