"Stupid master! Always forgetting to use me! Hmph!" a cute female voice said in annoyance.
"Keep calm." a calm female voice said.
"He's waking up." a wise male voice said to the two in an almost quiet tone.
True to his word, a pair of emerald, green eyes fluttered open with a bit of difficulty.
"Ouch! Where am I?" Ethan muttered in pain.
"Ouch! Who are you?" Ethan asked the hovering blue spirit in front of his eyes. It had a feminine figure and was very small, just the size of his index finger. It was featureless but somehow it talked or more like he could hear it.
"It seems the power you used messed with your mind." the blue spirit said in a gruff tone.
"What power? What do you mean?" Ethan was now confused. He couldn't remember a thing no matter how hard he tried. He only felt a stinging pain in his head anytime he tried.
"Don't mind her master. She just a bit angry and very concerned about your wellbeing." another female voice sounded from below his neck. This he recognized as Angitia's voice. Looking down, he saw the same old serpent spirit beast he knew but there were a few changes. The eye rune which was previously just a symbol had transformed into an actual eye albeit closed at the moment. Her red scales had also gotten a slight reddish-purple sheen to it and the horns which initially determined her rank had transformed. Instead of the silver which represented the Silver rank, they were now a crystalline red color. The horns had also changed from the previous domineering type to a sleeker type and faced backwards. White whiskers also adorned her face making her resemble a Shenlong but without the feet. Her tail was also more crystalline changing colors constantly from blue to silver to purple. Her previous black eyes also had blue rings around the irises.
"Angitia? You are done with your evolution?"
"You look beautiful."
"Thank you master." Angitia answered with her with her eyes shining.
"It seems you are well master." a male voice which sounded old and ancient said from his feet.
"Huh? Gal?" Ethan had another surprise as he stared at the tortoise lying lazily at the foot of his bed. He was just as he knew him but there were a few changes. His round shell was gone, replaced by a more sleek and fitting version. His face also looked more draconic than tortoise and his tail had a barbed tip. His horns were also sleek and thin and blending between gold and silver. His golden eyes now looked draconic with glowing runes around his irises.
"Yes master. I see you are now well."
"Yeah. What actually happened?"
"Hey! Why are you ignoring me?!"
"You used Double Sync and pushed yourself past the time limit, causing you to fall into a coma."
"Why didn't you add that I protected him?! Gal Gal"
" I told you not to call me that...."
"Who exactly are you? I don't recall ever meeting you." Ethan said to blue spirit who was nearly poking her little finger in his left eye.
"Um... you know me well. You just haven't used me, ever."
"Why do you talk like some kind of..."
"Get your mind out of the gutter you pervert!" She said with a slight blush.
"I'm the Chain you got sometime ago."
"Oh... the Chain of Wills."
"Who the hell told you that shit!... Oh! Empress. I'm sorry" her initial loud tone turned to a whisper.

"You are the best master ever!" Tia said as she moved to give Ethan a peck on his cheek. She then began rubbing herself on his cheek with a happy smile on her face.
"Hehe! Master is the best!" She exclaimed while looking at Angitia with a smirk.
Ethan swore he saw veins bulge in Angitia's horns.
"Oh he's finally awake!" A voice which was very familiar sounded from behind the door to Ethan's room which he just noticed. He was back in his old room in the Avluv household. The voice belonged to his best buddy, Trevor.
In no time, people stormed his room. Two of them practically flew on to him, pushing the clingy Tia into his hair as they rained him with kisses of all levels.
"Cough! Girls he isn't going anywhere." Miss Carmen said with a somewhat jealous look. Her veil was off and for the first time, Ethan was seeing the cute black cat ears on top of her head. He stared at it so long that she blushed.
"You are welcome to join big sister Carmen!" Clara exclaimed with a happy expression causing Ethan to make a very confused expression.
"What are you waiting for you black cat? Just do it or else we will do it for you." Harley also said while continuing to give Ethan a furious kiss on his lips.
"Don't mind me then..." Before anyone could react, Carmen was on top of Ethan kissing him furiously. The girls and his beasts had given way for her to do it and she thanked them silently in her heart.
'Finally! What I have been waiting for all these years!'
Carmen was visibly purring as she kissed Ethan. Although Ethan was too confused to react in anyway, she didn't mind. The truth was already out of the bag, so she didn't care anymore.
Carmen and the girls' actions though was a blow to the boys. They were blatantly expressing their love with no care in the world. Trevor turned to look at Emily but the look he got was enough to dry up the blood reserves of a Blood Primogenitor. He was too young to die!
"You kids can have all the time you want. It's time for business. Meet me downstairs. Now!" Ethan's mom, Madeleine said from the doorway in a serious voice which left no room for negotiations. Ethan had never heard his mother sound so serious in his life. Whatever it was must be very important.
Ethan arrived downstairs with a blue spirit sitting in his hair while holding strands of it like reigns on a horse and shouting, "Gidyapp! Gidyapp!" in her cute voice. The scene was very comical but Ethan was too confused to notice. Angitia hung around his neck with her flaying left and right as she slept. Galena was too lazy to come downstairs, so he just slept away on the bird.
"There he is! The savior of Anrita City!" A blue haired, ponytailed man exclaimed in a deep voice. This man was Amor Avluv, Harley's father.
"He looks so confident and powerful. How my little boy has changed." A blonde haired woman who looked like the big sister of Harley said with a somewhat sad voice. She was Petra Avluv, Harley's mother.
"Hi there Ethan. Hope you are good." Emily said with some kind of forced smile.
"Why do I feel like you are not happy to see me?"
"You should've stayed a bit longer in your coma."
"I'm too powerful for that."
"Yes! Finally!" Emily made a comical jump while raising her fist to signify her victory.
"Yo kid! Sup?!" Lamair slapped Ethan on the shoulder, his huge frame overshadowing him. Lamair was like the muscle man of the group but also the most calm and calculative after Ethan. He rarely lost his cool. Ethan could be said to be his enemy in losing his cool, for that matter.
"Hi." A small voice sounded from the corner of the room. It belonged to a beautiful silver haired elf with violet eyes. She looked shy and embarrassed with a slight blush on her cheeks. She was none other than the Moon Witch or precisely, Andriel. The one partially responsible for Ethan's coma. She was too embarrassed to see him.
"Hi there my cute soulmate... Ouch!" Harley pinched Ethan's arm when he started flirting with Andriel.
"It's your imagination." She responded in a dry tone.
"Alright sit down beside me son." Madeleine said beckoning Ethan towards a seat beside her.
"Um... where's Trevor?"
"Hi there big bro!" Trevor's mischievous voice sounded from the kitchen as he strolled into the living room with a crate of drinks.
