As for the person who spoke, it was clear he was the guard responsible for the 'young master,' and he probably hadn't been able to stand Emma's actions for a long time.
"Now is not the time to talk about this." Conni reacted the fastest, glanced back at the increasingly numerous pursuers, and stepped forward with his weapon in hand, declaring, "Take it down!"
"You dare!" Emma stretched out her hands, blocking the shark-man, and yelled angrily, "No one is allowed to hurt my son!"
"Madam, your son is already dead. What's behind you now is a man-eating monster," Conni said sternly, "Step aside!"
Emma waved her hand. "Get lost!" she snapped, and vines shot up from the ground.
"Do it!" Hawke charged forward, trident in hand.
"Stop!" Lula activated Dragon King's Fury and stood before Emma. The members of the Dragon King Chamber of Commerce also drew their swords, taking a hostile stance.
For a moment, more and more shark-people gathered outside, and those within the field clearly divided into two distinct factions.
"What are you doing?" Conni roared, "With this monster, we are the ones who will die! Do you all want to be buried with it because of one monster?"
"Friends from the Dragon King Chamber of Commerce, think carefully!"
Upon hearing this, the members of the Dragon King Chamber of Commerce hesitated. Their hostility gradually subsided, and more of them looked towards Emma.
Emma sensed something was wrong, and her face changed drastically. "Thinking of rebelling, are you? Nobody should even think…"
Before she finished speaking, the 'young master' behind her, as if tired of the corpse in its hands, suddenly pounced on her back. Its gaping maw revealed fangs as it viciously bit into her neck. One bite tore out a large piece of flesh.
Just as the others saw, it was merely a monster, incapable of distinguishing who was kind to it. It possessed only the instinct for blood!
AAAH! Emma cried out in pain.
"Mother!" Lula's face changed drastically. Raising her hand and clenching her fist, she threw a punch at the 'young master.'
"Don't!" Emma cried. Despite the monster eating her flesh, she was terrified Lula might hurt her son and quickly moved aside to dodge.
"Mother!" Lula yelled desperately, tears in her eyes. "My brother is dead! He's dead! Dead!" she cried out, "You still have me, your daughter Lula! Don't… don't bother with that monster anymore!"
She had endured her mother for a long, long time, and now her pent-up anger finally erupted.
"A monster?" Emma's expression was crazed as she slapped her hand out. "You actually say your brother is a monster!"
"Yes!" Lula was slapped across the face, her cheek swelling instantly. She stared intently at the man-eating shark-man. "He is a monster! He's a monster!"
"RAAAGH!" With that, she recklessly leaped forward.
The mother and daughter fought with the shark-man, without any moves or Battle Skills, only madness.
A roar that shook the surroundings also snapped the onlookers back to reality.

The distant earth trembled. Three terrifying presences approached at astonishing speed, joined by countless shark-people who surged like a tidal wave from all directions.
Carl turned and violently lifted the bewildered Ayala beside him. "Go! Hurry up!"
His figure flickered, fleeing towards Lym Canyon.
The others did the same. Even Sea God Hawke could only call out to those around him to run wildly in one direction.
Dust rose in every direction as the sounds of combat grew closer and closer.
Lula knelt on the ground, covered in mud. As the shark-people and the three Legendary Creatures surrounded her, she suddenly burst into bitter laughter.
Die! she thought. To die would be to be clean.
"You can't die." Opposite her, Emma held the 'young master,' her hands tightly wrapped around its body. "Lula… my daughter."
Emma slowly lifted her head. The madness in her eyes had receded at some point, leaving behind an indescribably complex expression.
"Mother," Lula spoke dumbfoundedly.
Emma opened her mouth, but no sound came out; only vines grew from within her body.
Emma's roar echoed to the heavens. As the essence of her life burned furiously, her body, at an astonishing speed, transformed into a towering tree, its drooping branches enveloping Lula within.
And that shark-man, at the last moment, finally slipped from Emma's grasp, only to be pierced by countless vines and turned into nourishment for the towering tree.
Carl glanced at Lym Canyon ahead, then at the pursuers behind, and sighed helplessly. Susan, Dana, Conni… All those familiar faces were behind him.
"Ayala, you go first."
"Uncle," Ayala said, startled.
"It's okay." Carl waved his hand. "I'm going to help the others. I'll be fine."
Without waiting for a response, he turned and charged towards the incoming shark-people.
On the run, Carl stuffed various enhancing Demonized Items into his mouth, swallowing them whole. Then:

The ground thunderously trembled, and stone pillars erupted, impaling shark-people one after another on the spot.
Carl bellowed, "Come at me!" Wielding a huge sword in each hand, he charged into the crowd of shark-people, his blades swinging and shattering countless stones.
Stones indeed! Anything struck by his giant swords would petrify, naturally turning them into stone.
With various witchcraft spells enhancing him, everything near Carl seemed to enter a swamp, their movements slowing, like lambs to the slaughter. And the pair of giant swords in his hands grew ever more deadly.
In an instant, an unknown number of shark-people fell beneath his twin blades. The Whale Bell hanging on his body rang continuously, supplying him with a constant stream of life essence.
「After an unknown amount of time.」
An exhausted Carl looked at the Legendary Creatures charging at him, shrugged his shoulders, and his figure shrank, disappearing on the spot.
