The journey was a lot faster this time and once they got to the hill overlooking the house, Angel asked them all to wait. He then proceeded to scout the area, still carrying Nadia. He wasn’t in a hurry to break the skin contact with her and with how Nadia was rubbing against him he didn’t think she was ready too.
Angel thought the place was a tad deserted compared to the other time. There were no guards patrolling the grounds but he knew one guard was up the security tower. He could perceive his scent as well as the food he had for dinner. The compound was plunged into darkness and there were no signs that humans were inside the house.
When he realised he would need to climb and jump over the fence to get in, he said, “You may have to wait out here, Nadie, I need to climb the fence and scout the compound before I let the others in.” His voice was deep and hoarse and he knew why.
“Or we could just go walk through the gate,” Nadia replied sounding sultry. Angel almost moaned out loud. His beast was out of control and wanted to fuck her and he was bearly holding him in check. And Nadia wasn’t helping. The combination of her voice and her hands on him was driving him wild.
“How do you propose we do that?” he asked.
“Use me as a distraction…”
“How?” Angel tensed up, hoping to hell she wasn’t thinking of flirting with the guard while he looked on. She probably didn’t know his kind was quite possessive about their mate and would kill any male Were or human who dares to cross the line. He figured he had enough problems trying to contain his beast from taking control and fucking her mindless. The last thing he needed was getting him jealous and in rage too.
“You've got to trust me on that one,” she said. Angel frowned and allowed her to slip down from his back. He then completely regressed to hide his wolf features before she opened her eyes. And when she did, the way she looked into his eyes with a sexy smile tugging the corners of her full, sexy lips, made Angel reach for her.
He leaned into her, wrapped one arm around her to lift her up and took her lips. Nadia gasped in surprise and wrapped her legs around him for support
When Angel heard himself say in his guttural tone, “I want inside you so bad.” He groaned deep in his throat. He knew his beast had won this round and he was losing the reins on his control.
“I would love that, baby,” Nadia replied in a breathless tone.
“Don’t encourage me. We are in the middle of a mission,” he grumbled. She giggled.
“Rain check then?” Nadia said as she used one hand to unbutton the top three of her shirt buttons, exposing her cleavage. Angel groaned and buried his nose in between her breast, drawing in her scent.
“More,” he growled almost in pain and she quickly pulled away the fabric to bare her breast. Angel latched his lips to her left nipple and suckled. Nadia threw her head back and bit down on her lip to keep from moaning out loud.
“I can smell you dripping wet for me and I want to taste you so bad.,” Angel whispered. ‘Oh, heavens! This is getting out of hand!’ he thought to himself. ‘Damn it! She feels so good!’ he silently agonised.
“Oh, God!” Nadia moaned as he continued to devour her.
The crushing of dry wood underfoot made Angel stiffen. He cursed in his head and put Nadia down. She quickly buttoned up and when she looked up she saw Angel looking at her with so much hunger she rushed against him, stretched up and kissed him.
“I beg you to keep a little distance from me, so we can get what we came for, and go back…”
“Angel…”
“I want you, but I can’t ... not yet, okay?” he said. She smiled longingly at him and nodded.
“Should I create a distraction?”
“No. Wait here, and stay put. I will be back for you shortly,” he said and walk slightly away from the tall wall then leapt over it in a panther-like pounce that caused Nadia to gasp in awe.
But instead of her waiting as he directed, she tied up the hem of her shirt to show off her firm stomach. Loosened the top buttons to expose the swell of her full breast, then jogged to the front of the house, stopped as if it was out of curiosity and waved at the security camera at the top of the gate, smiling.
A security guard came to the gate, opened it and walked outside. The guy was about six feet tall and larger than life. He was blond but she couldn’t make out the colour of his eyes. The security light flooded him, making it hard to see his face, but he wore a dark green military getup that depicted exactly his role at the post.
Nadia’s grin widened when he lowered his eyes to the front of her chest.
“Hello!”
“Good evening, madam,” he replied in a German-accented tone.
“Madam?” Nadia repeated and giggled. “just Miss would do, handsome,” she said giving the guy a seductive look. Nadia saw his shoulders relaxed in posture. She added, “I didn't know we have such a good-looking neighbour, are you the only one here?”
“You are from Mr Rufus, house?”
“Yup. He is my uncle!” she replied. That piece of information seemed to hit the guy and his frame stiffened. He stood straighter and Nadia saw his adam apple bobbed.
“How may I help you, Miss Rufus?” he said stiffly.
“Come now, no need to be too formal. It gets kind of lonely up there sometimes. I decided to jog to clear my head... insomnia. What’s your excuse?”
“Excuse?”
“Shouldn’t you be sleeping?”
“It’s kind of my job not to at this time, Miss,” he said and she saw the corner of his lips tugged in a ghost of a smile.
