"And that is how we, the Ethisians, had gotten a hold of the Granians’ Mutants." Enor concluded the story as the sun slowly started to set.
Looking at his High Grades, he was amazed at how mesmerized they were by his story. The High Ruler realized that not many of his people did not know the history of how Humans were brought into the War. He began to realize that the new generations of warriors didn’t even know why they were fighting the Granians which was quite worrisome if one came to think of it.
"I am surprised that none of you know this story," Enor spoke, his face showing his disbelief. "Have any of you taken the time to learn about our history?"
"Well we were," Elenor spoke and then Commander interrupted saying;
"But almost all who were deemed eligible enough to fight were drafted into the War before we were given the chance to know of this history."
"In addition," Elenor continued, "most of us were starter warriors who, in case you didn’t know, aren’t told much about War. We’re only told stories about the Humans and Commander’s account of the Granian Warriors is the latest news we have."
Commander hung his head while fear and trembling began to overwhelm his emotions. Mastering the courage to speak, the High Grade asked the High Ruler a question that had developed in his mind.
"High Ruler. What do you think about these four new Humans? Do you think they can become as strong or even stronger than our Humans? Would it not be wise for us to involve our Mutants before the Granians’ Mutants surpass them in strength?"
"Well, what do you think?" Enor asked and then continued to answer. "With advancements in technology come better and quicker ways for one to increase their strength. Our Mutants had to become stronger the harder way through hard work and immense toiling.
"That training is the reason they’re as strong as they are right now. As for the Granians’ new mutants, they have immense technology on their side in addition to a little bit of battle experience. There’s another thing I came to learn about these Humans. Despite being weak and flesh-based, they have an immense will to survive, a will to fight, a will to grow stronger. They’re resilient and seldom give up despite the odds set against them.
"Our Humans called it the indominable human spirit, one that forbids them from failing. Now, what do you think happens when you combine this spirit with a gene that makes one seek nothing but death, destruction, and immense power along with the tenacity Granians possess?"
"The Ultimate Soldier!!" Elenor gasped, terrified by the potential the Humans had. If what Enor said was true, it was only a matter of time until the Granians’ Humans became an unstoppable force ruling along with the Granians.
"If that happens, who do you think will be able to stop them?" Enor asked again but none of the High Grades responded. Dumbstruck, they held their tongues and let the thought simmer. Now, they fully understood why the High Ruler was breaking the rules to speak to his Humans, despite the underlying fact that his life could end on that very day.
"Let us continue, the sun is starting to set. If we take too long, the creatures of the night will hinder us yet again."
Night fell upon the land quickly, bringing with it strong, cold fronts of cooling air with a few particles of dust pouring all over.
The night sky, vast and multicolored with the moons and stars above them, sang of the planet’s scenery and beauty that only a few shared with it.
The three Ethisians—Enor, Elenor, and Commander—marched toward a small patch of tall trees at the center of the valley where they believed their Humans resided. As they got closer, their hearts throbbed and pounded in their chests with an underlying fear gnawing away at their consciousness.
In as much as they understood their assignment, they couldn’t overcome the fearful terror that continuously sang in their ears. The stories High Ruler told the High Grades made them grow unbelievably uncomfortable and fearful, terrified at the thought of two simple Humans having the ability to kill them in a matter of microseconds.
As for the High Ruler, he was afraid that the Humans would hold a grudge against him for what he had once subjected them to. Retelling the story to the High Grades reminded him of how cruel and unforgiving he once was.
Even though it was for the sake of his people, he didn’t expect the Humans to be as understanding now that they had the power to enact revenge.
’We could be walking into a death trap. I’m not even sure if we’ll survive!!’
Knowing this, Enor still led the High Grades to the Humans’ settlement. In a few minutes, the Ethisians were now a few blocks away from the Humans’ settlement, their hearts throbbing horribly with fear nearly making their legs numb.
Despite this, they couldn’t help but admire what the Humans had made for themselves. Their settlement, built among towering trees, consisted of about three main buildings with bridges and ladders connecting from one tree to another.
Below the trees were fences made from wood with a few beasts and livestock grazing on green grass which the Humans had somehow managed to grow.
It being nightfall allowed the Ethisians to admire the beautiful environment the Humans made for themselves. Different torches with multicolored flames, lanterns, and bulbs with glow worms illuminated the settlement with beautifully crafted houses made of wood and mud sitting on the sturdy tree branches. This was a truly beautiful sight to behold, especially given the fact that the Ethisians had never encountered such simplicity in architecture before.
"These beings are...incredibly powerful but..."

"Don’t be fooled, High Grades," Enor spoke as he gripped his weapon tightly. With his gaze fixed forward, the High Ruler alerted his High Grades on an impending danger running their way. "We’ve got one more challenge ahead of us."
He said while pointing at the beasts suddenly transform into Blood Mutant variants while the Humans watched from a far distance. Seeing this, the High Ruler guessed it was some form of right of passage test. After all, he was the one who taught the Humans so perhaps this was their way of testing him.
