Chapter 193: Are You Possessed?
The man in black had his waist broken, glaring with lifeless eyes, clearly unwilling to close them in death. Lin Zifeng’s brows furrowed and without a moment’s pause, he grabbed the hair of two bodyguards and smashed their heads together abruptly.
With a slap, gore flew and blood mist filled the air; the two muscular bodyguards were immediately left bleeding from the mouth and nose, their faces completely covered in blood.
Now that his identity had been exposed, Lin Zifeng couldn’t spare the lives of everyone present. If he let these people live to leave, it would bring deadly trouble upon himself.

But just when Nangong Bing didn’t know how to leave,
a familiar voice suddenly rang out not far away.
"Wife! Wife, where are you? Wife..."
Nangong Bing, as if she had found a lifeline, shouted excitedly, opening her lips wide in fear that Lin Zifeng hadn’t heard her.

I suspected something bad had happened to you, so I checked the hotel’s security footage and I nearly jumped out of my skin. You were indeed kidnapped. You have no idea how frantic I was; I almost turned the whole world upside down..." Lin Zifeng vividly painted the scene, leaving Nangong Bing startled.
Finally, he shook his head with a smile and said, "Guess what happened next?"
"Spit it out, I’m not in the mood for your guessing games," Nangong Bing snapped, her annoyance growing with Lin Zifeng’s exaggerated description.
It sounded utterly shocking, but heaven only knew if he had truly gone to find her.
"I ran into something bizarre on the road. A guy wearing a bronze mask said you had been taken to a remote place. At the moment, I wondered how he knew, but before I could figure it out, the guy mysteriously vanished! It scared me so much, I almost wet my pants. Do you think he could have been a ghost?"
As he spoke, he even touched his arm, glancing around with a fearful look on his face.
Having heard this from Lin Zifeng, Nangong Bing became even more certain that the person was the same bronze-masked man who had just saved her. She had been wondering how he knew where she was just after he had left. Now, after hearing this, Nangong Bing thought for a moment, her heart warmed by the realization that the bronze-masked man had been helping her from the shadows. "Show appreciation for your dead body, more like! As a bodyguard, you didn’t fulfill any of your duties. How dare you talk about appreciation?" she retorted.
"Hey, hey, hey! My wife, that’s not fair. We’re married, aren’t we? Who said I’m a bodyguard? I don’t like hearing that," he said, squinting his eyes and pointing at her with a smile.
"Who’s your wife? Watch your mouth! That was just an arrangement our parents made in a moment of impulse. As a modern 21st-century person, aren’t you too feudal?"
"Uh... I’ve always been this feudal; it’s just that you don’t acknowledge it," he replied.
"I think you’re the one who’s possessed!"
Nangong Bing pushed Lin Zifeng away and walked forward without looking back.
