A sound of slicing through something was heard. Zhang Xiaoman sidestepped to avoid the Little Refining Demon’s claw, and simultaneously, the Purple Cloud Divine Sword in his hand swung with the momentum, cutting the monster in two in an instant under the force of the inertia and power.
Brother Hero inside the car was utterly dumbfounded by the scene. Was this guy always this fierce? What happened to the fragile Mage character?
Zhang Xiaoman killed a monster with a single strike, but the fight had just begun.
About 5 meters away, two more Little Refining Demons joined the fray at this moment.
They both targeted Zhang Xiaoman, one leaping from the left side of the car roof, the other climbing up a Stone Pillar and hanging upside down above Zhang Xiaoman’s head before leaping down ferociously, aiming straight for the latter’s skull.
Facing consecutive attacks from front and back, Zhang Xiaoman, despite lacking any combat skills, had his swift neural responses ready to take appropriate action.
He slightly bent his body, first dodging the claws of the Little Refining Demon, and then, with a vigorous thrust of his left elbow, he struck its chest with a powerful Impact.
