He placed the Aegis serum on the table before him and had Elena use the humanoid robot. If things go wrong, Elena would inject him with the serum, preventing his death.
"I am ready," Elena said.
"Good luck to me," Tony said with a smirk. He rolled up his sleeve and injected the solution directly into his forearm.
Instantly, he felt it.
A strange warmth spread through his veins, not painful, but intensely aware. He could feel the nanites moving, integrating, adapting. His heart rate spiked for a moment before stabilizing.
