I've not seen my mother fight before but I've seen her train and I know she's very good. I looked again and saw lot of wolves that were not ours on the floor.
I was still thinking when I saw my mama move her hand.
"Mama" I called.
I didn't want those people to come and know that she's still alive.
Mama opened her eyes slowly and she looked very weak. I was so happy that I begin to cry. Mama smiled a bitter smile and touched my tearful cheek.
"Don't cry my boy" she said weakly.
"Mama what happened?" I asked sniffing.
"Ahhh be quiet" mama caution since my voice was a bit loud.
I nodded severally.
"Listen carefully to what I want to say to you today, Bounce" she said weakly.
I had to move my ears closer to hers so I could here what she is trying to tell me. My heart was shattered in pieces that tears couldn't stop flowing as I see my ever frivolous mama who was too weak to talk.
"Don't be like your father who is too kind and underestimate people. Make sure you grow so big that you can conquer anything that comes your way. That is the revenge I asked for all these. Look carefully at all those people who ruin your home and killed hundreds of your people make sure they are never able to find their place close to you. Make sure you make them your footstool Bounce. Make sure....." Her voice weavered.
" Mama don't talk anymore. I'll find a way to break us out" I said confidently.
Mama shook her head." It's too late son. I've lost to much blood to survive" she srtuggled to say.
" No we can still do something" I said confident.
I tried to pull her up but because I was so small I couldn't even shift her position but I didn't give up. Papa has always told me not to give up.
"You have to go if you want to live to avenge our death" she groaned.
" No" I shouted forgotten that I was supposed to be silent if I want to rescue my mama. I regret what I did immediately.
"You have to run" mama pleaded.
I looked at her then to the people who were already staring at me, then to my already dead papa whose heart was ripped out and placed beside him. My heart heaved at the brutality at which my parents were murdered. Now I was so desperate to survive. I looked at their faces with a very angry look. The four leaders. Even if I had to pass through the lion's den so as to survive, I would and come back for them.
I began to run thinking they would follow me but to my surprise they didn't even do as if they noticed me. They just went back to their discussion. I was glad they were letting me escape but I didn't stop running. When I thought I was about to leave the pack hall, a werewolf appeared in front of me and grabbed me by the neck that I began to choke. He then shoved me to the wall. I didn't even make a sound when he grabbed me and shoved me. Me been shoved at the wall was the last thing I remember.

I felt so restrained. I couldn't breathe well neither could I move. It was like I was tied down. I then began to struggle.
"Am I dead?" I asked myself.
I won't be shocked if I am dead because I'm just a child and I took such hit and not to forget, I didn't even have a wolf yet. Be that it may, I shouldn't feel imprisoned. I should feel free like the stories I do hear. I heard the afterlife is about your spirit freed from life's struggles. Or is it that there will first be struggle between life and death before one can finally be free? I was even glad that I would be with my parents sooner or will I be in another location entirely?
I had no answers to my questions because it seems like I'm all alone. I tried to open my eyes again just to confirm where I am exactly but it won't open. Then flashed of war, screams, death start to flow through my head. There was great pain everywhere and I saw my little self amist it with a sword. This was quite scary that my body shook. Then suddenly my eyes opened and I sat up looking around to know where I am. It was then I noticed I'm in my room and I had another terrifying dream like other nights. These dreams hunt me everyday like shadows but they don't weaken me.
I stood up and went into the bathroom to freshen up. Looking at the walk clock, it was past my training time. I overslept today. If it was a normal day, I would have been up as early as 4 a.m to do my training. I wore my training pants and head out. On getting to the training field, I met my men there. Before it would have been the other way round. Even they themselves were surprised that I didn't get to the field earlier. I could see it on there faces. They all bowed to greet me waiting for me to tell them to rise, which I did immediately because I need to train so as to cover the time I had lost.
Introducing myself, it's none else than me Bounce. The boy who was thrown to the wall. I now have a pack and a large one at that. The largest in the whole of the werewolf pack. I know you are wondering how I did it in such a short time. How I was able to have a pack that is the strongest in the whole of the werewolf world. The truth is that, it's not in anyway a short time. It was a very long and painful time. It took me a hundred and twenty three years of pain and suffering to finally achieve my mother's request.
