“Where am I? This definitely isn't my room.”
My name is Brian Wood. 22 years old university student. I was just in my room opening 1st edition Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon packs and now I’m in a strange cave.
In the dimly lit cave, the only thing that catches my attention is a basketball sized orb on a pedestal of some kind. The orb is shining with a mysterious light that overpowers the ambient light of the cave. I look around the cave and cannot see an exit.
“Is this really another world? Am I in an anime?”
That was the first thing that came to mind. I mean, how else do you explain instant movement to a weird cave with a magical light orb. How do I even know it’s magical, that’s simple, it feels magical.
“Maybe I need to touch it?”
I just feel like I must. Am I charmed by the orb? Or is it cursed and I’m cursed to stay in this room forever. I really hope not. My Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon packs are waiting for me on my desk. I didn’t even get to open them.
“I really hope this orb can take me back. Now I know one of those packs has a Blue Eyes in it and the universe, or maybe the multiverse is preventing me from opening it. Oh orb of light, guide me home to my cards.”
I reach out my hand and touch the orb. It doesn’t feel hot or even warm. It just feels like a polished stone sphere.
“Is it’s shine fading? No, don’t curse me to eternal slumber in this cave.”
I try to remove my hand from the orb, but can’t. My hand is stuck to it. And the light of the orb is being absorbed by my hand.
“Am I really going to be the reason that I spend the rest of my days in some cave? I should have guessed that I would be my ultimate undoing.”
As the orbs shine vanishes the cave lights up. Like was the orb a light switch or something. Why would removing light from the orb give light to the cave? That makes no sense.
As I think that a panel appears before me.
“ What??? Am I in a Yugioh game world or something.”
(No. Master has entered a world outside his own and the world has rewarded master for destroying a rogue dungeon with an appropriate skill.)
A strange voice speaks in my head. It sounds like my girlfriend. Well ex-girlfriend now since she did leave me cause I spend “too much money” on my Yugioh cards. I guess some will never understand what collecting is like. A lot of cards I could have gotten would more than pay for all my packs. Like if I got a Blue Eyes White Dragon from my 1st edition packs I could sell it for like 1000$ at least. That’s twice what I paid for the packs. It’s double my investment and all I need is a little bit of luck. Not that I would sell a Blue Eyes if I got one.
“So mystery voice that sounds like my ex. Who or what are you?”
(I am Basic support system. Rewarded to master by the Goddess.)
“Oh yeah. It does say I unlocked some things. Can you explain them or do I have to start guessing.”
(Masters unique skill is (Pack Opener). Master can open packs and gain cards from them. Cards can be used to summon creatures or perform magic.)

(Yes. Masters current daily limit is 1 pack per day and the only pack Master can open is ‘Legend of Blue Eyes White Dragon’.)
“Okay… So how do I open these packs?”
(1 pack Master. You can open them from your status screen. Open status screen by thinking ‘status’ or by saying it aloud.)
“Does that mean I’m weak or am I strong?”
(Average 20 year old level 1 human of this world is weaker, having around 50 HP, 50 Mana, 30 Strength, 30 Defense and 30 Magic. But 20 year old level ones are rare so most 20 year olds would have slightly higher stats. Between 70-90 HP and mana and between 45-60 on others. Masters HP, Mana and Defense are quite high for a level 1.)
“Well at least I’m not super weak. And if I’m going to be a summoner having high defense but lower offense is not that bad.”

“So I can control it with either touch or just thought. That’s nice. Does everyone see this screen or just me?”
(Only Master can see the screen normally but if Master says ‘status open’ everyone can see it.)
“That’s good to know, now let’s get this pack opened.”
I touch on the ‘Pack Opener’ skill.
A different kind of panel opens up in front of me.
I touch the ‘Legend of Blue Eyes’ part and a warning appears.
9 floating cards appear before me. What? I don’t get the pack to rip open. That’s a little disappointing. This is like an online pack opening simulator. That’s not as fun. I guess I just have to deal with this if I want to open anything.
I start flipping the cards one by one.
Wow! I got a Pot of Greed. That’s a good card.
