This was a bad idea. I should have kept my mouth shut but I had to get angry and rattled out Monica. The doctor was always cool and never got angry but that wasn't the case because now the worst of it all happened when someone arrived at the wrong time adding fuel to the fire. I stepped away from the heated moment which I wanted to happen a long time ago when I found out Monica had two men in her life and both she didn't want to let go of and now Leo and Justin were standing face to face. Head on and angry that I could feel the heat from where I was. Monica stood there trying, by all means, to keep her tears in check and I felt even worse knowing I caused this
"Son of a bitch!"The doctor was fast to land a heavy punch across Leo's face such that Leo stumbled backward obviously wasn't expecting something so vicious from a man who was refined and carried himself like a nobleman. I saw as Leo held his mouth and straightened up. I could tell he was boiling with rage as his sharp eyes fixed on Justin
"P...please stop this...this is my fault entirely," Monica said as she tried to stop whatever was about to happen between the two. She was almost in tears but Justin shoved her off with so much strength and she ended up stumbling backward nearly falling when I rushed to her and held her
"D...don't touch me" she muttered throwing me off her body
"You damned fucker should have had the guts to tell me...you were with her!"Justin growled out at Leo who was standing there fuming in anger. His eyes had turned so red that for a second I saw a different Leo. He was ready to kill so was Justin
"What? Surprised huh...she's my woman the mistake you made was laying your filthy hands on her!"Leo yelled back through gritted teeth and he was an inch from ripping Justin apart. Compared to Doctor Justin, Leo was well built and more muscular. He was rippled in a savage aggressive way and his features were sharp compared to the doctor who was cool, not so rippled like he spent half his life in the gym. Leo was 29 years old and the doctor was only 26. The age difference made Leo not react violently when he was punched hard; however, the doctor didn't seem to want to back down as he grabbed Leo by his coat collar. Fisting the fabric in his hands as he pulled her forward like he was some ragged doll
"You both disgust me...such shameless people...I should have known you were playing with me!"Justin made a low growl as he pulled Leo even more as if trying to shake the living daylight out of him. I grew afraid by the dangerous aura both men were giving such that I cursed myself for causing this. I didn't want this to happen and seeing g how Monica was standing there like a soaked cat ashamed of what she did
"She's mine...she has always been mine...I asked her not to even give a fuck about you...poor choice because you are nothing"Leo lashed back with his voice carrying authority. He scared me so much that I wanted this to stop. Two men who had been friends were fighting and it was my fault
"Then you can fucking keep her...I hate disgusting women like her...she's dirty so are you!"The doctor spat out bitterly and let go of Leo pushing him backward. Leo just managed to balance on his feet.
"I trusted you...you were like a brother to me... just like Vic is but...in the end, you are just a fucking bastard abandoned by his own mother"doctor Justin said with an evil smirk and Immediately the words left his mouth. A hard punch flew out of nowhere and landed hard across the doctor's face such that he stumbled around and fell hard on the tiled floor holding his face which was bleeding badly.
"Jayy!"Monica exclaimed and rushed to the doctor who was breathing heavily as he tried to wipe the blood from his mouth and nose unfortunately the damage had already been done
"How dare you insult me...you deserve to die!"Leo growled out as he pounced on Justin who was about to stand and punched him several times causing more damage.
"Leo stop it he's hurt!"Monica tried to hold back Leo but she has pushed off him with a lot of strength causing her to fall back on the floor landing with a thud
"Hahaha, what? hurts right...you are just a nobody...a good for nothing fucker...and you ask why your foolish of a mother left you and decided to make another woman's children her own, "the doctor said with mocking laughter she received serious beatings from Leo who was like a raging beast. He didn't stop hitting as blood splashed from the doctor's face staining Leo's white shirt
"I'll kill you!"Leo snarled through gritted teeth as he tossed Justin around such that the scenery was suffocating. I didn't like it one beat. Every attack flashed before my eyes that the doctor continued provoking Leo who was raging and beating the hell out of him. I was frozen in place as I saw Monica running off to stop Leo but she was not so powerful compared to Leo who was a complete beast
"Stop it, Leo!"I gathered enough strength and yelled so much that Leo immediately stopped hitting the doctor Midway and shifted his eyes to where I was. My heart was racing fast as my chest rose and fell steadily. I didn't like this at all and when Leo saw me he let go of the doctor who fell back down and Monica used this opportunity to rush to him unfortunately he shrugged her off
"Leo please don't go"I shouted after him when he looked at me for a second and stormed away heading to the exit door. I tried by all means to run after him but unfortunately when I got outside. He was already in his sports car when I shouted for him to stop. He drove as fast as he could and left the mansion
"No this can't be happening" I muttered, hating myself for this. I triggered everything and now people were fighting all because of me
When I got back inside I saw Justin stumbling on the stairs as he tried to climb up. Monica was behind keeping her distance but I could tell she wanted to help him
"Jayy please let me help you...you're hurt" she climbed the stairs halfway but Justin was already on the top stairs and he disappeared away leaving Monica standing there soaking in her tears. I walked up to her and tried to apologize for this I didn't mean for this to happen but words were left at the wrong time causing a huge scene
"Moni...I'm so sorry I... didn't mean...I feel ashamed I hate myself…."
"You shouldn't talk to me right now" she cut off when I was about to explain myself. I was so foolish and let anger get the best of me. She didn't even look at me as she walked upstairs and I knew I blew it. Although I wanted her to tell the doctor what was happening. I had no right to meddle in her affairs. It was her life and I was so only that I blurted out something so delicate and caused more drama
"Ahh! Vivie, learn to close your mouth" I growled out when I entered my room and slammed the door shut. I caused trouble everywhere I went. I mean what was wrong with me. I needed to learn to stay away from trouble but now
"Ms…"I heard Julia's voice than the door fully opened and I waved her off not in the mood to listen to anything
"Just go, Julia...I'm so tired and not hungry" I told her and sat in the bed but she ignored me anyway and walked in closing the door shut
"Someone delivered this," she said, handing me some s when I looked up. I was stunned to see her holding my phone. It had a pink apple cover with some glitters I sprinkled to make it sparkly. I looked at her then to the phone in her hand and wondered how she got it
"The driver brought it back," she said with a smile as if she read my mind
"Oh okay"I muttered and took the phone from her. I thanked my stars. I had it with me. I guessed the driver saw it in the car and brought it back to me which meant Victor didn't see it and that made me happy. In the midst of all this, I was afraid of Victor going through my contacts and finding his number saved as something so degrading
"Thanks, Julia, "I said, still surprised. However, I was surprised when I found it on and there was a new message. Quickly I clicked on it and found a message from Victor and it was five minutes ago(''managed to cause a scene Ms. Payton?") I was confused reading the text which had me thinking. I read it again and I didn't know what he meant. My eyes shifted to look at Julia and she was standing there staring at me. I was so lost that I moved my eyes back to my phone screen
("It seems you love drama so I added a little spice to it...how is it...is it bloody") Another message came and it was from the man. By now my brain was losing cells obviously because I was muddleheaded and the man way with words. I didn't understand anything he said until
("Ms. Payton at least you should thank me for granting your wishes of exposing those people") he sent another and by now I got the bigger picture. My eyes automatically widened in pure shock not believing what just happened, my mouth was left open and closing it was hard
"W...what is it?"Julia asked with concern, obviously surprised by my reaction but this was intense. Was Victor so shrewd and did he know about the live triangle going on under his roof
("When people do something so despicable under my roof...and you cover it up...there are dire consequences")the man sent another email and I was sweating from fear that I didn't even know why I felt this hot as my body started crying, sweating like hell
"I'll get some water," Julia said and headed towards the door. I didn't even care about her because it seemed Victor had eyes everywhere and how did he know I would say something like that. Did he send Leo here on purpose to see what was happening
"The grumpy man is so shrewd...he's like the villain"I finally regained control over my voice and said the first words at the tip of my tongue knowing the man used me to expose those two "I'm not the bad guy here...he is"realizing this I was so stunned. Why would he do that, he tricked me, he knew more about Leo and Monica as well as doctor Justin and was just waiting for the right time to strike and he used me, and like a fool, I fell for his cheap game
("You are welcome Ms. Payton")he sent another message and reading it I felt as if he could read my thoughts but where was he and why did he do something so despicable now Leo and Justin were mortal enemies. Justin provoked Leo by talking about his mom and I came to know such a topic was a sensitive one to Leo.
