Margaret stared at Susana in fury. It's over, it's all over. The disguise is over. She had blown her covers. She had revealed who she truly is to her daughter. Game up!!
"What have you done, mother Susana?" Margaret bellowed. She's a young woman, she doesn't know what it means to be a mother or be affectionate towards one's child.
But Susana had gone back on her vows. Things can no longer be the same anymore. She's vowed her life to the creator but now, she suddenly has forgotten the sacredness of those vows.
"It's my daughter. She's going to hurt herself. I will not be able to forgive myself if Pamela does anything to hurt herself.." Susana declared in agitation.
Margaret stared at her. She hasn't realised that she had said what she shouldn't have said. She hasn't known yet. All that her brain can process is Pamela.
"Did you realise you just revealed who you are to your daughter? Do you know the implications of that?" Margaret reprimanded.
Suddenly Susana's senses seemed to have been reset. She glared at Margaret and then her phone. That's when she realised the phone had not been disconnected.
It only means that Pamela heard them. She heard how in fear she revealed her identity and next how she just exchanged words with Margaret.
She took the phone away from Margaret and hung up. Only then did Margaret also realise the shit they both have done.
They stared at each other speechless.
Pamela was on the balcony. She was going to jump from that height and kill herself when Susana called her.
She only paused to reply. Her grandmother had stepped out of her bedroom to answer Alyana's screaming out for her to step out.
They both stood below, pleading with Pamela not to do anything silly. Grandma Clarion was sobbing profusely. It seemed she was destined to die in pain.
Alice is no more and now, Pamela would commit suicide and right before her eyes. She knew she wouldn't be able to survive the shock that will follow.
The three generations of mothers counting from her would die in such a painful way. Why was she destined to have such a fate?
If Pamela will not listen to her, then she will sit and wait for her death. She would be waiting to die.
But then, Pamela suddenly paused and she seemed shocked. She glared at her phone and placed her other hand on her chest.
Pamela's complexion turned ashen and she seemed to be breathing heavily. She cannot comprehend the words Susana spoke to her a while ago.
In a split second, a million thoughts crossed her mind. Alice Johnson is declared dead but her tomb was not found till that moment.
The man who took her remains to be buried disappeared with the corpse and ten years ago, he was found dead.
She claimed to know her mother very much. She sobbed profusely when she went to meet with her. She veiled her face and wouldn't want her to see her face.
The presents she received, her grandma found it odd and said it reminded her of Alice. Those colours and scarf were peculiar to her daughter Alice.
Several thoughts crossed her mind that Pamela didn't know when Alyana came over and pulled her to herself screaming "Princess! Please don't hurt yourself princess Pamela"
Soon Clarion came over, her eyes were filled with tears. She had sobbed. She had thought her life was at the brink of being ended.
Alice died. Tarvan is gone and now, Pamela will die. She can't take it all in. She wished that the creator would take her life and give it to Pamela for another ten thousands of years.
While Pamela's teary eyes stared at her grandma, Clarion couldn't curtail her displeasure that she slapped Pamela across her face.
She pulled Pamela by her night dress and started yelling into her face "Just kill me now Pamela. Go ahead, kill me!
Alice left me and now you want to leave me too? Just take a knife, drive it through my belly Pamela. It would be better for me than to witness your death and die of pain and emptiness.
I loved you but how have you decided to pay me, by committing suicide? Before you join Alice in the great beyond, let me go first. Let me not see the death of the only child I have left. Kill me Pamela Johnson!!!"
Clarion yanked Pamela off and started sobbing. Pamela was also sobbing loudly and she held her grandma tightly, sobbing and forcing a hug on her.
Clarion held her and they kept sobbing on each other's shoulders. Pamela tried to calm herself and said "It's a lie. It's not true. I've met her grandma" She stuttered.
Clarion swallowed hard and sniffled. She raised herself to stare at her granddaughter and asked "Who? Is the person the reason why you contemplated suicide?"
"No grandma. I mean your daughter, my own mother…I've met her. She's alive. She's not dead. Alice Johnson is still alive grandma" Pamela explained, suddenly developing hiccups.
