Ronaldo's boots made everyone aware of his presence as he marched through the village.
Ronaldo was unconcerned that his wolf was roaring at him. He was going to finish the assignment he was on.
The women were coloring their lips and straightening their hair. They were all looking forward to what was going to happen next.
Who would he pick now?
Finally, Ronaldo came to a stop in front of a house he knew well. His usual bedfellow came to answer him. She stood in front of him, nude, a smug smile on her face. Augusta was aware that she held no value to him, yet there was a certain satisfaction in knowing that an alpha continued to pursue sexual relations with her.

Lucia Lorenzo's POV
The flight to Italy passed by more quickly than I had anticipated. Who knows, maybe it was the seven hours of sleep I had or the book I buried myself in. I used a variety of websites and travel books to assist me decide what I wanted to accomplish during my time here. In addition to all the cuisine I could sample, there were a ton of things to see here.
I was most looking forward to seeing my brother. Blaine was going to use Cyril as his beta. He was now training at the ancient Blood Moon Pack Ground in Italy. He's a huge idiot, but it's been so long since I last saw him that he wasn't able to attend my birthday.
Over the years, the majority of the members of our pack who were originally from Italy have relocated to New York City and other regions of Europe. The majority of Blood Moon members now live in New York City or another western state, allowing them to attend significant pack gatherings without having to remain on pack property. While they are headed by someone else, the pack members in Italy are still under our jurisdiction. Despite this, Alpha Gilbert is still their alpha and spends a lot of time in this area.
"We've reached the International Airport of Galileo Galilei! Cheers to Italy!"
I head to baggage claim after grabbing my carry-on. I take one quick sniff and can tell there are more werewolves around.
"Lucia!" I looked around to see who it was that called me. Since I am not only the one who goes by the name Lucia, it's possible that they weren't even calling me.
"Lucia Lorenzo!" Alright, that's me. I scan my surroundings and spot someone that looks like my very own brother.
"Cyril!" I sprint to him, throwing my bags aside, and hug him. He's grown taller; the last time I saw him, he was already 5*8 feet tall. He wraps his arms around me and gives me a firm squeeze.
He said, "This is my baby sister." Even though Mirabel is only a few minutes older than I am, I suppose I will always be the little one. He takes hold of my hand and ushers me out to a car.
Outside the airport, sellers were offering a range of goods, from food to trinkets. I'm tempted to purchase some of the mouth-watering street food, but my stomach is full from the peanuts I ate on the aircraft. After Cyril placed my bags in the trunk, we headed out.
We arrive at the pack house swiftly, and I'm in complete shock.
"Gorgeous."
There's a castle in front of me, covered in foliage. I've been taken back in time to the Italian Renaissance. It must be the most exquisite castle I have ever seen, with magnificent architecture. Unfortunately, only supernaturals can view it, so no human will be able to see it.
It is surrounded by arches that are filled with statues of different personalities.
"Who are the statues depicting?" I query Cyril.
"The greatest alphas and Lunas of the Luna Ruby Pack," he says. I had forgotten that our pack is still referred to by this name here in Italy.
Out of all the statues, one stands out. That one is made of gold, and the others are made of marble. It appears familiar for some reason and is also taller than the others.
"Who's that?" I pointed at the statue in question and asked. As he responds to me, Cyril regards the statue.
"That's the greatest alpha the world has ever seen, Alpha Ronaldo Matteo." I can't quite place the statue's resemblance to anyone, but Cyril keeps staring at it in wonder. Given that Ronaldo seemed to be in his mid-forties, he was most likely 90 years old.
"Matteo? I mistook De Lombardis for all of our alphas.
"I had the same thought, but once Alpha Ronaldo passed away without leaving a successor, the De Lombardi family assumed leadership."Interesting."His sister succeeded him after his death. That began when De Lombardi and her were mated."
"Wow, that's crazy!"
"Before we go in, I have to tell you all the rules."
"Are they any different from the rules back home?"
"A tiny bit. First of all, no boys."
At that, I rolled my eyes. It sounds more like a pack rule than a Cyril rule.
"Go on."
"The only other rule is that you cannot go into the west wing."
"Why?"
"After Alpha Ronaldo and his family passed away, nobody has been inside except for his sister. I do it as a sign of respect for him and Luna. In addition, I've heard that the location is eerie and is perhaps haunted."
"Beauty and the Beast, what is this?"
I wanted to go change so I could still do some exploration because the sun was fading. I kept walking till I came across the white marble walkway leading to this stunning location's entrance. I took another glance up at the statue of Ronaldo, but this time I saw...a woman?
"Cyril! "Where is the statue now?"
"We saw the alphas during the day, and the lunas who ruled alongside them at night," he said, chuckling before responding to me. The statues change at night as the moon shines on them. They were created by a fairly talented artist. Since the moon is a lady, I suppose it makes sense." Cyril went on and on, but I couldn't take my eyes off the woman in front of me.
"She was me, though, not just any woman."
