THE LIFE OF AN ALPHA IN DANGER
Jessica stopped laughing when no one joined her in laughing and we all maintained a straight face.
"You are pregnant?" Brenda leaned closer, and whispered.
"I guess" I shrugged, nervously.
"Wow, that's a good news" Brenda stood up and ran to my seat to hug me from the back and I couldn't believe my eye. I smiled happily as she gave me a peck on the cheek.
"Congratulation, Man" He tapped, Vincent shoulder and walked to seat back.
"Congratulation to you both" Adam stated.
"Thanks" Vincent replied, as he slipped his hands on mine.
"Congratulation, but my baby is still older than yours so I'm still carrying the heir to the throne" Jessica said, and my face dropped.
"What is she talking about?" I turned to Vincent who had his eye on Adam and he just nodded negatively.
"I've decided to keep this a secret but since your wife is your I'm left with no choice, Vincent" She stood up, proudly and swayed her hair aside.
I just sat down there like a fool with a hoping it's not what I'm thinking right now.
"Vincent and I had a thing while you are away and for your information I'm two weeks pregnant for Vincent. He promised to re-marry me if I can keep it a secret but since you are her I can't lose either way" Jessica said, confidently to us all and I jerked Vincent hands off mine.
"Is this true?" I turned to Vincent but he just went mute and didn't say a word.
"Really!" I dropped my fork and stomped off from the dinning room without turning back. Instead of going back to the room and I ran out to stay at the calm garden at the back of the pack.
"Laura, wait!" Vincent called, following me but I didn't stop.
"I can explain!" He said.
"Stop following me!. I don't want to listen to anything" I yelled at me but he didn't listen.
"Go back" I yelled, as I wiped the tears that were now falling down my cheeks.
I felt distraught and it was excruciating at the same time and I couldn't keep off the mixed feelings I was getting.
"It's just a misunderstanding" He shouted, my fist clenched into balls and it was perilous so I told him to back up but he just kept following me.
"I say stay away from me!" I turned around and I used my power on him, throwing him to the tree and he fell with a loud groaned go the ground.
"Vincent" I screamed, as I rushed to him to check if he alright.
"Laura, It's just a misunderstanding" He stuttered as he groaned in pain.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to harm you. I was just..." I cried uncontrollably as I watched him struggle to speak.
"Please, don't say anything. I'm sorry" I cried, and he tried to smile but it was difficult until he shut off from the world and his eye closed.
"Vincent" I tapped him.
"What's wrong with him" Adam and Brenda including Jessica walked into the scene.
"I don't know" I cried, and Adam quickly rushed to check him up.
"Call the doctor back, now!" He yelled to Brenda, and I just stood there wishing I could reverse the time.
"You murderer" Jessica fired at me, as if that was helping the situation. I couldn't stop the tears rolling down my eye, what if he hates me when he wakes up?.
I did not hit him intentionally it's just that I can't seems to control my power yet when I'm angry and what he did hurt me so much.
Adam lifted him up and took him to his own room denying me of every right to go see him.
I sat down at the living room trembling in fear, Brenda pitied me but Jessica won't stop cussing at me for killing Vincent.
"Jessica, can you stop. You are hurting her!" Brenda said, cautioned.
"Shut up! Let call a spade a spade!" Jessica fired back at her.
They argued for more than hours the doctor spent with Vincent and immediately he was out with Adam and I rushed to the scene with Jessica and Brenda.
"How is he?" I asked, the doctor looked at Adam then back at us.
"Vincent is fine, whatever power hit him is out of rage and he had hit his head really hard on the tree. We just hope he is able to remember a thing when he wakes up" The doctor said, and it was like a whole building just crashed on me.
"I knew you would be the end of him. You stupid woman" Jessica held my dress and tried to hit me but Adam pushed her back.
"You dare not blame her. If you had not ruined the perfect moment no one would be talking about Vincent memory" Adam said, distressed and kicked her hands off me.
"Can I see him now?" I asked.
"No! and same goes to you all. I will see the doctor off now" Adam cleared himself and walked off with the doctor and they were talking about something I couldn't hear.
"Bitch" Jessica spat out, and walked away.
"Sincerely, Laura you went too far this time around. If Vincent doesn't remember a thing the I would wish he doesn't remember you forever even if he regain his memory" Brenda added, and walked off too and I was left in the room.
"Where is my son!" Annabelle barged into the house with Adam trying to stop her. Who informed her?.
"I told you he is fine. The doctor said, I should not let anyone in till he is awake" Adam replied as he obstructed Annabelle from going inside.
"He is my son! I need to see him" The woman cried, but Adam just shake his head negatively.
"I'm sorry, my queen" Adam bowed.
"Who did this to him?" She yelled angrily, and tears rolls down my cheeks again.
"I said, who did this to him!" She yelled, and her caught me. I trembled in fear as she approached me.
"If you have anything to do with this, huh. I will make sure you get rid of that baby and get you out of the Blood pack forever just like your stupid pack kicked you out. You are a bad luck to us" She spat out, whispering to my ear and walked to seat on one of the chairs in the living room.
I couldn't take it any longer, I ran off to our room and shut the door behind me as I let out my pain, anger, every mixed emotions I was getting.
I screamed out so loud thinking it would make me feel better but nothing happened.
Petrified by everything happening in just a day, Jessica is carrying Vincent baby at the same time I am too.
He didn't even say a word to me yet he claimed me without telling me the truth. I was unyielding, I didn't mean to hurt him but everyone seems to be going against me.
I warned him to go back and stay away from me but he wouldn't listen!.
I crawled on the floor as grabbed the bed spread while still on the floor and scattered everything leaving the room in total mess.
My fixed ponytail were now in the hair because I had pulled the band and scattered my hair making me look like a total mess.
"Really?. Crying?" I heard Del voice but I didn't stop crying.
"Just go away! I might hurt you too" I replied, still trembling in fear.
My legs were numb and it felt like I wasn't ever going to walk.
"Vincent is going to die and you know that so why are you crying?" Del asked.
"Go away, Del!" I warned.
"Yes, I will if you can stop all this unnecessary cry. Anyway, It would be so hard on you for few weeks because Vincent would lose his memory for real and unfortunately won't remember you neither your child but if he truly loves you the his wolf won't be so stupid to fall for that stupid woman!" Del said, and I turned to her.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked.
"Your baby is still fresh, crying would only hurt you and the bay so stop all this crying and just sleep. I will talk to Adam myself" Del replied.
"No! what do you mean by his wolf won't be so stupid to fall for that woman. Is anyone else in Vincent life?" I asked.
"What!. She is pregnant for him what do you expect?" Del shrugged.
"Huh?"
"Get some sleep" She replied, and stood up from my Vincent table.
"Don't dare show your face to Adam. Do you want everyone thinking I'm crazy or something?" I replied.
"You can disappear, I can't. Don't worry twin sister, go to bed" And with that she vanished again and I was left alone to cry my eye out again.

Del vanished and appeared right at Adam room who was busy gathering some file and Vincent was asleep.
"Shouldn't you be sleeping?" She asked, Adam flinched when he saw her.
"I thought I asked you not to come here!" He scowled at her.
"Relax, man. I'm not Laura" Del pushed him aside and walked to see Vincent still asleep.
"Laura, I've been trying to act calm with you don't push me to the wall" Adam warned.
"I'm Del, Laura twin sister. Nice to meet you" She walked towards him and stretch out her hands for an handshake.
Adam looked so confused.
"Is this some kind of a stupid..." He hasn't finished his words before Del teleported and he looked petrified.
"H...ow did y....o.u" He stuttered.
"I told you I'm Del. Laura twin sister from hell, most of you don't know me but I thought she mentioned me to y'all in the afternoon" She shrugged.
"That's not the point, what are doing here?" He yelled, but Vincent let out a groaned and he turned to Vincent then back at Del who just shrugged.
"Leave!" he whispered.
"Why?' Del asked.
"Because I asked you to. You are in my territory remember?" Adam replied.
"Why are you of all people always acting like a coward?. You saw everything and it's so obvious it's not her fault and neither is it Vincent fault.
"What do you want from me?" Adam asked.
"Don't make my sister feel like a fool. I don't like her either but someone we can't help but feel her pain sometimes. She had suffered and do you know what it's means when your husband is having a mistress?" Del asked, he didn't say a word but he just stared at her.
"If anything happens to her, it would be your loss" Del concluded and vanished out his sight and this time around he was bothered. He turned back to look at Vincent sleeping.
"Do whatever you want man. I have my life to sought out too" He went back to his desk and started working on some paper works.
Meanwhile, Axel had sneaked back to Cora after he was done with Venna. She was still fast asleep and didn't even know her husband was gone and back.
He cuddled her up and slept off too even though his minds was still at Venna.
Venna is trying to outsmart him and the only way to get rid of her is eliminating her. Even though, they had been friends for days he doesn't needs maid as a mistress and Cora is all he needed but Venna is demanding for more.
He liked her but he won't even allow his sister, if he had to ruin his plans all this years so definitely Venna had to vanish like the rest of her member that tried to blackmail him.
What was she even thinking?. Blackmailing him to satisfy her stupid wolf all the time, she had a mate but killed him just to get Axel on her bed.
This isn't possible.
"She needs to die" he muttered.
"Umm" Cora turned to him, still sleeping.
"Nothing baby" He kissed her and she went back to sleep.
