Chapter 123: 122 Crying Out in Loneliness (Third update, plea for subscriptions and Monthly tickets!)
Hearing Shane’s voice, Beddo’s eyes flashed, his brows furrowed tightly.
“Could they have another ace up their sleeve?”
Beddo’s face turned incredibly dark, and he began to think about retreating.
The unpredictability of Shane, Vivian, and Tielle had already turned what Beddo thought was a surefire operation into one full of surprises. Now, not only had he failed to rescue Killian, but he had also sustained an injury nearly fatal. If the other side had any more tricks up their sleeve, Beddo, despite his resentment, had no desire to stay here any longer.
After all, there would be plenty of time in the future; once his wounds were healed, he would surely find an opportunity to return and make everyone pay for today.

The lead member of the Old Demon Clan under Beddo’s command reacted, shouted in a low voice, and caused all the Old Demon Clan members to start Chanting Defensive Magic spells simultaneously. This incited ripples of Magic Power, forming Barriers or magical walls in front of everyone.
This reaction could not be called slow.
When everyone expected a monumental clash, there was only a gust of wind blowing by, kicking up clouds of dust.
Beddo and the other Old Demon Clan members were instantly filled with question marks in their heads.
Bellen’s face turned red as he felt subtly embarrassed.
Nothing happened at the scene.
Just as Beddo was puzzled, two figures stepped out from behind Bellen.
Those two were Leon and Udilis, who had been protected during the Old Demon Clan Faction’s ambush because they were with Vivian, and thus were not killed.
The two of them had followed Vivian to the scene and had slipped into the crowd, only now revealing themselves.
“Let me do it, Mr. Bellen!”
“That’s right! How dare they attack our camp! Let Leon and I make them pay the price!”
With righteous indignation, Leon and Udilis each called out, holding their own “Magic Tools.”
“⟨If you’re a man, come top me!⟩”
The two of them shouted loudly and resonantly.
That Old Demon Clan subordinate issued the order once more, causing the surrounding Old Demon Clan members to begin Chanting the Defense series Magic Spell again, activating Defense Magic, intending to block the upcoming attack.
But this time, again, nothing happened.
The scene fell into an indescribable silence.
The next second, all the knights and adventurers holding “Magic Tools” shouted out loud.

In an instant, it was like a dance of demons, as everyone from the Human Race started to chant “Magic Spells” , each shouting louder than the last.
But this loud and spirited yelling resulted only in silence, leaving everyone shouting into loneliness.
Yet, everyone thought they weren’t shouting loud enough, so they yelled angrily, one after another, until their faces turned red and their necks thickened.
Shane burst out laughing.
Meanwhile, members of the Old Demon Clan Faction looked at each other in confusion before all turning to Beddo.
Beddo’s face was grim, seeming to feel he’d been played, and the fire in his eyes turned into a tangible killing intent, squashing any thoughts of retreat.
“Kill them all! Show no mercy until they’re all dead!”
Beddo was completely overwhelmed by fury.
At this point, the members of the Old Demon Clan no longer hesitated and burst forth again, charging forward.
Vivian was about to rush out to block them but was held back by Shane.
Shane watched the Old Demon Clan Faction members rush over with a bellyful of rage, then glanced at Beddo, whose mind was clouded by fury, and the corner of his mouth turned up.
“Now it’s really time.”
Under Shane’s watchful gaze, the attackers from the Old Demon Clan arrived.
Leon and Udilis, who had just stepped forward to make a move, were the first to confront the ruthless executioners.
The two of them suddenly showed terrified expressions and quickly shouted.

Beddo finally showed a terrified expression and cried out.
But this time, it was Beddo who cried out in loneliness, to no effect.
Had the members of the Old Demon Clan been on guard, using Defensive Magic, and spread out from each other, it would have been rather improbable to harvest them all with a single spell.

And that was Shane’s goal all along.
To ensure that not a single person from the Old Demon Clan Faction would escape by luck and to prevent Beddo from retreating, Shane had staged this play.
In the end, every single member of the Old Demon Clan was reduced to char, collapsing to the ground.
