After a few minutes, he came out with the plates and utensils then handed them to us. He went back into the kitchen again and brought out the remaining two plates, mine and his. He handed mine as his green eyes lingered on my face, "Here, Luna."
I took it from him with a smile on my lips, feeling a bit awkward at his stare, "Thanks."
Alpha Clause let go of my hand and wrapped his arm around my waist as he narrowed his eyes at him, but Henry brushed it off and sat down on the wooden chair beside him. I could tell that he was getting possessive of me because of Henry's stare, and I wondered why Henry was looking at me like that.
"Let's dig in." Henry suggested as he grabbed the spoon and began scooping liquid like food into his mouth.
We all stared at him as he started eating with his hands. I wondered if he had never used a fork or a knife before, but I decided to ask him later.
As soon as we were done eating, Alpha Clause glanced at Henry as he said, "We appreciate your hospitality, Henry, and I apologize that we have to ask for your help. We need to get out of this Forbidden Forest, but can't seem to since we don't have a map and have no idea where we're going. Can you have some of your men lead us out of this forest?"
Henry smiled as he looked at Alpha Clause, "I don't know why you're apologizing since I will be honored to help, but I'll have my men escort you out of the Forbidden Forest."
"Thank you." Alpha Clause with a relieved smile on his face, and Alpha Mason nodded with a pleased smile on his face.
"Now let's talk about my proposal to you, the Five, shall we?" Henry said as he sat down with us.
"Alright, what proposal is that?" Alpha Mason asked him, and Alpha Clause nodded in agreement as we all waited for Henry's answer in anticipation while staring at him.
"Well, I know that you need to leave this Forest since it's the Forbidden. That means that you'll have a hard time getting out of here since you'll be pursued by the other creatures living in it unless you have my men to guide you. And as I've said earlier, I can help you. All you have to do is trust me."
"But, what's in it for you?" Luna Ashley asked him skeptically.
I nodded, agreeing with her for once as I added, "Yeah, you haven't told us your proposal."
"Nothing." He glanced at her and then me as he answered us with a shrug, "I just want to help you and to have an alliance with the rulers of the werewolf land. I also know that you're in danger because of the other creatures residing in this forest. On top of that, I also heard that Alpha Ross is wants to take over your packs, so you should hurry up and leave as soon as possible so that you can stop jim."
"What's your name again?" Luna Kasey asked him suddenly, looking at the Elf with interest.
"I'm Henry." He smiled at her before looking back at Alpha Clause and Alpha Mason then me, knowing that these were the decision makers, however, I didn't know why he glanced at me.
"So what do you say? Do we have an alliance? I'll help you when you need it and you'll help me when I need it." He asked them as he looked at the three of us.
The Five Lycan Alphas looked around at each other as if talking telepathically, and maybe they were before Alpha Mason nodded as he said, "We agree, we would love to be in alliance with you, Henry, leader of the Elves."
He grinned, looking pleased with their answer, "I'm glad that you've agreed, Alphas. I need to go now, you can find me through the Mirror of Wisdom with you. My men will meet you at the exit point tomorrow morning."
"Alright, but how would you contact us?" Alpha Nathan asked with a nod, looking curious, as we watched Henry stand up.
"I have my ways." Henry replied with a smirk on his face then walked to a door beside the kitchen door. He opened it and walked through it.
The next day, we all woke up early, feeling excited about meeting Henry again. After breakfast, he went back to his kitchen to pack some food and water for us to use before leaving the forest. As we all set out to leave the hut and the Forbidden Forest, Henry's men walked out from the shadows of the sun and greeted us with a bow.
"Good morning, everyone. I hope that you all slept well." Henry greeted us with a friendly smile.
We all answered with affirmations, and started walking to leave the forest as Alpha Clause took my hand in his, interlacing our fingers. I glanced at him to see a smile on his lips as his alluring dark eyes captured my brown ones. I smiled back at him and turned back to our path just as I saw Henry looking around with a small frown on his brows as if worried about something. Well, we were in the Forbidden Forest, there was always something to worry about.
We didn't see any other beings except for a few birds flying above our heads as we kept walking until we found a small clearing, where there was a large cave which seemed to be the way out of the Forest. Henry and his men enetered the cave first, followed by Alpha Mason, Luna Kat, Alpha Clause, me, Luna Ashley, Alpha Wyatt, Alpha Nathan, Alpha Sloan and Carter.
As we entered the cave, we saw a white light and walked through it to see us out of the Forbidden Forest just where ewe entered it I'm the first place. Our cars were parked some feet away from us.
"We've finally made it out!" Luna Kat exclaimed as a large grin spread on her face.
