Furiously I dialed Dad's number.
He picked my call in one ring.
"Dad." I yelled.
"What's wrong, Shana?" Dad asked worried.
"Is Dr. Aarav Kapoor my landlord?" I asked irritated.
"Yess. I told you his father is a good friend of mine." He stated very calmly.
"On this whole planet, you found this one apartment for me which belongs to a self absorbed jerk!" I said to him irritated.
My dad just laughed.
"Beta, I've met him a few times. I trust him that is the reason I rented apartment in his building." He said.
I just whined and hung up.
"I can bloody take care of myself!" I muttered throwing my phone on the bed irritated.
Calm down, Shana!
This is your new cell phone don't break it in one day.
Yeah! Because the previous one was broke by the same expressionless rock!
"Why, God why?" I groaned.
I just changed my clothes and then there was a call from Myra.
"Speak bitch!" I said.
"I need you to meet me at our regular cafe." She said and her voice sounded hoarse like she's been crying since long.
I quickly got alarmed and said "I'll be there in 10."
With this I hung up.

I was seated in the cafe we usually come to and was waiting for Myra when I saw Ayaan enter the cafe.
"She called you too?" I asked him and he just nodded.
"She called shruti too seems like it is something important." Ayaan said taking his seat.
Shruti is another friend of ours. We are together since a junior college times. Me and Myra are in the same college now but Shruti has a job. She is working in a research department.
Myra and shruti entered together and I looked at Myra. Her eyes were all red and puffy as if she was crying since a long time.
They both sat on their respective chairs.
"Myra what's wrong?" I asked her keeping my hand on hers.
"I—I don't know what to do." She said stuttering.
"Myra. What are you talking about?" Ayaan asked.
"I am in relationship with your brother, Shana." She blurted looking at me and then shut her eyes tightly.
I looked at her shocked.
When did this happen?
"Are you serious?" I asked shocked.
Ayaan and Shruti just shared a knowing look.
"You guys knew? Am I the only one kept in dark?" I asked raising my voice a bit.
"I am sorry, Shana. I just didn't know how to tell you about this. We've been together since 2 years." She said holding my hand.
But I just jerked my hand away.
"Why telling me now? You could've straight away handed me the wedding invitation." I said with a humourless chuckle.
"Shana, I wanted to tell you but then that would just compicate things more."
She said and a tear slipped from her eye
"So? Do you think I care about it? You know it. I would've been on cloud nine i you would've told me earlier but right now I am just pissed." I said turning my eyes away from her.
I feel betrayed!
"Shana, please atleast hear her out." Ayaan said trying to make me understand.
"Dad, came to know about it today." She said and I whipped my head in her direction.
"What? How? Is everything okay?" I asked and Ayaan and shruti looked equally shocked.
And Myra's dad is really strict.
"He gave me an ultimatum today. A week and Me and Daksh should be an over chapter. He is going to get me married to someone else." She said and sobbed.
"But how can he make you marry against your will?" I asked gritting my teeth.
"Shana, he is my father. He can do whatever he wants. We are a very middle class family and you know how Dad hates rich people. He would never let me marry Daksh." She said still sobbing.
"Does Daksh know this?" Shruti asked keeping her hand on her shoulder.
She just nodded her head in a No.
"I think he needs to know it." Ayaan said and we agreed.
"Don't worry. Everything is going to be fine." I said holding her hand.
"I don't think so." She whispered.
"We will make sure that everything goes fine." I said to her and smiled.
"What are friends for, huh?" Shruti asked wiggling her brows.
"But I am still angry with you." I said huffing.
"I am really sorry. Just try and understand me." She said with tears in her eyes.
"I understand you." I said squeezing her hand and giving her a smile.
"Now smile yaar, we can't see you like this." Ayaan said bumping his shoulder with her.
She quickly wiped her tears and smiled.
"Tomorrow after leaving from hospital we'll directly go to Bhai's office." I said and she just nodded.
I hugged her and then we left to our respective places.

I just left from the hospital towards Daksh's office.
Just then I saw a car stuck at the side of road and then I saw at the person standing behind the trunk.
Kapoor!
I went and parked my scooty towards him.
"Hello, Sir.Is something wrong?" I asked smiling at him.
The least i could do is be civil with him.
He looked at me and muttered something under his breath running a hand in his hair frustratedly.
"What are you doing over here?" He asked closing the trunk.
"Ohh the street also belongs to you? I did not know. The next time I will pass by I will sure take your permission." I said with a sarcastic smile.
"Just leave for wherever you are headed." He said irritated.
"I was just asking if you need any help. By looking at the traffic do you think you can ask some one to pick you? If you have a helicopter then only you can get out of here." I said and started my scooty frustratingly.
He just kept his hand on scooty's handle and said "Where are you going?"
I just rolled my eyes at him.
"My brother's office."
I said nonchalantly.
He was quiet for sometime and thinking about something.
Idiot!
"I'll drive." He said and I looked at him shocked.
"Not at all. You're lucky I am allowing to sit behind me. I never allow anyone to touch my scooty." I said and handed him another helmet.
Groaning he sat behind me very awkwardly.
It was quite funny.
His large frame was looking so huge on a small scooty.
I just giggled at him.
"I can't believe I am doing this." He muttered.
"I am doing this because you saved me from suspension, okay? Don't think that I am interested in you in any way." I said making a face.
"Sure." He said rolling his eyes.
"Why do you talk so less? I mean don't you get bored all day with that rock expression of yours." I asked him and overtook a vehicle by increasing speed.
He just held my waist from both sides so that he won't fall.
"God! I want to get down alive. Stop talking and focus on driving." He said irritated.
