Chapter 18 Changes
Raven POV
I was fed up with this shit, today he came back drunk as always. I confronted him, talking to him calmly. Ethan you have been ignoring me, forget about me, your daughter, you stopped talking to her, you yell at her when she tries asking you to play with her I said starting to cry, what he had been doing was affecting his daughter and me very much. I think you need to see a therapist before I know it.
Ethan slapped me, I held my cheek.
He started saying stuff to me and blaming me for losing his child
You bitch! It's because of you we lost our baby, not just one but two kids. If only you had behaved none of this would have happened to me. But no! You just had to make me very angry and we lost the baby. I tried talking but he slapped me again and I fell before I knew it.
He tore my cloth, you know what? We're going to have another baby.
One way or the other I want another child in your womb.

I don't want this Ethan, I begged but he did not listen, he raped me, my fiancée raped me I cried and begged for him to stop but he wouldn't listen.
After he was done he left me there and went out.
I had to call Amanda that night to take me to her place.
I haven't told anyone about what was going on but am sure Amanda had noticed my behaviour.
I just couldn't take it anymore, I had to leave. It wasn't the first time he was hitting me.
He had done it several times even in the presence of his daughter.
I was just staying because I didn't want Blue to be sad, I just want her to be happy but I couldn't take it anymore.

I knew something was wrong with Raven, every time I tried asking her about it she refused to tell me.
During our girl's night, she was always jumpy like she was waiting for something bad to happen.
I just didn't understand but when I got a call from her telling me to come over I was surprised when I saw her on the floor naked.
Oh my, what happened, I had to take her to her bathroom to change and get cleaned up.
She wouldn't say anything. Raven, please tell me what happened.
"You were right Maddy, I shouldn't have accepted the proposal."
I don't get it, wait, you mean Ethan did this to you? She nodded.
What the hell! I got so angry, but I heard Raven whimpering.
"Are you okay?"
Am sorry if I'm scaring you.
I am just so angry.

Please just take me away from here she said crying again, my poor baby I hugged her.
Few days later
I went back to staying at my apartment.
I had to leave him
He will never change, he won't change what was I even thinking, how did I let him in so easily, and to be hurt like this again I will rather be alone than be in a relationship with him.
Even though his ex-girlfriend warned me about his behaviour I didn't listen
I mean during our marriage I never experienced it this bad.
I met his ex-girlfriend when I was still pregnant with the baby.
I was going shopping for some baby clothes when I saw someone familiar
I tried avoiding her but I guess she remembered who I was and she shouted my name
Raven! Oh my gosh, is that you?
I smiled oh hi, it's good to see you again
She hugged me which was surprising
Oh dear, I heard about your divorce from Ethan, I am so sorry about it
Oh, we did divorce but we're getting married again
She was surprised

She rolled her eyes, please, like I don't know about Ethan's temper what made you think I broke up with him
I couldn't say anything because when I asked Ethan about it he had told me she was cheating on him. But I couldn't confront her because she left the country the following week after they broke up.

I wish I had listened to her then, maybe all this wouldn't have gotten this far.
When I got to Amanda's place I told her what had been going on before I knew it she started calling everyone, my parents, Ethan's family. It was a big fight and everyone was screaming at each other. I was so tired of it, I am just grateful the kids were not home to witness all this.
They had gone camping with Sam, they got close to her, she is nice and playful.
We talked for hours, and Ethan's family apologised for what their son did to me. I mean they didn't need to confront him, the proof was all over
my body.
It's been a week now and have not heard or seen Ethan, my baby girl was so happy I wasn't staying with her dad, I was thinking she would be mad that I left her father she just said: "mom I know dad hit you a lot so please don't go back to him he-he his a monster".
"Don't say that about your father dear" b-but he hurt you, so much please mama don't go back to him let stay like this only us I don't need him, I have you, and that is okay. I just held her while we cried.
A few days later, Amanda came over to check on me, we got talking about her and Sam. I needed to get my mind off Ethan and I guess hearing my friend talk about her relationship with Sam makes me happy.
Then I heard the door being banged by someone and the person shouting
"come out Raven I know you're in there"
