Knowing I wouldn't give her a fight, she pulled me with her towards the news reporter van where she spotted the hot reporter. I didn't pull away and allowed her to lead me. After all, I was the shy one in our group so I allowed her to take me with her. Once he came into view, I tried hard to pull from her grip, but her hand just tightened on my arm. Then she stopped right where he was. “Hi, do you all need to interview locals? ” It was Melba who spoke first. Oh, God, these ladies were going to be the death of my self-esteem. Escaping her grip, I walked back and hid behind the girls, they were much taller than me and helped me to conceal myself. I heard the man laugh and called out. “Hey, Diego we have volunteers.” laughingly he yelled. I was totally embarrassed and held my stand and peeked through the shoulders of my friends and then I saw him. He was handsome, he was tall maybe six feet, probably around twenty-seven or thirty. He had clear hazel eyes, medium brown hair, a sharp nose, and luscious lips. His skin was sandy color and his features were very masculine and possibly Hispanic descendant but couldn’t really tell. He wore a button-up jacket and a white t-shirt underneath and he was wearing blue jeans. Oh God, he was extremely handsome and so similar to a movie star but at the time I couldn’t put my thumb to whom. But what the hell a jacket it must be 100 degrees in that, but oh I didn’t care, he was hot. He seemed cool in the heated temperature as far as I could tell, but somehow I was feeling hotter just staring at him. “Hi, my name is Diego. So you want me to interview you?” He asked. Then it hit me like the sound of his voice encircling my body with an invisible breeze. I didn’t understand what was happening to me so I made sure I stood behind trying to shield myself from his view. The temperature was either rising because I was extremely warm all of a sudden. I didn’t understand why I was feeling this way. I didn’t hear anyone else, but the sound of his words bathing me with a desire I had never experienced, and the others' voices were blah, blah, blah. I hadn’t realized what I was doing. I was shrugging off my top, and securing it around my arm, and decided to douse myself with water. As I took the water and started to pour it on my palm and began patting my shoulder area I noticed that the group had gone quiet. I looked up and noticed he had stopped talking and was looking at me. I hadn’t realized the girls had moved to one side and I was exposed. He looked at me, really looked at me, and walked over to where I was. He stood in front of me. “I’ll interview you if you’d like.” I looked at the girls who were smiling ridiculously at me. I saw Sara pouting a bit. I guess she wished it was her he had asked. I looked at him and was unable to speak for a minute or two, he had placed me under a spell because I couldn’t take my eyes off his face. I noticed his eyes were beautiful and somehow I could see myself in them. His lips looked so tender and full and all I was thinking wanting those lips on me everywhere. I was awoken by his smile and he knew I was taking him in and a smirk was on his beautiful face. It jolted me and instead of melting, it heated me up with anger slowly arising “I…I don’t do interviews.” I told him hotly. He looked at me for a while longer, took away my water bottle, and drank from it. I gasped. “Maybe next time, ladies.” and walked away with my water. Oh, god I felt a tingling all over my body. The girls looked at him as he walked away. Sara still upset it wasn't her and yelled. “You’re loss!” We turned to leave to venture on our way to festivities. I swore I heard him say. “Yes, my loss.”
