Chapter 101: This Guy Can Actually Get a Wife
Upon entering the lobby, a brawny man clad in black and donning sunglasses had already been waiting in the living room.
"Hello, you must be Miss Hua Buqi?"
This guy’s face was a mess of beard, and on his arm, he had a tattoo of a green wolf’s head as ugly as could be.
Hua Buqi didn’t acknowledge him, as she never interacted much with strangers.
"Hello, I am Huahua’s agent, Meng Youjing." Meng Youjing was quite conventional and hurried forward to relieve the man from the awkwardness.

The man was momentarily startled, then quickly recovered.

Then he led the way ahead.
After passing through several corridors, they swiftly arrived at an opulent and exquisite private room, where everything was outfitted to the highest international luxury standards.
Neon lights of all colors adorned the room, while the dining table was laden with an assortment of delectable dishes. The room featured a refined European-style decor, with walls covered in gold-colored wallpaper and the most modern glass surfaces.
The atmosphere felt grand, luxurious, and exceptionally tasteful.
Inside stood a tall and handsome young man, dressed in a spotless white suit, his pale purple tie setting off the ensemble. He held a glass of fine French wine, standing in front of a one-way glass window, enjoying the Zhonghai City night view.
One hand casually tucked in his pocket, he exuded grace and intellectual charm.
"Oh! Miss Hua, you’ve arrived! Come, please take a seat, have a seat."
Seeing Hua Buqi, Ye Wudao was momentarily stunned. He hadn’t expected her to be so beautiful, and his spiritually expressive eyes inadvertently glanced at Hua Buqi’s chest.
"What would you like to eat, Miss Hua? The delicacies on this table are all prepared by top chefs here. I think you’ll like them. If they still don’t meet your taste, please feel free to say so," said Ye Wudao, beaming a bright smile while giving her an intense yet elegant look.

Eyeing the array of delicious food on the table, Hua Buqi, indeed feeling a bit hungry, responded simply and then picked up her chopsticks to start eating. She didn’t care much; as long as she didn’t drink alcohol, eating some food should be fine.
"Hehe, everything here is prepared for Miss Hua. It would be great if you... could enjoy it."
Ye Wudao’s face faltered slightly as Hua Buqi ignored him and began to eat, but his composure returned after just a moment.
Just as Ye Wudao was about to pour a glass of red wine for Hua Buqi, he noticed she had buried her head in eating the delicious food on the table after only a short response.
"Hehe, it’s rare for young master Ye to think so highly of our Huahua. Here, let me toast to young master Ye on our behalf," said Meng Youjing, trying to smooth over any awkwardness as Huahua’s agent skilled in socializing.
However, from beginning to end, Ye Wudao and his rough-looking subordinate ignored Meng Youjing as if she were air, not even glancing at her once. With regard to her toast, Ye Wudao frowned slightly, clearly displeased, and then shot a look at the rough man when Meng Youjing wasn’t watching.
"Since Assistant Meng is in such high spirits, why don’t I drink on behalf of my young master with you? How about that?"
The rough man’s mouth spread into a grin as his eyes glanced suggestively at the slight cleavage of Meng Youjing’s chest.
But Meng Youjing was not to be outdone and quickly replied with a smile, "Since young master Ye isn’t inclined to drink with me, I’ll just drink this one in his honor."
Without waiting for the rough man’s approval, she downed the glass of red wine. Especially as she tilted her head back to drink, the rough man deliberately leaned closer to eye Meng Youjing’s voluptuous chest, a malicious sneer spreading across his lips.

It seemed Meng Youjing had underestimated the wit of this young master Ye. Here’s to our cooperation, and I insist you join me for a drink," Ye Wudao continued with a radiant smile, giving off a demeanor that was both amiable and sunny. However, after what just happened, Meng Youjing felt apprehensive.
It was clear that young master Ye was here for Huahua and escaping the evening might prove difficult.
"Excuse me for a moment," Meng Youjing said, her face all smiles, as she turned to Ye Wudao.
However, Ye Wudao wasn’t focusing on her as the main guest today, he didn’t care at all, and he didn’t say anything. It was actually better for him that she left, as it gave him the opportunity to chat with Hua Buqi alone.
"I’m sorry, I don’t drink," Hua Buqi said, directly refusing despite his sweet talk.

What made her itch with rage was that Lin Zifeng even had the audacity to request a ride.
But what they didn’t know was that it was already ten o’clock at night. Where would they find a taxi outside at this time? Moreover, the location of Lin Zifeng’s gathering
was light-years away from the club where Huahua was that evening. How could she possibly make it in such a short time? If you won’t pick me up, am I supposed to fly there?

Nangong Bing was both angry and hungry, her stomach embarrassingly growling out loud.
If anyone from Tianyu Group knew that their aloof CEO Nangong Bing was being treated outside, they would probably want to kill Lin Zifeng on her behalf. After all, she was a goddess in the eyes of the Tianyu staff!
To make a goddess sit in a car and wait for so long, was this something a person, a man, could actually do?
In just an instant, Nangong Bing mentally cursed Lin Zifeng and his ancestors thoroughly.

As everyone was mocking Lin Zifeng for possibly still being single, Nangong Bing’s sudden call caught everyone’s attention.
Some couldn’t believe it; this guy got himself a wife?
"Heh, dear wife, just wait a bit longer; I’ll be right there, right there," he soothed.
"Lin! If you don’t come down this instant, I’ll never let you off!" Nangong Bing was close to fainting from anger. This guy was putting on a show in front of others, claiming her as his wife. How could he spout such lightning-attracting nonsense?
