Weeks later, Michael took Nora to the hospital for check up and to know the gender of the baby. The doctor attended to her with the nurses beside him. "Looks like you have one healthy baby in your womb." The doctor told her with a broad smile on his face. Michael and Nora couldn't help but smile too.
"What is the gender of the baby?" Michael asked.
"It's a baby boy," The doctor told them.
Nora was very happy. "I guess the baby has a name already," Michael told Nora and she nodded. He stared at her for a long time when she wasn't looking and when their eyes met, he asked, "Are you happy?" Nora was stunned by the question. "It's been a while I saw you smile so brightly."
"It's obvious that your wife would put to birth soon so I will suggest that you get the baby things ready." The doctor told them.
"Thank you, doctor."
"Congratulations!" He shook Michael's hands and left the room while Michael and Nora continued the conversation.
"What if it turns out to be a baby girl, would you still be happy?"
Nora sighed but that didn't stop her from smiling. She looked at him, held his hands together and said, "It doesn't matter to me if it is a boy or a girl, all that matters is that I have you with me and the child coming out from my womb, is a child that you put in. If it is a girl child, I can call her Andy," She smiled and Michael smiled too. "I am sure Andrew would be very happy."
"You think so?"
Nora nodded. "I know Andrew might seem like a tough guy but the truth is that he is only looking out for his little sister and only family he has left."
"Andrew loves you a whole lot."
Nora nodded. "When I was little, he was the only who understood me. He knew what my silence meant and what my tears meant. Strangely, I was attached to him than I was to my mom." she smiled.
Michael hugged her. "It must have been hard on you."
Nora nodded. "That is all in the past now. Let's go and start preparing for the arrival of the baby. I will be taking Sara with me to get the baby stuffs." Michael nodded and they left the hospital.

"I can't believe that you will soon have the baby but what will that make me? Will I be his aunt or godmother?" Sara asked as she was picking up things for the baby and putting them in the trolley.
"You can be anything you want, even the mother of the baby, " Nora teased and Sara smiled.
Nora could notice the Sara has been sad lately but she hasn't had time to ask her. Now would be the right time to ask her.
"These clothes look nice, I am sure they would suit him." She took them and threw them in the trolley.
"Sara, is there something you'd like to tell me?" Nora asked. Sara was shocked at the question that she froze. "You haven't been the lively Sara I know and you have been giving me this smile that shows that you are sad but you are just trying to hide it." she moved closer to her and held her hand. "You have always been there for me, I want to be there for you too." She paused and waited for Sara to say anything but she didn't. She didn't want to push further. If Sara wasn't ready to share what is wrong, then she shouldn't push it.
She was about to go back to the trolley when Sara said, "I broke up with Kelvin." Nora's eyes opened in shock. "I know our relationship didn't even get to see the broad daylight but it was for the best."
"Wait! why did you break up with him? "
"He is still in love with you, Nora. "
"What?"
"I noticed it that day we all met. At first, I thought that I didn't mind and he needed time to get over you but I wasn't sure if he will ever be able to and I don't want to be an option to someone, I want to be a choice, an asset not a liability."
"If you want him to get over me, then you need to be with him more. You need to fill his heart with your presence, that is the only way to get rid of me."
Sara sighed. "I don't know, Nora. It is not as easy as it sounds."
"I know. I want this to be the nineteenth and last relationship. You should mend the bridges now that the crack is still fixable."
Sara thought about it and she knew Nora was right. Maybe she shouldn't have broken up with him but held unto him instead.
"Do you think he will accept me back? I just broke his heart."
"How many times did I break your heart?"
"I lost count." Sara answered in a funny way that made Nora smile.
"And did you accept me back?"
"I did because I love you and you mean so much to me."
"If he loves you and you mean so much to him, I bet he will accept you back. Who knows what is going on his mind right now?"
"I guess I should go and see him." Sara said.
"Only do that when you are ready to accept him because I know that Kelvin wouldn't give up on you that easily." Sara smiled and they continued to get more things. "You know, I never envisaged you and Kelvin together."
"Me neither. It just sort of happened." Sara answered. "I didn't envisage you and Michael together either. I was thinking it would be between Diego and Kelvin."
"Love is complicated. Even the wisest man on earth might not even be able to explain it. Sometime we fall in love with people that doesn't love us and sometimes people that loves us, we don't love them back. Love can cause pain and at the same time can be the cure. Love doesn't just happen in a certain way, it happens in diverse kind of ways and maybe that is why we can't really explain it."
"How love seems to be the greatest gift of all would be because it's something that we all need."
Nora nodded. "Are we done?"
Sara checked the list of things in her hands. "That is all. We can pay for it and go home."
Nora nodded as they went to the counter to pay for the things they bought.
