Thirteen monsters, and within just under thirty seconds of the battle beginning, Zhang Xiaoman had already taken down three. Looking over at the Star Guards, they too had each claimed a victory.

After completing this series of movements, the last Little Refining Demon’s attack was already almost upon him.
Zhang Xiaoman reacted swiftly, immediately raising the Purple Cloud Divine Sword to block. There was a ’crack’ sound as the monster tragically broke its own claw on the attack.
Seizing the opportunity, Zhang Xiaoman swung his sword, instantly decapitating it, then kicked the still-moving body away.

As his gaze shifted, Zhang Xiaoman suddenly saw the remaining Little Refining Demon had jumped to Brother Hero’s car window, smashed the glass with its claws, and was attempting to grab someone inside.
His face changed slightly upon seeing this, and he quickly pulled out the Water Bullet Gun from his pocket, lightly pulling the trigger. Two Holy Water Bullets shot out immediately, hitting the target!
At that moment, the Little Refining Demon was halfway through the window when it got hit in the butt with two bullets, causing it to scream in agony. Its body was wildly twitching in the car window, and it soon stopped moving.
Brother Hero inside was scared pale, shrinking to the other side of the car.
Seeing this scene, Zhang Xiaoman felt an eerie sense of déjà vu. He glanced at Brother Hero inside the car with a curious look, wondering if his earlier guess might actually be right—did this guy truly have some bizarre passive skill?
Raising the sword, he chopped off the head of a Little Refining Demon attempting to sneak attack. Swinging the gun around, Zhang Xiaoman aimed at another creature running towards him. Two bullets later, another charred body fell.
