"Uh, hehe, Sister Fang, don’t tease me anymore. You like to eat these street stall snacks too? I’m afraid I can’t take responsibility if it upsets your stomach."
Lin Zifeng was slightly taken aback, then narrowed his eyes and joked.
He thought to himself that this woman was just playing with him, getting friendly with him after only a few days of acquaintance. He really didn’t know what was so appealing about him that attracted women’s favor so much.
"Who says I’m teasing you? I’m not as pretentious as you think." Saying this, she snatched the remainder of Lin Zifeng’s breakfast from his hand, took a bite without a word, didn’t even frown, and with a playful roll of her eyes, she laughed coyly and said, "What do you think, do I look like I’m teasing you?"
Watching Zheng Xiaofang savoring her food, Lin Zifeng was speechless...
"Actually, this breakfast is pretty good; I haven’t eaten anything like it for many years. Could you possibly bring more next time?" Under Lin Zifeng’s astonished gaze, Zheng Xiaofang actually started asking him to bring more breakfast.

"Uh, that might not be so good?" Poor Lin Zifeng had no idea whether she was just teasing him. As a senior white-collar, how could she possibly kind of rough and nutritious-lacking, not to mention dirty, street stall food? She was obviously joking and playing with him.
"What’s wrong with that?" After swallowing the food in her mouth, Zheng Xiaofang’s eyebrows knitted slightly, a hint of displeasure appeared on her face, and she pretended to be angry, "Is it so hard to bring some breakfast for Sister Fang? I’m not even asking you to not pay, why be so petty?"

Seeing Lin Zifeng’s frustrated attempts to explain, Zheng Xiaofang secretly smiled and, feeling playful, put on a serious face and said, "Then you were just saying you’d be willing, are you afraid I can’t afford it?"

She didn’t blush like those young girls but instead, stirred her coffee slowly and smiled, "Remember, I’m counting on you for breakfast tomorrow. Don’t you dare eat all by yourself. And definitely don’t starve Sister Fang. If I get angry, the consequences can be quite severe."
"Uh, Sister Fang, don’t worry. As long as I have something to eat, I’ll never forget your share. Just tell me what you like to eat. I’ll bring it for you every morning from now on," Lin Zifeng said as he approached to flatter her, aware that maintaining good relationships in the company was vital for survival. If he was ostracized, the consequences could be dire.
"I’ll have whatever you’re having," Zheng Xiaofang tapped her lips with her slender white fingers. Then, with a giggle, she said, "Simple, right?"
"Simple!" Lin Zifeng answered seriously.
Yet, internally he was complaining. You’ll eat whatever I eat? If I have a steamed bun, are you telling me you’d willingly share that too? You, a senior executive, eating a steamed bun alongside me, a title-bearing but powerless assistant director. Won’t people laugh us out of the building?
"Alright, I better get back to work. Don’t you forget my breakfast tomorrow morning," she warned.
Zheng Xiaofang lifted her delicate white finger, then cast Lin Zifeng a coquettish glance, and, swaying her dainty hips, walked towards the Finance Department with a radiant smile.
