Conni knew the Island Master and had thought he could persuade him.
Not only had he failed to convince the Island Master of Flame Island, but he had also been thrown into the dungeon and had sent a distress signal.

Susan didn't continue the conversation. She crouched slightly, moving like a panther deeper into the island.
The three stopped at the edge of a dense forest.
"The dungeon is just ahead," Susan whispered, pointing to a small door in front of them. "According to our investigation, the dungeon is guarded by the three brothers of the Paul family, all of whom are Peak Knights."
"Together, the three of them can take on a Great Knight!"
"The main problem is that the dungeon is also full of traps and more guards, making a stealthy infiltration difficult."

"Impressive!" Quincy exclaimed, his eyes sparkling. "You truly live up to Miss Lula's high praise, Carl. Your methods are indeed remarkable."
There were at least dozens of people here, yet Carl took them all down so effortlessly. Quincy couldn't help but be impressed.
Susan shook her head. In her opinion, this Great Knight named Quincy might be skilled, but he was too arrogant.
Carl was not just a Pharmacist. He was also a Great Knight!
But Quincy hadn't mentioned it at all during their journey, apparently not thinking that Carl, who had only recently advanced, was very strong.
Carl smiled without a word.

"Of course!" Quincy grinned, reaching behind him to take down the short wooden club. With a light flick, it transformed into a Long Spear.
The bright silver blade of the Long Spear flashed in the darkness, and its cold killing intent made Susan instinctively tense up.
No matter how much she disliked him, he was undeniably a genuine Great Knight; his strength was not to be underestimated.
The trio's movements finally caught the attention of the guards ahead. Accompanied by a loud shout, a group of men quickly rushed over.
The approaching men carried torches. In the flickering firelight, a group of emaciated, haggard-looking guards came into view. These men were all sallow and gaunt, their clothes ragged, though the weapons in their hands were still serviceable.
"Heh..." Seeing this, Quincy sneered, "Haven't you lot had a decent meal? If you can't even fill your stomachs, what makes you think you can fight me?"
He held his Long Spear, and with a slight flick of his wrist, the shaft vibrated, emitting a deep, powerful hum.
With a low shout, Quincy charged into the crowd with his Long Spear.
The terrifying power of a Great Knight could easily shatter a boulder; flesh and blood were no match for him.
Battle Aura flared, pressing down on the crowd and forcing them to retreat continuously.
Though one side was outnumbered, the battle was like scything grass; the dungeon guards simply couldn't stop a Great Knight.
Figure after figure fell to the ground.
Seeing their line of defense about to collapse, one of them roared to the sky, eyes blazing with a fiery light, and lunged at Quincy with outstretched arms.
The others emulated him, some even discarding their weapons, charging like madmen.
What's going on? Quincy raised an eyebrow and thrust his Long Spear fiercely. They couldn't even handle him when armed; what good would throwing away their weapons do? Were they seeking death?
"Be careful!" Carl suddenly called out from behind. "They're going to self-destruct!"
