Nora arrived Sara's house late and Sara was a little bit worried. Seeing her at the door, she quickly rushed to meet her. "What took you so long?" Sara asked. She took the groceries she bought and some other things from her and set them on the table while she waited for Nora to sit down.
Her sad countenance made Sara realize that something was wrong. "What happened to you? I thought you'd be happy we are having a sleep over. I wasn't expecting this kind of expression." Sara sat beside her while waiting for Nora to talk but she didn't say anything. "If you don't want to sleep over, you could have told me and we would have postponed it to another day..."
Sara was still talking when Nora looked at her and said, "Kelvin kissed me." All of a sudden, Sara stopped talking with her eyes opened wide.
"Wait! What?!" she asked.
"Diego saw it and he didn't talk to me." Nora added.
"Double what?"
"Kelvin was drunk and he was asking some weird questions and..."
"Wait! What kind of weird questions?" Sara cuts in.
"He asked me why I didn't love and why I didn't see him the way I saw Diego. He was confessing his feelings to me, Sara."
"Was he drunk?" Sara asked.
Nora nodded. "I don't know if I should take it seriously or just accept the fact that he was drunk and that was why he was..."
Sara shook her head. "Kelvin loves you. Even though he was drunk when he said this, he was speaking out his mind. But how did Diego find out?"
"Kelvin was drunk and I called Diego to pick me up but he didn't pick up. I waited for a long time and when there was no sign of him, I decided to take him home myself but before I knew what was happening, his lips landed on mine and just then Diego called my name. We got Kelvin into the car but Diego didn't say a word to me before driving off."
Sara thought about the whole thing. "That means Diego is in love with you too?" Sara asked. "Michael broke up with you but then men are falling head over heels in love with you, shouldn't you be happy?"
"How is this a thing of Joy, Sara?"
Sara ignored her question and went with the flow. "How was the kiss?" she asked.
Nora looked at her friend in disbelief. "How can you even ask that and this state?"
"Just tell me."
Nora took a while to reminisce the kiss. She loved the way he confessed his feelings to her and how his warm lips felt on hers made her heart flutter. Just thinking about, she could feel her inside dancing in joy. She can't remember what existinging loved felt like. A smile crossed her lips which Sara noticed and laughed at.
"Should I say you feel something for Kelvin too?" Sara teased.
Nora tried to hide it but Sara caught her already. "I don't. It just made me remember when Michael and I used to date." her voice began to sound sad. All Sara could do was listen. "This was the same way I felt and agreed to date Michael. I won't be stupid to fall for this again."
"But Kelvin and Michael are two different person."
"They are best friends."
"They were best friends." Sara corrected. "You've got to give love another chance, Nora. I know the first wasn't fair at you but still, you just have to."
Nora shook her head. "I am not ready to get hurt again." Sara tried convincing her but Nora gestured for her to stop. "We came for a sleep over, not a talk over. Let's eat, please."
"All I know is you can't run away from this forever." Sara didn't wait to hear Nora's reply before going to get some popcorn while Nora switched on the TV.

Diego placed Kelvin on the bed, took off his shoes and undressed him. "How much did he drink?" Kelvin's father asked when he came into the room.
"Quite a lot, Uncle." Diego answered.
"Did he say why?" The man asked.
"He was already asleep when I went to pick him up at the bar."
"Is it girl problem?"
Diego couldn't tell if it was a girl problem or not. All he knew was that Kelvin is having a hard time with Michael being around. What he wants to know was why he kissed Nora? Was the kiss intentional or a mistake? What were they discussing about that could have resulted to Kelvin kissing her?
A tap on his shoulder brought him out of his thoughts. "Yes uncle."
"You didn't hear everything I said ?"
Diego shook his head. "I am sorry. I was just wondering what would have made him drink to the point that he became. It's been a long time I've seen him drink this much."
Mr Owen sigh. "I think I know where the problem is coming from and I know exactly how to handle it."
"Where uncle?"
"What's that girl's name?"
"What girl?"
"This new girl that you brought to the company."
"Nora?"
Mr. Owen snapped his fingers. "Yes, Nora. I would like to have a word with her."
"Why do you think she's the problem, Uncle?"
"I don't know yet but I will find out soon and when I find out, she is leaving my company." Diego was about to speak but his uncle stopped him. "When he wakes up, tell him that I would like a word with him."
"Yes, uncle."
Mr. Owen left the room and Diego shut the door. He took off his clothes and went to the shower. After he was done, he came out only to find Kelvin whispering Nora's name.
He thought his ears were failing him but moving closer, he heard him clearly.
"I love you, Nora." were the word of whispers coming from Kelvin.
Diego felt his heart shatter. How can three people be in love with the same girl? He asked himself.
