Previously, whenever Chafne went out, unless unexpected, she would only bring Liel with her, while other lieutenants needed to stay behind in Enchanting Demon City, to manage affairs in the city and the Enchanting Demon Territory.
This time, possibly due to the upcoming Three Clans' meeting and the unrest inside the Demon Realm recently, after Liel's suggestion, Chafne decided to increase the lieutenants accompanying her from one to three.
