"I protest, I object," Lin Tian immediately raised his hand to express disagreement. Although he didn’t know how the trash can had suddenly exploded, his intuition told him it was definitely related to that little girl, Zhang Lingyu.
"Why?" Xiao Manxuan asked in surprise.
Lin Tian reached out to turn on the light inside the car, and the brightness suddenly filled the space. He said, "Take a look for yourself!"
"Ah! Lin Tian, what are you doing? Are you being a hooligan?" After seeing Lin Tian’s nearly naked beggar attire, Xiao Manxuan screamed and quickly covered her eyes.
Zhang Lingyu held back her laughter, her face flushed, and she turned her head away. Only after Lin Tian turned off the light did Xiao Manxuan open her eyes.
"It’s not my fault. Maybe he fell and ended up ," Zhang Lingyu raised her hand in denial. "I’m just a weak woman, where would I get the strength to do this to you?"
"Right," Xiao Manxuan nodded and said, "Lin Tian, hurry up and drive, it’s going to get dark soon."
"Could a fall really result in this? Oh Lord, just strike me with lightning!" Lin Tian wailed inwardly. A good man doesn’t fight with a woman; ignoring you should be enough, right?
Starting the car and stepping on the gas, Lin Tian drove away from the parking lot. Throughout the journey, the two women chattered incessantly, completely ignoring Lin Tian as if he was invisible.
Zhang Lingyu didn’t seem to want to get out of the car either, and really followed them all the way back to the Xiao Mansion. Xiao Manxuan even invited her to come home and play, to see her Little Hua.
It seemed Zhang Lingyu couldn’t be sent away. Lin Tian was thinking whether he should also give her buttocks a few smacks; otherwise, she won’t know who’s the boss.
Unpacking his school uniform, Lin Tian decided to take a comfortable bath to change out of his beggar clothes. However, when he turned on the bathroom’s hot water tap, not a single drop came out. Undeterred, he opened the cold water tap, still no water.
Could he really be this unlucky? Not allowed to bathe, and to find out there’s no water only after undressing; could there be anything more unfortunate?
Lin Tian covered himself with the school uniform and walked to the door to peek around, noticing that the servants were nowhere to be found. Xiao Manxuan and Zhang Lingyu were in the back looking at Little Hua, leaving Lin Tian alone in the villa. It was strange to think that in such a large mansion, there were hardly any servants. Perhaps the Xiao Family just didn’t have many people, Lin Tian could only guess this.
He sprinted to the stairs and dashed upstairs. The bathrooms there were empty, and it would be a waste not to use them; that’s what Lin Tian thought.
There were several rooms on the third floor. Lin Tian pushed a few doors, but they were all closed. He ran to the other side and found one room with the door ajar.
He pushed the door open and dashed inside. The rooms here were all quite similar, and he didn’t know who usually stayed here. The bathroom was filled with the fresh scent of shower gel, and the floor was still wet.
Had a cleaning staff come and cleaned it? Lin Tian shook his head, placed his clothes properly, and tried turning on the hot water without giving it another thought; taking a bath was his top priority.
"Whoosh whoosh whoosh..."
The hot water sprayed out with steam, falling on the clean white tiles. The showerhead here was excellent, hanging overhead with a wide range, and when the hot water poured out, the rising steam made it feel like showering in a warm rain.
That was great, Lin Tian called out in comfort as he soaked in the hot water. There was actually a bathtub in the bathroom, but Lin Tian didn’t like using it; somehow, he always associated it with a toilet.
After the bath, Lin Tian realized he hadn’t taken a towel with him, He picked up the brand-new uniform and hesitated before deciding not to use it to wipe his body.
Naked, Lin Tian ran out to look around and found a white towel on the bed. As he reached out to grab it to wipe himself, the towel revealed what was hidden underneath.
Surprisingly, beneath the white towel lay a woman’s undergarments, which Lin Tian noted were somewhat large. He curiously estimated their size and concluded that they were not something he could grasp with one hand. There were also other pieces of clothing—it was a complete set, all accounted for.
Why would there be women’s clothes here? They shouldn’t belong to Xiao Manxuan, as they didn’t seem like her style. That left Mrs. Xiao and Miss as possibilities, but the Miss seldom came home, making it more likely they were Mrs. Xiao’s.
But were they really Mrs. Xiao’s or the Miss’s? Lin Tian shook his head, thinking he must be out of his mind to be considering such a trivial question.
"Who’s there? What are you doing in my room?" A delicate yet angry voice came from behind Lin Tian.
He turned and saw a tall woman lifting the curtain and walking in, bringing a gust of wind with her stride.
The woman was in her early twenties, with slightly raised willow brows and beautiful eyes swirling with annoyance. Her cheeks were as white as warm jade, and she wore a loose silk blouse which did little to hide her shapely figure. Her black, shining hair and her long legs were particularly striking.
Damn, her legs are even longer than Xiao Manxuan’s, that was Lin Tian’s first thought. But when they both regained their senses, they screamed in shock.
Because Lin Tian was still undressed, and what made the situation even more misinterpreted was that he was holding a piece of women’s clothing in his hand.
"What do you want, beauty? I’m an honest man," Lin Tian quickly grabbed the uniform to cover himself and spoke out first, as if he were the one being indecently approached by the beauty.
Lucky his reflexes were quick, Lin Tian inwardly gave his quick thinking a hundred thumbs up. A blush appeared on the beauty’s face, but it quickly vanished, and the chill on her face intensified after hearing his words.
This woman was no ordinary woman. In such situations, most women would flee in shame and hurl insults while running. But she didn’t move an inch; even her momentary panic and blush were fleeting.
"You’re an honest man? Then why are you in my room, holding my underwear? Who are you? Why are you here at the Xiao Mansion? If you don’t give me a good explanation, I’ll cripple you right here and now. You’ve got one chance to answer, so think carefully," Although the beauty was young, she exuded a strong demeanor, or rather, a killing intent!
Ever since Lin Tian became a zombie, his senses were incredibly sharp, allowing him to clearly sense her aura and breath.
But who was Lin Tian? He was willing to have a nice talk, but this little girl had started by threatening to cripple him. Enraged yet holding his temper, Lin Tian tied the uniform around his waist and stared back wide-eyed.

"All talk, no action. Wait until I break your legs and throw you out, then see what you have to say!" the beauty said as she moved quickly towards Lin Tian, her speed so fast it stirred up a whirlwind inside the room.
The whirlwind hitting Lin Tian nearly blew away the uniform shielding his modesty.
What’s with this woman, exploding with such speed all of a sudden? Lin Tian was stunned, his mind struggling to grasp the situation.
