Luoqi really wanted to pry Shane’s head open to see exactly what was inside.
Inviting a girl to stay overnight at his place?

“Who’s acting?” Luoqi felt embarrassed, yet glared angrily at Shane, warning him, “I’ll tell you, I came back with you because you’re about to leave, so I wanted you to spend more time with me. It’s not what you think… so don’t you dare!”
As she spoke, Luoqi herself became so embarrassed she was speaking in a panic.
“I get it, I get it.” Shane nodded earnestly, grinning and saying, “After all, we are people of status; when it’s time to keep up appearances, we should do so properly, especially since there’s nobody else here, right?”
“Right my foot!” Luoqi was instantly annoyed, pushing Shane away and exclaiming loudly, “I didn’t say that just as a cover! I’m serious!”
“Yes, yes, serious, absolutely serious.” Shane nodded again earnestly.
Luoqi was almost driven mad with irritation.
But at the same time, she couldn’t help but realize.
“Have I just walked into a trap?”
