I was just walking towards my department with a smile on my face.
He is not that bad!
I would've been definitely suspended today if it was not for him.
The moment he entered I got to know he is someone who has authority in this college.
I thought he would take revenge on me but clearly he was supporting me.
Stop thinking about him, will you?
I started with my round in the patient's ward.
There was this lady who is been admitted since 2 days because she had a few complications and also her baby is premature. But I did not see any of her relatives since she is delivered the baby.
I went towards her and asked her
"How are you now?"
"I am fine." She said but I could see she wasn't fine.
"Is something wrong?" I asked her.
"My husband refuses to accept the child because it is a girl." She said and sobbed.
There were a few interns with me so they were trying to make her stop crying.
"What are you going to do about it?" I asked her.
"Can I leave her over here?" She asked and my anger just rose to another level.
"If I have my husband I can have more children but if he leaves me, what will I do?" She asked still sobbing and the interns looked at me widening their eyes because they know me too well to know how mad is this statement going to make me.
"That is against the protocols of the hospital. You should've thought through this before getting pregnant with a child. How can you even think of leaving your child over here?" I said to her trying to control my anger and left the ward because I know I would've snapped at her.

I was chanting this throughout in my mind.
Then I saw Dr. Aarav Kapoor getting out of the department.
I quickened my pace towards him.
"Dr. Kapoor!" I called him from behind.
He just turned around towards me and I took my time checking him out.
How did I not notice before , he is soo handsome?
He stood there with his hands in his pockets and his eyebrows raised.
Ofcourse, Typical.
Mr.I-won't-utter-a-word.
"Thank you." I said to him with a smile.
"For what?" He asked.
"For whatever happened back there in the office. Thanks for not getting me suspended." I said again smiling and that freaking rock didn't show a single emotion.
" I did what was right." He said with a blank face and then checked his wrist watch and said
"Now, If you're done; I would like to leave."
I just scowled at him.
Moron!
I made a mistake!
"I don't think you would lose a few teeth of yours if you start being considerate and polite to people." I said huffing and turned around but ofcourse how could I not injure myself when he was around me.
There was a pillar behind me and as I turned I was going to hit my forhead but he kept his palm on my forhead.
"Watch where you go." He said and removed his palm.
"This is the most considerate and polite I can be." He said rolling his eyes and left.
And I stood there embarrassed.
I just hit my forehead with my palm.
Stupid Shanaya!
Couldn't stay out of trouble for a minute!
Just then my phone started ringing and it was Ayaan.
What is it?
I asked irritated.
Woah,what's wrong with you?
He asked me laughing.
The same annoying creature!
I said huffing.
We are waiting for you in the parking lot.
He said
I'll be there in 2.
I said to him and hung up.
I started gathering my things and then I left the department.
When I reached the parking lot I saw Ayaan talking to someone.
"Ayaan." I called him.
The person he was talking to just turned around and I met with the same infuriating man.
He again rolled his eyes at me.
And I again scowled at him.
"Your eyes are going to roll out of your sockets one day." I yelled at him and walked towards my scooty.
I just started scrolling through my phone sitting on my scooty waiting for him.
He came and smacked my head.
"Oww!" I winced and punched him in the gut.
"You hit like a man." He said groaning.
I just flipped my hair.
"Why were you talking to that rock?" I asked him.
"Rock?" He asked questioning me.
"Yeah, rock. Dr. Aarav Kapoor a.k.a rock." I said laughing.
He started laughing with me.
"He is the trustee of our college. And you have to guts to talk back to him?" He asked raising his brows.
"What?" I almost yelled and my eyes wide.
I knew he had authority but trustee??
I am in deep shit!
"And also you are bitching about my elder brother in front of me." He said laughing.
"What the fuck? How come I didn't know about it? He is your brother?" I asked yelling.
"Yuppp! My elder brother. He is my uncle's son." He said nodding.
"Yeah.. but how come he looks soo handsome and you are not even close to it." I said wiggling my brows at him.
"You!" He said and was going to smack me when Myra came and said
"No fighting , kids!" She said and seperated us.
"Okay, I'll leave now. I am getting late. Mom & dad have arranged another apartment. My previous apartment's landlord was very difficult." I said remembering his antics.
"Again, I told you. Your dad owns numerous buildings in the whole city but you are just too stubborn." Myra said sighing.
"You know, I want it my way." I said and left waving them a good bye.
When I reached my new apartment it was nothing like the previous one because ofcourse Dad arranged it.
The house was freaking big!
And the whole building is owned by one my dad's friend's son.
Ofcourse!
My dad won't leave me in any apartment.
I thought rolling my eyes.
"Dad, don't you think it is too much?" I asked as I moved around the apartment.
It was the top most floor and each floors had only two apartments.
The view from the window was breathtaking.
"I am not compromising on your safety. You live on your terms because you want to be independent. But this is the least I could do to make sure you are safe." He said to me with a stern expression.
"Fine!" I huffed.
"All your belongings are shifted. The refrigerator is stocked. Do not try to cook anything. You'll burn up the kitchen." My dad instructed me and then hugged me.
"Dad, you live like 20 mins away from here. Stop getting emotional." I said hugging him back.
"I am just worried for you. When will you finish your studies and get back home?" He asked me with a sulky face and I just laughed at him.
"No, No I don't want her coming back home. I love it there alone being the centre of attraction for you & mom." My elder brother Daksh said entering the living room.
"Asshole!" I said punching on his shoulder.
"Language Shana!" He said giving me fake glare and then we both started laughing.
"On serious note, never come back home again. We are all happy without you in it." He said laughing and I again punched him.
"Dad!" I whined.
"Stop troubling her Daksh!" Dad warned him and he just rolled his eyes at me.
What is it with everyone rolling their eyes at me?
