He sighed and rubbed his tired eyes " All the efforts to get Angel has been futile and it wear me out because I would have caught her today if only I was a bit earlier " He looked so pained and sad that her heart ached to take the pain away.
Feeling the urge to really comfort him, she reached out and took his hands in her small ones. Staring deep into Ava's eyes, he felt he could drown in them forever. He embraced her again and murmured on her neck.
" Thank you Ava " He said quietly but Ava could tell she had made him feel better.
She smiled but her smile disappeared the minute she felt him kiss her neck ever so softly.
Her eyes widened and she suddenly felt hot. Clearing her throat, she said " Huh... It's late Alex, we should go to bed "
Alex raised his head to look at her. Without a word, he slowly leaned down, waiting for her to pull away or something. But she did none, so he captured her mouth in a passionate kiss. Ava's eyes widened in shock and she went still for a moment. Alex coaxed her into opening up for him in which she did after a while. She felt the world move as she let go of everything and just focused on the kiss. His hands went down to hold her waist protectively. Ava removed her hands from where she wrapped them around his neck and placed them on his chest to trace her fingers on it. She drew him closer, to his happiness.
All of a sudden, without breaking the kiss, he lifted her up and she squealed " Alex! What are you doing?! " She asked, fear and excitement written in her eyes.
His eyes became clouded and he stared at her with lust filled eyes " I really do not appreciate you breaking my kiss, Mama " He said softly.
Her cheeks turned a light shade of pink and she looked down to where their bodies were joined " What are you...? " She started to ask but Alex cut in.
" You'll see " He answered and he kept walking. When they reached the staircase, he changed her position and carried her bridal style.
Ava bursted into laughter which sounded like music to his ears. She finally felt comfortable with him because she wound her arms around his neck like her life depended on it. It gladdened his heart to see she was finally free with him. Her eyes widened the second time that night when she realized where they were heading to. Her throat suddenly went dry and she gulped.
She decided to ask , even though she knew already " Where are we going, Alex? " She stared up at him with innocent eyes.
" My room, kitten " He answered with a soft smile, thinking about how innocent she looked.

He grinned and hastened up. Soon, they got to the door and he opened it in a hurry. They entered and he kissed her once more. Ava started to back some steps away until she hit the king sized bed. Automatically, she fell on it, her hair all over the place. Alex went down with her but supported his weight by placing his hands on either side of her to avoid crushing her with his weight.
" You're so beautiful " He whispered and slowly undid the buttons on her Top. Ava sucked in a sharp breath, feeling butterflies in her stomach.
