Ronaldo Matteo's POV
I'm completely bored. Dorothy, all that's on my mind is how handsome I am. Regretfully, I am compelled to endure these dull men's endless babble about the problems inside the pack. I say everything seems right since we are the strongest group in Europe. They simply assume that, because I'm young, I lack experience.
I started this bundle from scratch. By the time I reached an alpha status, my father had abandoned the pack. Who was he to blame? My mother was his only source of motivation to survive. He couldn't be content with me alone.
"Alpha, the…"
I silenced him after interrupting. I try to hear what I heard a few seconds ago with my wolf hearing.
That's not possible.
However, I could hear those groans anywhere. I must be angry since all the men in the room are staring at anything other than me. I growl and rise, almost ripping the door off in a haste to discover my beauty. I'm going to love seeing someone get murdered tonight—I'm not sure who it is, though.
Please release me!
I almost lose control of my wolf, but I use my wolf speed to accelerate to Dorothy's room. I did rip the door off this time. My partner is greeting me with a kiss on his neck while she presses her hips into him and raises herself to her full height as he fills her. His tongue is sucking on her breast, and his hands are up her dress. She's straddling him, and she starts to grind harder on him, so I know she's aware of my presence. She offers me a sly smirk as she peers over her shoulder.
Goddess, this man will be killed by me. I'm going to remove her from him in a moment. I lift the man she was riding high in the air and grasp him by the throat. The color red flashes across his face before turning blue.
"Ronaldo, stop! He's not guilty!" My mother screams at me. She sounds as if she could break down at any moment. I simply smirked back. How did she think I would allow him to survive? Although it's obvious that she is mine, it's not plain enough. Although it would make her angry, I would still make my point. Alright, this will be enough.
As life slowly drains from the man in my grasp, I glance at him. I feel sorry for him. Is there any man who can resist Dorothy? I refer to her as beautiful for a reason. Unfortunately, it is insufficient to save him. He must perish since he has been given the gift of her touch. It was paid for by the last guy.
I let his body fall to the ground, then mentally connected with one of my guards to pick the corpse up. Everyone will be able to see his corpse and understand the consequences of touching my mate. To emphasize my point, I want to have sex with her completely in this room—which doesn't have a door—right now. Soon, everyone will know to whom she belongs.
When I eventually turn around, her huge brown eyes meet mine in rage.

Lucia Lorenzo's POV
I stretch awake and smile as the morning light streams in through the window. Although I'm still getting used to it, living in a castle has several advantages. When I consider that Blaine and Mirabel will be getting married in the very castle I've grown to love in a few days, my smile disappears.
Getting marked in front of the entire pack is a long-standing custom that is typically carried out in Tahoe at home. But my sister wants to continue the long-standing custom of being marked in the same location as many of the pack's Lunas and Alphas. The last time it occurred, I believe, was with Blaine's great-grandfather. While most wolves wouldn't have the patience to plan a three-year trip to Italy just to get marked, Mirabel and Blaine did.
I'm curious what others think of that.
My wolf is becoming more silent the closer the day of their marking draws near. Since we arrived in Italy three years ago, she hasn't said much, but as of late, all I've heard is radio silence. I'm hoping that once Blaine marks Mirabel, our relationship will be completely severed and my wolf will finally get the message.
"Rise and shine, gorgeous!"
I glance away from the window and smile at Greg. I've made some friends while I've been here. Compared to my hometown, I have a lot more friends here. But my closest friend is Greg. He serves as my hype guy and, on occasion, my sidekick. Most of the time, I also assist him with the women.
I know he was sent here to spy on me for Blaine; I'm not naive. However, I believe our friendship has caused him to change his allegiance. He now constantly flirts with me and occasionally arranges a hookup. Even though I'm still a virgin, there are a ton of sexual activities that may be performed without having sex. I feel like something is constantly lacking when I'm going to have sex. I've never done it before, so maybe that's why it feels more significant in some ways.
By now, Blaine probably has a full harem.
Though I haven't inquired about him, rumors circulate even across continents. He hasn't shown any loyalty to his "mate." Many think that if he marks Mirabel, his actions will alter, but I feel he should have "whore" tattooed on his forehead.
"Oh my God, please tell me you didn't sleep with him!"
My eyebrows furrow in perplexity. What subject is he discussing? I can smell sex, then.
I told him, laughing, "No, he was just expressing his gratitude to me, if you understand what I mean." He breathes a sigh of calm. Reporting back to your soon-to-be alpha cousin that you failed the one duty you were given is probably not the finest thing in the world.
He collapses into my bed on his back.
"Ah, I get to live another day."
"I doubt Blaine would kill you if I slept with someone else."
He turns to face me and gives me a look that implies I'm not very smart.
"For someone who is mated to an alpha, you don't understand all the logistics."
"What do you mean?"
